Well, what can I say? Had a appointment at Catherine's of partick today with Roma.
My time spent there was fantastic, I went in with one dress in mind and came out with something totally different and I love it.
Roma was trying to assure me that what I thought would not suit me was absolutely perfect on me ❤️
I left the shop feeling happy and positive in myself.
Roma is an asset to your team, keep up the good work Roma.
I will post photos of today and the special day after it happens at the end of May 😀 xx
Visited for lunch with kids, good options on the menu for adults and children - food we ordered was very excellent. Provided pencils and colouring books to keep the kids occupied.
They also provided gluten free options and obviously had understanding of the issues as one of our group had celiac disease which was reassuring.
Service was excellent and friendly staff - definitely recommended.
A really cosy restaurant with a buzzing but informal atmosphere. Dog friendly which is great for walkers! We had a fantastic meal - great menu to choose from and really delicious food. The chicken burger was amazing - like a chicken schnitzel in a bun! Very friendly staff, great service and loads of nice local ales and gins to choose from. Would definitely recommend.
Stopped by here for lunch. Had the steak pie and a burger with haggis. Both plates were cleared. The steak is from a local butcher and just melted in the mouth alongside a delicious pastry. The chips were top tier. The burger was delicious with just enough of everything.
A lovely wee find and great, friendly service and good value.
I love supporting local businesses but the last few times I've visited have been very disappointing. Very overpriced (£5.05 for a hot chocolate with cream) especially as the quality is not of a high standard. Everything is underwhelming. I contacted the owners about price versus quality but heard nothing back so I am posting here instead.
This is one of those wee shops in a wee place that is just phenomenal!! I drive from Edinburgh to this shop because is it second to none!! Always stocked, delicious cakes aswell. I don’t often leave reviews because I’m really hard to please when it comes to service lol, the filling station deserve every word they are fantastic!! The ladies that work there are always banter too which makes it always a pleasure to go in.
There's something special about this place -- we entered with no idea - just wanted a coffee after driving from Edinburgh and looking at the abbey - then we were taken in by the menu and the homemade bread. - vegetarian and vegan options. Amazing coffee and home-cooked food and fresh sourdough, this place feels the love and care for its patrons. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely lunch in this small café. The chowder was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. They prefer payment by cash if possible. (They have a toilet for customer use, but it is at the back which is up a few steps.)
