Pakistani Street Food in Glasgow City

Oh my goodness, stepping into Pakistani Street Food instantly transported me to the bustling vendor shops of Pakistan. The décor and vibrant colours created such a cosy, nostalgic atmosphere. Truly top marks for the vibe, it was like being back home. The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly, always smiling, and made us feel welcomed and acknowledged throughout. We had the gol gappey, which were quite good, the sauces and flavoured water were top notch. I had a beef burger, and my friend ordered a plate of aloo tikki. The burger was decent, though it lacked a bit of flavour — I’d give it a 4 out of 5. The aloo tikki was a bit overpowering with garam masala for my taste, so I’d rate that 3 out of 5. Overall, I really enjoyed my wee time there. It's a must-try spot for anyone craving authentic Pakistani street food vibes in a welcoming setting!

Never recommend the owner is mentally upset I think so. Unhygienic food

Had a sensational lamb kebab here. Beautifully tender meat, subtle but flavorful sauces, and a wrap that didn't get soaked through or disintegrate at all while I was eating. Can't wait to come back here again. Also, the prices are REALLY good.

Just had a breakfast .It's absolutely delicious. Puree was so big I barley finished.1 Paratha is enough for 2 people. Kashmiri chaiy " swad a gaya g" Staff is very nice and welcoming. Serving is marvellous. I recommend plz try it at once . You deserve 5 star

We tried dehi bhalay and falooda, both were mouthwatering at the look and the portions were of excellent size. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Very cheap and very delicious samosas!

The cuisine was delicious, but the owner's behavior was poor, as if he was ignoring people. However, the other staff were excellent. Overall, a negative experience with the owner, will never go there again.

Waste of time, waited half an hour for the food to arrive and when it did it was cold to the touch. After having the food me and my family had to wait another 10 minutes at the front desk as the owner was purposefully ignoring us to talk to another customer. Overall a rly rly bad experience and I’ll never be coming back

Ordered a chicken kebab wrap, but i’m not sure if maybe I was given a lamb wrap instead. Opened it up and it looked like it had been in the microwave for a week. Didn’t taste terrible, but not as good as previous wraps from here.

While visiting Glasgow we were craving for authentic Pakistani breakfast and there it was 😊. Enjoyed desi parathas with yoghurt and achar (pickle) and of course desi chai. The ambience was great with Pakistani jugats (banter) all around 😊. Loved the food, the ambience and the overall experience.

Ordered 4 boxes of chicken biryani, from which one box had a bad stinky smell, probably it was old or had gone bad and I had to bin it. I gave it a second chance today by ordering because my first experience wasn't good either. Not going to order again.

Just witnessed the owner shout at a waitress behind the counter and it looked like the waitress just took her belongings and left. The owner seems hot headed and the atmosphere wasnt great in the restaurant. Will never go there again - thats for sure!!!

Ordered kulfi Falooda “dessert” for £6. Price is decent for what you get. And the falooda itself taste good. However it’s a struggle to “eat” it with a straw, would be nice if they provided a wooden disposable spoon.

Bad behaviour from the owner and the polite behaviour from the staff who is working in the pakistani street food. The owner needs to firstly learn the lesson how to talk with the customers and give prioty to their costumers.

I had a really challenging experience with an Uber driver. It was absolutely not the fault if the Pakistani Street food staff, despite this, I was well looked after. They called Uber and dealt with it on my behalf. I re ordered and, as ever, our food was excellent. Thanks for your patience and going the extra mile for me. 🙏

Proper delicious, fresh to order (but quick turn around!) and so reasonable.

so friendly and patient while you dither over what to select from the delectable menu, but the best thing about this place is that there are no bad things on the menu

Love this place. Favourite local takeaway. Regularly get a chicken boti wrap or biryani with a plain paratha. Super friendly staff. Always have a nice chat when I’m in.

This place does the best wraps in southside in my opinion. However the last time I went I was extremely disappointed. I asked for a chicken boti wrap with the paratha wrap but I was informed that they are not using paratha wraps but another kind of wrap. The other wrap was not very nice I have to admit. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be going back to this place unless they start doing the paratha wrap again

Got Chapli kebab burger, biryani and pasties and they were all delicious, and the staff there really friendly would highly recommend

Good Pakistan street foods including papri chat, golgappas and samosas, would recommend it if someone wants to have it for takeaway and real Pakistani taste. I would recommend the owner to use social media for greater publicity. Authentic taste.

