Skirlies in Renfrewshire

Mi grupo de jugadores de mesa (Renfrewshire Board Gamers) y yo fuimos aquí para jugar juegos de mesa el lunes por la noche y nos lo pasamos muy bien. Como el café no está abierto para cenar por la noche, teníamos el lugar para nosotros y era perfecto para jugar a nuestros juegos de mesa. Algunos de nosotros comimos comida caliente (queso macarrones con papas fritas, papas fritas cargadas, una hamburguesa) y algunos de nosotros comimos los deliciosos pasteles caseros horneados. Tenía la tarta de queso nutella y estaba deliciosa. El servicio era fantástico también. ¡Espero volver el mes que viene para jugar más juegos de mesa y comer más comida deliciosa!

Hermoso pequeño café para el almuerzo, la comida es increíble y el personal es genial también. Defo merece una visita. He probado las tostadas y horneado patatas y sopa y eran todos increíbles.

Desayunamos esta mañana, el desayuno estaba bien, excepto los enlaces salchicha, no tan buena calidad, buen vaso grande de zumo de naranja incluido, la tostada francesa de mi esposa no tenía mucho huevo, apenas mojado. el café era EXCELENTE. en general bien, pero los pasteles estaban horribles obtuvimos 2 pasteles crujientes de arroz , para llevar, bastante rancio y duro , solo una cobertura muy dulce, Binned, realmente decepcionado en pasteles, especialmente se cobra casi £ 4 cada uno. una lástima porque el personal era muy agradable

Fantastic staff, opened especially on a bank holiday to accommodate our group. Best of food (all freshly made on site) , and best of service. Cannot fault this place at all. At one point we had total silence as the food was brought out and we were all getting stuck in - which descended into loud hapy chatter, all the while the staff running about making sure we all had enough (and we had LOADS!!). One of the best wee places in Paisley

Arlene and Angela went above and beyond for our group afternoon tea. Excellent selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, scones and cakes. Everything was delicious. the service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic value and quality.

Have the best selections of cakes i always leave with one the caramel cake is onr f thr best! Ive had many food items from here from breakfast to lunch even tried the later night menu with steak pies and stovies! If you havent tried you have to pop in and try!!! I started using Skirlies deliveries, amongst others,during lock down' partly to support local businesses who were likely to be struggling. This is the only place I still order from. I've never had reason to complain about the food. On the odd occasion when they can't fully fill an order, because they have been so busy, there's always a phone call asking if you'd like to swap something or change/cancel your order. Great customer service. I love the breakfasts here, my payday weekend treat. The cakes are delicious and fresh. I've never had a reason to complain about anything, except not being able to eat everything I ordered!

A group of 7 of us went here for the afternoon tea and all I can say is wow! We got to pick 2 sandwich fillings each and all the baking was homemade on the premises and delicious. We even got asked in advance if there was anything in particular we wanted. There was so much food that we even took some home with us. Sandwiches, sausage rolls, lovely light and fluffy scones, mini empire biscuits, sponge cake, millionaires brownie. Even the one lady who ordered the gluten free option got a fantastic selection too. Amazing value for money and the staff could not have been more helpful. We’ll definitely be back soon for more!

Swift efficient service. Brilliant chat and importantly great coffee! Come in here most Saturday mornings. Definitely recommend

Popped in for cakes to take away. There was a nice atmosphere and clearly a few regulars in. Most cakes are tray bakes. No prices advertised on the display window that i could see. We ordered a ginger cake and a square of something with no name. It was really nice tho, very sweet. However, £5! For 2 small cakes/bakes. I appreciate that costs r rising for retailers but prices should be clearly advertised as i felt too awkward to return them.

Visited with the kids after shopping. Had the salt and chilli chicken wrap and it was amazing. Kids loved it too. The caramel cake is the best I’ve had and we’ve even ordered the caramel cake numbers for my husbands birthday cake!

Customer service was shocking, rude female serving. Quality of food was so bad had a breakfast and was swimming in grease. Ended up not eating much of it, save yourself and go else where so many better places in Paisley.

