LUV Cafe in Glasgow City

Devastated to hear about this place shutting down. Was a really nice cafe, good food a drink and service.

Simplemente la mejor sopa de lentejas en Linthouse (o en cualquier otro lugar de Escocia en mi humilde opinión). Nothing special but really good service.girls are lovely ...as a small cafe not to many things to comment ...just nice athmosfer if u are looking for quick coffee lunch

Vino para café para adultos y tostadas para los niños pequeños. Tengo que decir que me quedé impresionado con el café y probé un poco de la tostada, que era muy sabroso. Un par de galletas imperiales (enormes y deliciosas) y abuelas momias y Grannie estaban encantadas. El personal amable y la decoración rústica le dieron a esta pequeña cafetería un ambiente hogareño y rústico.

Gracias por un almuerzo encantador sopa n sandwich muy sabroso? Trabajo hoy con usuarios de servicios de una unidad de guardería con adultos mayores con necesidades complejas. El personal tiene una comprensión fantástica de las necesidades que tienen los usuarios de nuestros servicios; sin duda volveremos 10/10 gracias.

I work in a day centre for older adults with dementia and we took a handful here for some lunch! Perfect, cosy and welcoming! Staff were brilliant with our clients, very helpful! Will be back, highly recommend this place!

Un lugar dulce y encantador para comer, donde la comida es sana y abundante. Pedí una ensalada y estaba bien preparado y muy abundante. Personal atento y dispuesto a ayudar. El único inconveniente. . Poco aparcamiento. un problema. . Pero se puede encontrar si estás paciente! !

Me encanta el café de camino al hospital cercano.Tuve el sandwich de atún mayonesa con cebolla roja, seguido de un pedazo de su torta de jengibre. Sándwich especialmente era preciosa, en pan integral.El personal es muy agradable, simpáticos y dispuestos a ayudar. Servicio rápido. Lugar precioso wee dentro, un pequeño santuario en Govan.

If you go to the luv cafe be sure to have lentil soup it is absolutely delicious. Great staff and cozy friendly environment well worth a visit. You wont be disappointed

Tan bueno tener una cafetería local que es acogedor, limpio y agradable no comida fresca. La sopa es siempre sorprendente y hacen sándwiches con pan italiano. Lo único es que me preguntara cosas para personas que padezcan alergias que incluye café descafeinado, leche de soja y pan sin gluten. También pido que me esperar a cerrada antes de rociar un montón de diferentes líquidos de limpieza bastante tóxicos alrededor, totalmente dieron en mi pecho y considerar el uso de productos respetuosos con el medioambiente:)).

I visit the luv café regularly with my Cpn as a disabled customer i found. The bad Limited parking (not cafés fault)and limited seating The good. Great service; staff are extremely kind and welcoming making a lovely atmosphere and a great place to visit. Great...

Una corriente exterior. Por dentro es un acogedor café. El menú es pequeño, pero la calidad es buena. Barato con preciosas señoras detrás del mostrador y limpio. Mejor café por millas, excelente sopas, todo hecho a la orden. Mucho aparcamiento cerca.

Had lunch here with family, grandchildren had been climbing at Glasgow Climbing Centre. We were a party of 6 and staff advised pushing 2 tables together which worked a treat. Food was freshly made and very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A great wee place to have lunch.

When on holiday we always try to get a wee breakfast or a lunch here. So we popped along this morning for a roll and bacon and a coffee each and a wee read at the paper. Nicky and her staff are always welcoming and the quality of food is always superb. Lunchtime soup is also a winner. The ambience is great and the place feels quite rive gauche Parisien . Govan needs more places like this. Shame they are no longer doing their occasional gourmet nights. Those nights were great!

There are plenty pf places to buy a coffee in Govan but few are anywhere near as good as Luv Cafe. The menu is limited but the quality of food, drinks and service very good. The staff are notably helpful. There is limited parking near by and it is a good place to pick up something on the way somewhere else like the hospital.

Only complaint is the staff start clearing up at 2.30 when they don't shut till 4pm, and getting served after 3.15pm is not possible.Bizarrely they're open weekdays till 2.30pm (supposed to be 4pm) and closed on a weekend? Otherwise a lovely café, recommended.

This is not a cafe! It's a roll/sandwich shop with less choice then anywhere else I've been to! Meat used is of hilariously poor quality. Coffee is surprisingly good though. Worst place in Linthouse/Govan for food. Unless it's just for a coffee don't bother avoid, go somewhere else and I mean anywhere is better than here for food.

I have been to this cafe many times with friends and family and it's never been a let down. Service is great and food is fab. They don't rush you when your finished, very relaxed place.

The soup is just perfect (lentil is the best) a wee cuppa and a gab just the ticket the only thing to bear in mind parking is limited if not rare and the road works for the new hospital are still ongoing and can be very troublesome however when you get there it will be worth it. This is my regular meeting spot

Great wee place to meet up. homemade food is excellent. favourite is the tasca bread toasted with salad is amazing. staff is so friendly and pleasant. you must try!

Lovely wee place in govan to pop for lunch. Every choice is really nice & I only wish they would extend their menu & I would visit even more.

Had a sneaky day off so decided to let someone else make my brekkie!Very tasty morning roll served with a nice wee pot of tea.If you didn't know where you were you would think you were in a continental café. Exposed brick interior walls and and large french style windows lend a nice ambience.Staff also very pleasant. ..A nice wee find.

I have visited this cafe with a friend on a few occasions and enjoyed the toasted sandwiches for lunch. It is not a huge menu but what we have had was very good. It has a rustic look and friendly staff not too expensive, lunch for two £10. Worth a visit.