I ate disgusting and old food. I had fever, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea. I advise people not to eat in this disgusting restaurant.

Loved the chicken biriyani and the lamb biriyani. Very reasonably priced. This is predominantly a takeaway place although they do have a small table with a few chairs outside the restaurant.

Didn't get what I ordered, asked 3 times for lamb samosa and was given potato. Kebab burger was tasteless.

The lamb seek kebab was fantastic. But the veggie samosas needed a bit more salt.

Delicious food ! We had the chicken paratha wrap, the mince naan and the gol gappa and it was plenty of good between 3 people and so tasty, very satisfied !

Friendly Staff Samosa chaat was amazing

Was at a festival in Queens Park and liked the look of the food on the menu. Got a Lamb Wrap and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. The bread was homemade and beats any wrap you will ever get out a packet. Also had a wee spice kick. Added chips for and extra £1.95, the portion was good. Definitely be back!!

Visited today as I've been looking for somewhere in glasgow that does gol gappe. I got a great portion here and it was very tasty. Also tried my first ever falooda (pistachio) and oh my goodness it was so delicious! Never had anything like it before but will definately be back for more. Lovely staff. Thank you 😊

Passing through today so decided to take some food back to Fife. Got home and really enjoyed it. Samosa Chatt tasty and the Aloo Paratha was really good too. Reheated at home but still enjoyable. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Glasgow. Thank you.

Lamb biryani is probably the best I've had from a carryout in Glasgow. Full of flavours, lamb is cooked to perfection. Having tried samosa salad, parathas with chicken and bun kebab, all good stuff. Falooda is firm favourite. Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a good place. Like it.

Chicken Birayni was just awesome

We were up from Yorkshire so didn't know any if the local area so picked this up from searching on the Internet. It's a lovely clean with lovely friendly staff. We bought the bun kebab and it was a great portion size and tasted lovely. Highly recommend.

An excellent food corner. Samosa really tastes good. Karak chai and Pink tea are specialities. Kamran is an extra ordinary person as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Stopped by to get some Kashmiri Tea..... this is the longest established place doing different teas and traditional food for years before other establishments opened in and around southside, this place is by far the best for its selection of teas and tradional pakistani cuisine

Nice wee place to get snacks. Taste is great and portion size is good aswell. Their Pakistan style burger bun with egg is the best.

Food was ok, service was not the greatest and overall expensive for the style of food. Missed out on 2 stars!

Visited recently with my mum especially for the Karachi Bun Kebab which we have seen all over YouTube. It was delicious and service was friendly and food was obviously made with care. Wish we lived closer can't wait to go back will always be on the list of places to eat on Glasgow. Don't sleep on Pakistani Street Food!

Disappointed with this place was really looking forward to it. Called them 15 mins prior to ordering the meal asked them for 7 burger meals. Was told they couldn’t accommodate 7 burger meals and that I should take 4 instead. Then when I agreed to taken the 4 and asking the remanded 3 to get something to else. Once I got to the place had to stand about waiting for a few mins before any1 Tuk any notice I was there. Then when I finally get served I ask about my order and was told will be 1 mins more when I asked if it will defo be 1 min as I was really tight on time I was told to leave the shop. So I did I Tuk my money and left to go to my usual spot (Delicious corner on Allison Street) best places in govanhill, not under staffed excellent quality food & excellent service. May give them another try in the near future as I was looking forward to it but I am really un happy with the service I received today.

I'm a Glaswegian who spent a month travelling around Pakistan in March. I visited Pakistani Street Food on Victoria Road for the first time yesterday - and this is some of the most authentic Pakistani food I've tried in Glasgow. Absolutely delicious, great prices, and a great place to try some Pakistani cuisine here in my city! It takes me back to eating Paratha Rolls from street vendors in Anarkali Bazaar in Lahore or Burns Road Food Street in Karachi.
