Pellegrini in Glasgow City

The staff were very friendly, the starters were good and the mains a bit of a mixed bag. The smoked haddock risotto was nice, but we also had a Italian sausage pasta which we found to taste very strongly of liver which was not to our taste. Desserts were really good, an excellent black current cheesecake.

Good portion sizes, very friendly Italian waitress. Main courses were a little bland and uninteresting, but starter, dessert and coffee all good. It was nice to be out for a meal, was quite busy, so nice atmosphere in the restaurant :)

Firstly, I am not a great fan of music being played in restaurants, having said that, the music played in Pellegrini was fantastic and really added to the pleasant atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The Tiramisu was to die for. All in all a very pleasant experience and I would recommend the Pellegrini to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Glasgow. We will be back.

Had a tremendous family dinner here on Friday evening. Staff could not have been better, from the friendly welcome to the end when we left. Would highly recommend the risotto and spaghetti carbonara. Nice, pleasant ambience to round off a great evening.

Fab food, great music & excellent service. Visiting from Aberdeen and out for lunch with friends. Good location 😊

We had some awesome food here with family and friends on Friday night. They’re serving beautiful modern-Italian food in a great setting in Finnieston. The staff were really attentive, offered recommendations and explained a couple of things on the menu for us. I’ll be back soon for the Bruschetta and ‘Nduja risotto!

Visited this venue with family and would definitely return! Warm friendly service, excellent food beautifully presented and nice relaxed surroundings! What’s not to like!

Will be be back. There last night with an Itison deal £29 for two courses and one bottle of wine. Super friendly staff. Amazing food ant pesto as good as I’ve had outside Italy. Very authentic and can’t wait to return.

Thus was our first visit to pellegrini and it wont be our last five stars for everything from the excellent service from our waiter to the out of this world food we were due to see strictly come dancing but it was cancelled at the last minute and we had a reservation at 4,30 on sunday afternoon all i can say is this is one of the best meals i have had in a long time and my freinds and i will definetly recommend this fantastic restaurant to all our friends also i spoke to the owner Gabreilla as we left and she and her staff are fantastic fabulous thanks for a fantastic meal

Food good and service good but £13 for 3 courses for kids is a rip off especially when it’s garlic bread then pasta with a tomato sauce and one scoop of ice cream . Italian restaurants are normally around £6 or £7 for kids lunch .

We had reserved a table but unfortunately were seated upstairs nose to nose with the toilets. Every time someone opened the doors we could see in. Not really what you want to experience when you are eating. Although it was only 17.30 pm the restaurant was very busy so there were no other seats available. The staff were lovely food was ok but we only stayed for an hour due to our discomfort.

When Panevino, the restaurant previously at this spot, opened, it had an interesting concept and some very good food, but over time it regressed to a decent but run of the mill Italian restaurant. Earlier this year, the owners rebranded and redecorated to produce this light, bright venue, still an Italian restaurant, but there's a touch of originality to the dishes, best exemplified by the current Christmas menu, which definitely offers something different from the usual seasonal fare. The Zuppa di Bosco, a concoction of porcini mushroom and black truffle, is to die for. I was sorry to see the place near-empty for lunch, on the last Saturday before Christmas, it deserves better, and I hope that the restaurant will maintain its originality and not sink into the commonplace, as is, alas, so frequent an occurrence with new restaurants.

Had a delightful evening in Pellegrini Glasgow. The food was delicious, the service was first class and nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money, will definitely be going back.

The food here was great, albeit the portions were a bit small and the prices a bit high (£50 for two - shared starter, two pastas, two desserts, two soft drinks). Its a great location and the food is worth going back for.

Corny, but true...there is nothing better than freshly cooked food the way your mamma would make it! Well...with a bit more finesse and attention to presentation. Really worth a visit. Great flavours, great choice. Loved it!

A good makeover to a rather idiosyncratic space has transformed the old "Panevino" restaurant into this bright "new" restaurant. (We were, unsurprisingly, unable to find the old one) Food and service of the highest standards/ Favourites included carbonara and rosemary focaccia.

The transformation from Pane vino to Pellegrini is unbelievable, bright, stylish, and spacious (feels double the size) with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere! We were there as a crowd and each plate was as fabulous and the next! Wonderful food, would highly recommend.

A divine meal in this new restaurant, outstanding, quality Italian fare with a perfectly chosen wine list. Beautifully decorated, attentive staff and lovely atmosphere.
