Caira's Cafe in Fife

Lovely food and a very friendly young lady running the cafe. Prices are very reasonable. This is a review for the same address but new owners and called now callef Chinwags

We had a brekkie in this little cafe went down amazingly great value for a full breakfast with coffee very friendly owner couldn't do enough for us just a really nice relaxed breakfast portions great 😀 especially if you are hungry like we were would recommend it if you ever looking for food in Kirkcaldy .

Really good value for £5. The food wasn’t gourmet, but it was good. What can you expect for £5? The staff were pleasant and happy to oblige in ever way that they could. I definitely recommend...

Pub next door were not doing breakfasts due to annual leave. This was recommended to us and boy we were so glad. Lovely extensive menu. We all chose the mini breakfast and I asked for a swap of an item. This was done and I must say pot of tea was great with a free refill. Breakfast was very tasty and well cooked

The employees were very unsanitary and were not wearing gloves and a hairnet, resulting in me and my partner both finding hairs in our food.

We were going to go to Rejects for breakfast but they don't open up on a Sunday till 11am, however on our way up St. Clair st then onto Rosslyn st we noticed Caira's Cafe was open so we parked up and went in. Its quite small but can comfortably seat about 20 people at the table and chairs. We ordered our food which came out soon after. I've got to say its one of the best breakfasts we've had in a while, it was well cooked and tasted great not greasy in the slightest. The server was polite, prompt and well presented. Great wee cafe.

Bought two mini fish suppers here. There was a speedy turn round of customers and the suppers tasted great and the quantity enough to satisfy.

Excellent long term well established cafe, that keeps up the food delivery, quality, and consistancy that the customer expects.

Nipped in as the dog was at the vets so had a bit of time to kill. Menu looks good and very good value for money. Supposed to be a family business but only one woman working who obviously forgot to tell her face to look happy! No smile and no small talk, in fact I’d say bordering on rude! We decided on eggs benedict. Looked really good! Muffin was obviously frozen, bacon was ok. 1 of the eggs perfect, the other not so much. The hollandaise sauce tasted like warm salad cream. Yes I ate it and did not complain for 2 reasons: 1 you get what you pay for 2 I don’t think the lady serving would’ve cared! The reviews on Facebook tell me the complete opposite to my feelings so hope it was just a bad day for the lady serving. The man sitting behind me complained about his dirty cup and she said “ oh it’s not dirty I spilt the coffee walking over to you” kinda lets you know what you’re in for. Cheap yes but not cheerful. Newsagents right next door are turning into a cafe I would’ve gone in here had I noticed beforehand. I suggest everyone else goes there instead of here!

Dropped in this morning for breakfast. Great food. Friendly service. I recommend this cozy cafe for a quick bite to eat.

Been coming here for years. Great food,great price,great staff,great menu,coffee is amazing and no parking problems.

Friendly, cherey service. They have special offers, different for every day, to save you money but I had a craving for egg, sausage, bacon and nothing else. My wife wanted a bacon roll, and we both washed it down with a cup of tea. Good, tasty, freshly-made simple food in a clean environment at a decent price with a smile.

Probably the best in Scotland, if not the UK. Efficient, well trained friendly staff Highly recommended.

Went in for hot filled rolls for myself and some workmates. Ignored initially then eventually got served truly the worst square sausage I have ever had, it was soft and tasteless. Got a good reputation so will try again in case it was an off day.

We went there for breakfast this morning. It was lovely the food taste great there was enough space for us all including a buggy we were even surprised by the little kid corner with toys and books. We will be back

Good wee cafe , they've just finished refurbishing it . Good value for money I had the big breakfast with tea and toast for £4-50 . Mini breakfast is £3-50

Great wee cafe, nothing pretentious about it, two large breakfasts were delicious and a good mug of frothed coffee, and at last a breakfast with no tomatoes :-D, will definitely use again

Had the scrambled egg and toast was class. Very good price , very clean and a friendly sand warm atmosphere. Food is exquisite. Would most definitely recommend.

Great little cafe for breakfast and a coffee, along with good service. Quiet and peaceful if you've got work or writing to do or just want to go out for a read of a book to pass the time while waiting for your motorbike!

Back in the Gallatown after being abroad for many years it was great to see Cairas .I had a lovely meal and the waitress was friendly.For food at a reasonable price its well worth a visit

Fast, cheap and cheerful. All your usual cafe drinks and grub at great prices. Seemed popular with the locals which must be a good sign. Good coffee.

Caira's Cafe is my first stop every day of the working week for my must have coffee. Its the best by far and i drink at least 6 cups a day! The food choice is huge, everything made to order so it's all fresh and served very quickly. The staff cannot be faulted, lovely girls that work hard. I ring my order in every day and it's ready for pick up promptly. Cant beat service like that! The perfect place to go.

I had chicken curry with chips which was delicious!! Great value for money, great spot as its away from the busy high street! Had the best milky coffee also and a read at the daily paper - supplied by the cafe on a daily basis. Staff were very friendly & helpful. I visit this cafe at least twice a week now, it's that good!! Oh and homemade cakes also!!! I highly recommend to all!!!

Originally I only stopped in for a salad roll, but ended up staying for a full lunch which was delicious. A complete cross-section of patrons and a busy take-away service.

Had a toastie with a lovely salad, the kids had some honemade stoves and my partner had macaroni. The food was great and cheap too. The atmosphere was calm, nice to be away from the high street. Would definitely recommend, 5 stars.
