Visitamos aquí una comida de cumpleaños sorpresa para mi esposa y 14 otros. La comida era de un alto nivel, con un fuerte hincapié en la presentación moderna. Fueron muy serviciales con mis peticiones, ya que era una noche de la semana me dejaron Personalizar un menú a los gustos de mi esposa. La Merluza era fantástico, y pudin excelente. Las camareras hicieron un trabajo fantástico. Mantener el buen trabajo todos nosotros, este es un estándar que han perdido en la zona de fraserburgh por un tiempo, y sin duda volveremos.

Fuimos allí por un capricho y muy contentos de hacerlo. La comida era fantástica, así como el servicio. Nos volveremos allí.

Popped by for lunch for our first visit to the Fitty but safe to say it won't be long until we find an excuse to go back. Great food, friendly attentive staff and well priced.

Only 2 other people in the restaurant but the food took about 35 mins to appear, was overcooked. Restaurant was very cold; was glad I wore a scarf and jacket. Won't be back.

Been here 3 times already and loved it every time. Going back again tonight and can't wait to try it again. Lovely atmosphere, and fantastic food!

Lovely decor nice and airy feel. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The meal was absolutely gorgeous, for our starter we had scallops cooked to perfection with a succulent moist black pudding bon bon on pea puree delicious. The main was also to die for monk fish in light breadcrumbs with chunky chips the monk was so light it was the best monk fish I have tasted hats off to a brilliant chef. My only criticism is "please teach your staff how to serve wine" instead of putting the bottle in the middle of the table to help ourselves, at least ask if the diners would like to taste the wine. Other than the wine handling a terrific meal and would definitely return and recommend to others.

We had booked a table for our anniversary back in August. When we arrived tonight, we found out the restaurant was closed. There is no notice of this on their Facebook page. We were told they had tried to contact us, but neither of us had any missed calls or messages. We were offered a bar menu, which is not we hoped for on our anniversary. Very disappointed as we were really looking forward to it after hearing so much good reviews. Luckily there was another restaurant in the village or else we would have been stranded in the rain.

The restaurant only opened a few months back, and is an attractive, light and airy place to eat, with some interesting decorative art work on the walls and a well stocked bar. The young ladies serving us were enthusiastic and very eager to be helpful: they timed their interventions very well, not too pushy and not neglectful. The lunch menu for this Sunday afternoon was really good: and you cannot beat it for value - to have 1 course was just under £11 and two courses just under £12!! I chose the Cullen Skink with some trepidation because it's not a soup that just every chef gets right. This one did - 100%. The fish and potato mix was perfect and the flavour and texture were excellent. My husband had the prawn cocktail - chock full of prawns and according to him one of the best sauces he's ever had. When it came to the main course, we dropped one of the possible 5 stars we would otherwise have given the restaurant, because both my friend and I who had the steak & ale & mushroom pie agreed that the mashed potato and cabbage which accompanied it were far too dry and rather tasteless. The meat itself was melt-in-the-mouth, and tasted delicious. To give credit where due, when we were asked if everything was ok at the end of our meal we mentioned our disappointment with the vegetables and the staff apologised and seemed really upset that they hadn't done better with them. I'm pretty certain our comments were taken on board, and other people will benefit from that. My husband meanwhile was in transports of culinary deight: he'd chosen beer battered haddock with home made chips and tartare sauce, and said it tasted every bit as fantastic as it looked on presentation. The batter was incredibly light and crispy, while the chips were like potato wedges deep fried, and the sauce was clearly home made. He's already planning a return visit, and I'll be happy to go along, perhaps for an evening meal as the copy of the menu which I brought away with me looks very interesting indeed.

Had a really great meal food and service were excellent, something on menu for everyone, would recommend this restaurant .

This was a real find and we can't recommend it highly enough. The Sunday lunch menu offered 1, 2 or 3 courses, each with at least 5 choices plus specials. We opted for 2 courses for £11.50 and it was exceptionally good value. Portions were generous and food was cooked well The young staff couldn't do enough for us and this was ovarall a fabulous dining experience

The food in this small restaurant is very good. Lots of fresh fish. Sunday lunch was absolutely wonderful

Best restaurant for miles, food is to die for and always something exciting on the menu, staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help and the surroundings and ambience are brilliant. Best place in the north east as far as I can see. Love it.

I just love finding places like the Fitty Restaurant hidden away in a beautiful coastal setting. The staff were friendly and professional and worked well together. The food was awesome, fresh locally sourced and cooked to perfection. I had seafood and it was sublime, I'm a fan and will be back.

First visit here in a long time new owners .Food was delicious .we all enjoyed our food .home made oatcakes and shortbread mmm. Smoked mussels chefs own excellent .Wines very good .Staff very nice and welcoming Stylish décor very clean and spacious .Well impressed with chefs . Well worth a visit will be spreading the word .

Suspect that Happyfoodman007 is from a rival restaurant trying (and obviously failing) to put this place down. Completely out of kilt with the reality of how good this place is. Another visit to this place has confirmed how good it is. In terms of everything. Food, service, fresh clean decor. Excellent.Some restaurants should be ashamed of themselves in putting false negative accounts against rival restaurants. If they feel under pressure from the quality of this place they should spend their time upping there game instead!

My and my lad went to Fitty to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. The food was absolutely amazing and the waitresses were very kind and welcoming

lunch here was fantastic,nice selection to chose from, the place has a nice friendly atmosphere very nice modern dining room.and lovely pleasant staff.

Went to The Fitty Restaurant and what a treat, never tasted anything such like it. Brilliant food, brilliant polite staff. if you would like a great meal would recommend it. I go every couple of weekends when my husbands home and never gets old, selection of great cooked meals, followed by starters and dessert, good prices also. So if you want a cooked, tasty meal go to The Fitty!! X

Have to say I am not one for posting reviews only read them but felt as a regular customer of this restaurant as a hotel guest I can only praise them for their efforts. The decor, food and service are first class and the quality shines through as reading other reviews from this site and other media sites show - seems a pity that some reviewers (maybe competitors) feel a need to use these media forums to vent their inadequacys.

Firstly we randomly came for dinner, as we drove over,the view was amazing driving along the road, then we got to rose hearty and we notice the place, we all thought this can't be it??? But right enough the big sign said it was. So apon entry we noticed the decor, not a lot of money had been spent on it clearly, looked dated and same old same old, we are used to more modern decor I guess,firstly menu on the Facebook site looked terrible but we hoped for some specials and got some, the specials was ok nothing great but menu was bad, food took a while and overpriced for the quality of food but we paid and left but we won't come back as we feel it was just ok service,young girls working who are inexperienced but they did good, but we was able to tell, all in all not for us we will stick to nicer places.

Dropped by, hungry for lunch and spotting this from the road. Inside was a beautifully decorated restaurant. The Cullen Skink and wedge of bread were delicious, as was our second course of delicious paninis, although if we’d more time we might have ordered more. The waitress was most pleasant and efficient. Definitely a good dining spot.

Stopped off here for some lunch whilst touring the coastline. The outside of the restaurant doesn't do justice to the inside, service or standard of food served here.A delightful attentive waitress served us in what appears to be fresh decor throughout. We only had soup and panini's but they were both very tasty and perfectly served. The mains that were being served at the other tables looked good and complements could be heard from their tables as well.Will be returning again if in the area.
