Amazing quality of products, nice service and lovely staff

We’ve tried to eat there multiple times and they’re never open even when they say they are. Either update your working hours or stay open - wasting peoples time like this is incredibly frustrating. very little information on their website on dietary requirements too! Such a disappointment and will not be trying again

I had great expectations about this place, but unfortunately I did not enjoy my carnitas burrito. The rice tasted a bit old and the meat was a bit soggy.

Sacred Tum Tacos, is a place where the quality of tacos varies. The outcome largely depends on the individual preparing them behind the counter. Despite this inconsistency, the freshness and taste of the ingredients are always guaranteed, offering a reliably mouth watering experience. The elote corn, a notable mention, stands out for its exceptional flavour. However, the limted operating hours of Sacred Tum Tacos can be a source of frustration for me whilst craving Glasgow's best tacos, often finding the establishment closed when the mood for a taco feast strikes!!!

Drove 30 min on a Saturday at 6.30pm to find it closed.

The courgette and pea tacos and the fish tacos were great, and by far our favourite. We tried the others and, while tasty, they had too much liquid and disintegrated while we ate them. I think they need less liquid, or to double wrap them.

I have no idea why the reviews for this place are so good. It's a bit expensive, but that's probably to be expected. Importantly the food was very mediocre - bland carnitas, served cold, on a soggy and falling-apart tortilla which was clearly not homemade. Burrito was nice but expensive for what was 80% rice. None of it was bad, but it certainly was not worth the money. The menu is not up-to-date on either price or offerings. It's a bad day when I feel like I could have made better (admittedly for much more money) myself at home.

Web-site shows indoor seating. There isn't any. No outdoor seating either. Had to picnic with small grand-daughter on park bench, which made the logistics difficult. The menu is much more limited than shown online. Service was prompt. Some items tasty and manageable as a picnic, but one lacked flavour, was cold, and the very small pancake shredded as I tried to pick it up. Potato "wedges" are halved potatoes, difficult to share, stayed hot much longer than the rest of the food, but well-cooked.

Best Mexican/tacos in Glasgow! All freshly made in house and you can taste the difference. I had the chicken and fish tacos with a side of there potatoes. Was all amazing would highly recommend. All the staff were really nice and the prices were reasonable compared to some other wannabe Mexicans popping up!

Best authentic tacos in the city! I wish they had more of a sitting area. But it’s great on a sunny day as the park is nearby and you can take your tacos and enjoy them outdoors.

Tasty? Yes! Value for money? NO! A chicken burrito on the menu was £8.50 Must be a very old menu as my husband was charged £10.50!!!! Chicken taco was tiny and cost £7.00! Had better starters in nice restaurants for that money.

Food is fantastic a solid 10/10, the fish tacos are especially good! The reason for the 3/5 is I think it is totally ridiculous that they have closed for the winter. As a loyal customer I really miss their food and it is very disappointing and actually just annoying. My only other criticism is the prawn tacos you literally get a single prawn which is a bit miserable, albeit they are very nice.

Best tacos in Glasgow, lovely chefs, great merch (Mexican sauces, cornmeal, etc). I got the chipotle chicken tacos. Gluten free.

Fish tacos are incredible. So much flavour in them. Definitely so much better than other fish tacos in Glasgow.

Got the pork burrito, was the best thing I’ve eaten in a while, demolished it in about a minute

Love this place overall, great, friendly service, the corn & fish tacos are brilliant, only criticism is the tacos themselves. Walked no more than 2 mins to QP & the chicken and chorizo tacos essentially disintegrated. Amazing flavours but defeats the purpose of street food when the tacos quickly end up a bit of a soggy (but tasty) mess! Either another thin taco to catch the filling or having them slightly thicker would help. One prawn on chorizo & prawn tacos is a bit of a let down also... still love it overall but probably wouldn't order these again.

Food was quite nice, but myself and a friend ordered the same thing at the same time, I got mine about 5 mins before him and my portion was genuinely half the size? I can deal with a little variation but I just felt a bit ripped off Edit: they offered a refund and never actually delivered it. Left it 2 weeks and followed up but no dice.

Absolutely love the food from these guys! Extremely tasty. The fish tacos and the corn are to die for!! Worth standing waiting at the hatch :)

Wayyyyy over priced for what tou get. The potatoes were really good but the taccos looked alot better than they tasted to he honest. Under seasoned and the tortillas were a little bit stale, I'd give this place a miss

Best tacos in Glasgow the flavours are incredible. I've been meaning to try sacred tum tacos for ages and can't believe what I've been missing out on. Tried the baja fish, corn elotes and chorizo verde and they were all outstanding, my favourite was the chorizo verde it was absolutely bursting with flavour. The only slight criticism would be that the tacos could be doing with double tortillas as they're very thin and fall apart pretty easy when loaded with the filling which means eating with your hands is pretty much a no go.

Having lived in Mexico for 16 years, I can say that these are the most authentic and excellent tacos I have tried in Glasgow. Way to go! Plus, Los postres are 👌 top notch El pastel de las tres leches is out of this world! It will be great to have a wee wood shelf where you can eat standing there 👍

Collected some great freshly made tacos tonight. Awesome flavours and great value for money. And a real friendly bunch they are too 👌🏼I’ll be back !

