Food is absolutely horrendous and extremely overpriced. Got crispy shredded honey chilli sauce. What I got was a birds eye battered chicken breast chopped up in a red sauce.

The food was great. The place is very clean, prices very reasonable, we have been told for some meal deal by the front guy. Staff very friendly and helpfull! (one of the group forgot something and they kept it untill next day) Well done !

Very good wraps and they don't cost much, also a very wide choice of sandwiches, baguettes, sandwiches and bagels. They also have desserts. You can't sit except for two tables outside and there is no toilet.
Excellent Coffee! We ordered a Cortado and a Flat White. Both tasted amazing nice depth of flavour, creamy finish, no bitterness. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re into your coffees.
¡Slaintje!
Food was average. The works burger bun was soggy and was dished up with a few corn chips and lettuce. My wife had an American hotdog which was nice enough
Stopped on our way to Edinburgh and what a great find. Just a few tables and lovely home cooked Sunday lunch. It was lamb with roast potatoes and nicely cooked veg. We had rhubarb crumble and custard to follow which was also top notch.
Service was spot on and extremely friendly and I think it was his wife in the kitchen. This sort of place is dying out and it's such a shame - good honest home-cooked food at a reasonable price.
Give Hawick a miss (not difficult) and give this place a try.
Great breakfast, good choice (even for vegetarians/vegans) and friendly helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast - next time we might even try the breakfast cocktail …
The quality of the fish and chips was amazing! Freshest fish, really light, crisp batter and chips to die for. Lovely, friendly counter staff. Everything cooked to order.
The location, the restaurant, the staff and the food are all excellent. My partner and I had a truly wonderful Sunday lunch and each dish (cheese souffle, John Dory and blueberry pana cotta) worthy of 10 out of 10. scores. My only concern is that the 25% increase in the price may deter future customers.
A cornucopia of foods on offer at this deli - it would make any self catering holiday in the area a high class culinary experience - excellent range of take away sandwiches made before your very eyes
Everyone at this cafe was very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. Keith, in particular, went above and beyond, offering an alternative salad as special had just sold out. He then very kindly gave us a lift back to Portavadie when we discovered there was no longer a taxi service in the town.
