Our family of nine enjoyed lunch here today. Good food at reasonable prices in pleasant surroundings. Helpful friendly staff. We've been before and we'll be back.
After a long day of travel and wanting sustenance of a vegan variety, my daughter found this site listed and off we went. It was an amazing little restaurant down an alley and we sat outside in the nippy weather served by the charming staff. I had the "fish" and chips and it was delicious jack fruit with a layer of nori coated in crumbs and fried perfectly. My daughter had the lasanga and though we were warned not to get more...we did...and couldn't eat it all. We would gladly returne but were told that they were losing their chef and would close. I saw their site still listed here so decided to post a review hoping that others can and will enjoy this restaurant.

Shambles, don't bother!
Was told 45mins, finally got our order 1hour 30mins later after calling twice and being told it was on its way.
Food was cold and tasteless, very disappointed!

Amazing food
Presentation and taste outstanding
Plenty choice for us vegetarians.
Staff very welcoming.
Well organized and felt very safe
Very high standard of food and health and safety to highest degree during this pandemic.
A really large group of us with kids booked in for a late lunch. The menu options were comforting pub grub style which were great for everyone. We were well looked after by the lovely staff were lovely and it was very reasonably priced.
Down a wynd so dont miss it! Great for lunch breakfast or cuppa and cake. Really friendly service.
Great choices available for vegetarians. Quick table service and downstairs and upstairs tables.
I thought long and hard about whether to leave this review but our experience in the cafe wasn’t good. Positives: food was great, staff were friendly. However, the reason for the poor rating is that a dog, presumably the owners was a pest throughout our visit. It roamed free, in and out of the kitchen, was begging at our table, constantly circling us and squeezing through the chair legs. The final straw was when the dog then jumped up, had paws on the table and almost grabbed our food. Completely unacceptable and totally unhygienic. My wife had to shout at the dog to get down but staff were oblivious. It’s one thing a dog being in a cafe but it shouldn’t, in my view be allowed to roam free being a pest. A shame as we would have liked to have visited the Yellow Hare again but it just wasn’t a pleasant experience in that respect.
My dinner partner and I had an excellent informal evening catching up. The food was excellent. I had the best Dhansak I've tasted in a long time, my dining partner thought his Garlic Chilli dish was superb. Well recommended and a wonderful bonus to have such quality near where we live.
By far and away the very best Beef Stew I have ever tasted. The decor might be a bit dated, but the food was excellent. The after-dinner coffee was drunk in the lounge, which was decorated in the style of a Scottish country house.
Walked into the tiny Store in staffin on Skye looking for a pork pie and left with the most amazing takeaway curry from Dave the postmaster and his lovely wife!
This inn looks closed when first approached, however upon closer inspection I found out it opens at 5pm (1700hrs). It is good traditional very well cooked food. The service was pleasant and attentive. The portions were very generous with us having to have a carry out for our sticky toffee pudding dessert. My wife drove so I had a couple of beers from their extensive range This is a very good value venue and I would strongly recommend a visit.
Stayed here on tues 28th May great expierance
We phoned late in the afternoon to ask if they had
A room available for that evening, thankfully, they did
We were well looked after by the gentleman on reception
who really was excellent, and
Really helpfull our room was spotless and very quiet no outside noise but the real
Highlight of our stay was the breakfast whilst it was a buffet all the produce was of a high quality and piping hot
Nothing was dried out
Full marks to the breakfast team probably the best buffet breakfast we have had
For many a long time
On checking out there was a discrepancy with our bill someone had put drinks on our room number however yet again, the lady on reception dealt with the issue
Without any fuss
In conclusion we really enjoyed our visit and will stay there again