Well seeing a few Facebook posts thought we would try this place ,most expensive lunch for what we got chilli and a steak pie could have eaten cheaper at countless places. Service slow wouldn't recommend unless your second name is Gates. Food was OK clearly microwaved and not freshly made

Having just driven over 90 miles to attend an event in Paisley my partner & I were in need of sustenance. Skirlies was the first cafe we came to soon after leaving the car park in Cross Street. We were impressed by the choice on the menu. My partner plumped for the Bumper [cooked] Breakfast whilst I had the Vegetarian [cooked] Breakfast. Both breakfasts were well cooked & well presented and much more importantly very tasty.

Just a typical greasy spoon, Food wasn't great service terrible very long wait Staff very dour Don't waste time unless you're after cake which is best thing

A friend ordered me one this year have had before But this years was a major let down Fell apart and skin had burn spots on it and mouldey flour. Don't Know what changed but never again Skirlies cafe has seriously went down hill in the last year Staff mostly new and not interested in previous qualities off food and drink

Tried 1 of their Bubble waffles, not nice at all to much salt burnt outside raw in middle, caramel cake was OK, Cappuccino had no foam and burnt milk , Service lacking Would not go back

I'm lucky enough to have this amazing little cafe right on my doorstep and have been eating out a lot here recently. The Food and atmosphere is simply amazing, the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. What makes Skirlies so special though is their cakes, all homemade and the selection is huge, I'm still working my way through them. Coffee is the biggest attraction to this place. Paisley has its share of excellent coffee houses, with Blend and Brew being two of my other favourites. However Skirlies pips them both, the espresso is always smooth, the milk is never too hot and you get the best little ferns in the foam! Still no clover though. Personal favourites are the American Muffin meal, followed by the Bounty Cheesecake and washed down with a Latte!

Excellent cafe and friendly staff food we ordered was excellent and well prepared. Selection of home made cakes means the diet goes out the window. ENJOY

Hubby and me stopped for a cake box and never felt like saying just leave it .when picking cakes all seemed like a hassle. Cakes weren't bad price ok but service needs huge improvements

Number one stop for breakfast and lunch! Nothing is ever a bother for your request. The food is so tasty and afternoon tea is just a delight. Highly recommend the caramel cake, best in the town.

waited 40 mins in the cold for a cold sandwich, finally got the Sandwich and it was only a small piece of meat in it. The place also looked rather dirty inside the shop

Went to Skirlies Cafe with my partner, waited over 45 min for 2 cold rolls, before being racially abused by the owner STEVEN PEPPER, who called us “English c*nts” and was extremely aggressive for no apparent reason other then we are English. We were so upset we called police. DO NOT USE THIS CAFE!

Best cakes in scotland!!! And I've tried alot! Old school Carmel cake is amazing. Best cheesecakes and pineapple slice is too die for. Best scottish breakfast you will find!!

Fuimos para el desayuno con mis amigos del trabajo. El café es precioso y una distribución muy bien. El personal es amable y servicial y educado. El menú ofrece una buena variedad y buen diseño. Stopped in for some brunch. Very nice meal and great value menu. Recommended as a great value place with home cooked produce.

Nos alojamos en Paisley para unos días y acabé comiendo brunch aquí todos los días. Los rollos son geniales y si quieres un desayuno escocés (y por qué no?), entonces este es el lugar. Mi hija tenía rollitos de salchicha plaza todos los días, mientras que la construida mi camino a un desayuno completo en forma de rollos de tocino y morcilla. (Nota que el budín escocés negro no tiene el trozos de grasa que te en un flan más meridional).

Just noticed this place is on t/a without shadow of a doubt the best bfast you'll find always awesome place is always spotless staff always friendly

La chica que lo maneja es fabuloso. Me encantan las cajas de ensaladas. Pastel de caramelo es para morirse. Me encanta la sopa y la oferta sandwiche. Yo también he tenido la lasaña Dios mío. Lasaña mejor que he probado en mi vida. Es un deber. Hacen un montón y me encanta sentarse a disfrutar un café. Me gustaría que se abrieron más tiempo.

He estado en Skirlies en varias ocasiones y realmente siento que es uno de los mejores cafés en paisley. La cocción de casa es excepcional y siempre tienen un montón de platos deliciosos para ofrecer junto a una taza de café. Una gran relación calidad-precio!
