Me pasé por una comida para llevar. Anteriormente estaba delicioso.

What a gem of a little spot this is was my regular when I stayed in the area unfortunately I've moved and can't order but when am passing a just have to swing by say hi and get a scran. The chicken pakora and calzone are personal favourites, but I've never had a bad meal when shahid has been there keep up the good work bud 👍
I got married here in April 2022, from the first meeting Stuart couldn't have been more helpful, we asked for some last minute amends to meals, no issue, there were spare meals on the day due to people not turning up and he dished them out much to my Grandad's delight who put away 6 courses in the end! We also had two guests who were vegan and again, not an issue. We had so many compliments on the food, it was absolutely delicious.
We had Razmataz occasions doing the decor/running the day- Andy and Stuart work like a dream team - our day was absolutely perfect. With the two of them in charge, it felt like an expensive hotel wedding but at a fraction of the cost.
We were fortunate enough for the weather to be nice so we were able to get out onto the golf course for pictures, Stuart got us a couple of buggies and took us round. The golfers were so kind to let us disturb a couple of their games to let us take pictures.
A great venue, with beautiful surroundings and a fantastic team.
Was a little rough around the edges compared to other places we had stayed.
However they provided us with a warm place to sleep and wow what a breakfast in the morning.
Marion certainly knows how to feed you. Full Scottish breakfast we could not really eat it as there was so much.
The hosts were really charming.
Wow! Wow! And thrice, Wow!
What a wee gem.
Great location, friendly and welcoming - really hospitable!
Dog friendly
Great coffee!
And I haven't mentioned the food yet! The scones are to die for, and all pieces are homemade and on the premises. First time I have ever had pesto with a scone, and OMG, did it work!
Will definitely be back again (and again and again)!
Cannot recommend this wee cafe highly enough.
Used to come here a few times a year and it was lovely. Owned I think by an older person and had their family helping them out. Food was always good. Great views and lots of lovely gifts to buy. Came back to find the cafe and shop has new operators (the owners still own the place). The food choice was much less and I’m afraid I didn’t like the cake - too heard. The coffee however was excellent. Most of the gifts have gone too. I’m afraid it’s just lost something in the change. Work to do to bring back the sparkle.
The staff were very friendly, the starters were good and the mains a bit of a mixed bag. The smoked haddock risotto was nice, but we also had a Italian sausage pasta which we found to taste very strongly of liver which was not to our taste. Desserts were really good, an excellent black current cheesecake.
Lovely food and a very friendly young lady running the cafe. Prices are very reasonable. This is a review for the same address but new owners and called now callef Chinwags