I don't understand the pricing of tacops. The menu price is for 2 but if you order 2 different tacos you don't pay half of each you pay for 2 of the most expensive. They should just make the menu price for 1 like every other taco place in the world.

I travel 60 mile round trip for these tacos and burritos and it's worth it every time. Just tried the black pudding breakfast burrito and it was a joy. Best tacos and burritos I've had in Scotland by a long way.

Overpriced, underwhelming taste, and far too long a wait time for Mexican food.

Eaten from here a few times and its always delicious! But, equally as outstanding is the service which is so friendly! One of my favourite take-away places for sure

Dropped in cos I was passing and was BLOWN AWAY by the lovingly made imaginatively seasoned authentic chorizo verde burrito. I will be BACK. Just wish they delivered 🤷‍♂️

Great authentic South American food!

Decent burrito with some good flavours, however, there was a sizeable piece of chicken cartilage in my burrito.

A little on a pricier side but absolutely delicious. Burritos are a meal, tacos are just a bit of a snack.

Very friendly and good service, good food and reasonable prices. Ordered a watermelon aqua fresca (they also had mango), fish taco and churros. All fresh and excellent flavours and didn't take long to receive my order. Had a fabulous lunch in the sun at Queens Park just down the road.

Absolutely love Sacred Tum. I go frequently and have never had a bad meal. Great selection and they are always adding and changing things. Far and away the best tacos I've had.

Love Mexican so went and got a Chorizo Verde and a drink. Not cheap so I was expecting a lot. And was not disappointed. It was enormous, crammed with filling, bursting with flavour. Polished it off and walked down for another (only in Glasgow for the weekend) as I wanted to try the pork. Oh man, this thing was like crispy Mexican. Roast pork and plenty of it. Finished it off and. Ow feel like I might explode. Cannot fault the food. So delicious

Very popular Southside spot on a sunny day. The vegetarian tacos are good although smallish portions, so would recommend getting a side with them. Good, quick and friendly service.

This place is awesome. Unbelievable tacos and great service. Grab yourself some tacos (Chorizo Verde are unreal!) and head to the park close by for a hell of a lunch!

This Taco is amazing , great food , great tasting burritos and the wraps come in a variety of spicy chicken, spicy fish , spicy pulled pork , spicy prawns, and spicy lamb , but you can have them without the spice ! Absolutely delicious 😋

Pre-ordered a carnitas taco on the website and it was ready and waiting as soon as I arrived. Added on one of the Mexican sodas which are a nice touch. The pork in the taco was delicious and the taco was tasty, if a little dry. There was some salsa verde but for me still a little dry. Not cheap for the portion size but no worse than most other places. Will definitely go back to try other things on the menu - the fish tacos and roast potatoes look great.

Absolute waste of money. Tiny, (and I mean tiny) portions. Literally two bites and they're gone. No taste whatsoever. I get the feeling they don't get a lot of repeat business. Also, witnessed one of the food handlers shoving food from a plate into her month, no gloves on either. Avoid!!!!!

Extremely bad, seriously bad. No taste, no flavour. The squash taco is a waste of money. The fish taco was awful... all I could taste in both was parsley. Which is strange, because parsley isn't listed as an ingredient. Also, the fact it's in a packed Asain area and Do Not offer Halal is mind blowing (disappointed in you folks, cater to your demographic). I've just read a few other reviews about no taste so I can't be totally alone in my view. I will not spend my money here again.. and Glasgow is still lacking a decent Mexican place.

I’ve eaten a lot of tacos in my time and these were one of the worst. It’s an easy snack to make but these guys haven’t grasped it. I had the pork carnitas, it was lacking in flavour and the hand rolled taco was too thick. Perhaps the others might be better. At £7.50(festival prices) the portions were tiny. I Will not be back.

Authentic Mexican cuisine; short wait for food, delicious drinks & brownies. The staff are friendly & the recent addition of a slushy machine is phenomenal - favourite's definitely watermelon!

I sampled the chicken taco today and it was delicious--very fresh!

Visited for the first time recently. Had the vegan celeriac taco and the carrot one made vegan too. Both totally delicious and really flavoursome. Lovely waitress even offered to try and veganise their corn side dish for me and in hind sight j wish I'd said yes!

Great Food, authentic AF, great people running it as well. But it gets 5 stars due to the excellent ‘Trainspotting Orange’ vinyl flooring, which is so clean you could shoot up on it.

I was really really looking forward to a good Taco place opening near where I live... I had beef cheek and chicken taco... Disappointing and lacking in any real taste. The 2 I had where really really small. I did not really enjoy the experience at all.. We where going to start with 2 and then try some others but myself wife and 2 kids all where really disappointed with our servings.. This in no way is my previous experience of tacos that I had in Mexico. I can only hope they correct their portion size and recipe. Because I d still love there to be a good taco place on the southside.

Excellent place to stop for a quick bite. The beef, chicken and chorizo tacos are very tasty. Another good addition to the local food scene.

Boom. Delicious tacos. Clear challenger to El Cartel in Edinburgh for best tacos in Scotland and up there with the best you'd get in Southern Cali or the place itself. Price is insane vs quality. Enjoy!

Lovely, fresh tacos. The meats were nicely cooked, and the fillings matched them perfectly. Definitely recommended. Also very reasonably sized, and reasonably priced!
