An absolute gem of a takeaway just off Victoria road. It’s the red shop beside Greggs. We had the chicken and black pudding buns that were cooked perfectly and so tasty!! Quick service as it was quiet, but would be totally willing to wait during busier times.

Nanika is a lovely restaurant. The food is amazing. They also run Only Buns on Allison Street which is also great. They are quite small and often busy, which is to be expected as the food is hot and salty and good value. Excellent experience.

Nanika is one of our favourite restaurants in the south side. Lost count of the number of times I’ve had the katsu and it’s consistently good. Bao Buns also are great. I’ve always taken-away as it’s a small unit

I’ve ordered Nanika quite a few times as takeaway over the past year or so, and I promise you it’s fantastic! I’ve tried a few of the mains and they have all been good sized portions and delicious especially the ‘Sort of Korean Stew’ and ‘Salt and Chilli Tofu’. The bao buns are also super tasty. I don’t think Nanika gets enough praise, it is easily one of the best takeaway options in the Southside.

We live across the road from this place and keep meaning to try it... so finally did for my lockdown birthday meal as a takeaway order. We ordered a LOT as we wanted to try as much as possible and enjoyed every bite! The bao buns were so gorgeous, the the prawn fries were fiery and delicious, the red Thai chicken curry amazing and the chicken and tofu sandwiches with peanut butter super tasty too! Also had the seaweed side. Everything tasted so fresh and so many layers to the flavours. Can’t wait to order from here again.

Lockdown takeaway. Ordered pork belly and black pudding buns. I had the black pudding which I was unsure of the thought but so glad I got it. Was amazing. Assured the pork belly was wonderful as well. I had the Katsu for mains which for a takeaway was still crispy and the curry sauce is amazing. Two other orders were a Red Curry and Thai Pulled pork. Assured that both were magic and the left over red curry sauce was drank from the container. One of my favourite places in Glasgow - even in takeaway.

can honestly say this is in my top 5 favourite Glasgow restaurants. I absolutely love it. Food is delicious, comes out quick and it literally makes me feel happy. I come here at least 3 times a month. Not expensive at all. I'm also allergic to nuts and have had absolutely no problems - just need to avoid obvious nutty dishes. The XO pork ramen or Thai Pulled pork salad, the Fried Chicken bun or black pudding bun & the prawn fries are my go to ditches. (sorry if I've got the name of the dishes wrong - I tried) The restaurant is small, but if you're like me and socially awkward - the food comes quick enough that I've rarely ever had to share a table with another 2 people... Not that people aren't nice, I just don't want to stare into a strangers eyes while sucking a noodle.

Big bowls are delicious and appropriately seasoned but some sides are super super salty and perhaps a bit heavy on the msg. Which is a shame. Came home and had to down pints of water. Toning this down would enhance the natural flavours.

This was our first visit and we went earlyish on a Friday evening. Nanika is really small but we didn’t have to queue and the staff were really friendly, efficient and helpful. We ordered a vermicelli salad, katsu curry, spicy pork noodles and a couple of buns. Good sized portions and everything tasted amazing - the buns were incredible! We will definitely return and will take advantage of the takeaway option! Highly recommend!

We have literally left the place a hour ago and I felt compelled to write a review based on the experience we have just had. The food is incredible!!! We had the thai pulled pork, chicken katsu curry, black pudding bao and spicy cucumbers. Every single dish is so packed full of flavour, its honestly the best asian food ive ever eaten. We seen the review from Joanna Blythman and that woman honestly talks the biggest load of nonsense ever. Yes, the place is small but its advertised all over social media and you can evidently see this through the windows of the place. It's a fun environment with some decent tunes on in the background and who knows, you might meet some new people with the seating arrangements. I'd also like to point out that because of the size it means that people could be waiting outside to get seated, so please dont take the piss and dilly dally, let others in to enjoy the food and atmosphere. One last thing, my girlfriend has a nut allergy and hates it when restaurants make a fuss over her because shes allergic. The reply from the owner (see pic) completely helped her decide she was going to go. The not causing a fuss and hilarious reply helped set her mind at ease. We will be back.

Lovely produce and atmosphere with staff working really hard on Christmas eve when it's super busy at the counter. Shame the manager had to tell off the staff in front of a bunch of customers....not very Christmas spirit of her.

Restaurant doesn't take food allergies seriously. Ordered a family order on deliveroo and two items were cauliflower wings, one of which is gluten free and the geniuses who packaged the meal didn't mark the gluten free ones separately. How on earth are we supposed to know which one is safe when you send the gluten one and the gluten free in the same packaging, looking exactly the same. RESPONSE TO OWNER: I'm not convinced that they're both always gluten free as per your response. On Deliveroo you mark them separately, saying there is a gluten free option for this dish. Please see the photo. When both arrive in the same packaging and we check which is which with your team who don't care on the phone, the person with the allergy goes without.

The food here is terrific. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived very, very early in advance of joining friends for lunch and a very helpful waiter personally lead us to a local coffee house where we could wait until the table was ready. But the most important thing - the food is great. Try the sticky aubergines! And the lamb.
