One of the best Indian restaurants in Glasgow. Great food quality, amazing staff and very friendly owners. They can prepare all the dishes according to your taste buds and their prices are very reasonable. It's a must visit place for all Indianfood lovers. My best wishes to the establishment.

Waste of £50. Lamb chop starters were nice not putting that down however could be giving you more for the price. At least 4 instead of 3. Tandoori prawn main. 4 average sized prawns, ridiculous for the price. I got a garlic naan with this which was 100% a left over from a table as it had all been chopped up as if it was for a restaurant party. Cold and like cardboard. Not once has my naan been chopped up from this place. All in all I’d recommend looking elsewhere this place is mediocre food with a high price.

Was one of the best Indian restaurants in Glasgow, but after reopening recently with I believe new owners they've made changes and cut corners and I had the worst curry I've had in years. Start with the positives, veg pakora was lovely, as it always was & tandoori paneer was decent. Went downhill rapidly from there. Two veg dishes were just carrots and peas (probably from a packet) in lacklustre greasy sauce. No potato even or any other veg. Spinach paneer was bitter and bland, biryani sauce was a greasy soup (which went straight into the bin). Between 4 of us, half our food was uneaten cos it was so disappointing. None of us liked our mains and after years of going there were bitterly disappointed, I think perhaps they lost their chef post Covid and just had some intern trying to follow a recipe, and failing miserably.

What fantastic value for money, the portions are excellent and the food also excellent. Next time will try the restaurant for a dine in meal. So far best asian food in the area .Will definitely be back

One of the best Indian restaurants in Glasgow. From the food choices and its good portion, most of it is good for sharing. We enjoyed not only the food but the inviting place itself because of the accommodating staff. They have baby chairs if you have little ones. And good parking lot space.

Very impressed. I thought it might be a bit of a chain, funny setting in shopping parade by Waitrose. I was wrong. Lovely very comfortable setting, pleasant atmposphere, good menu, great quality food and really nice friendly service. Already looking forward to a return visit.

Best dining experience we have had in a very long time. Great staff who know their restaurant who know about the food they serve are happy to talk about their food and make recommendations. First class all round. It was a special occasion for us. Our double 60th birthday so glad we came here. Will be back soon.

I was on my tour of Scotland and came to Zyka for dinner. Everything was superb. Food is 10/10, service is 10/10, great atmosphere. What would have topped it is to serve something to wash our fingers after eating like a warm towel or tepid water bowl. Nevertheless, it’s a 5star from me.

We have just moved to the area and were in isolation for our 25th wedding anniversary yesterday.This rrestaurant delivered delicious food on time.It is the best Karahi and lamb Bhoona thatwe have had i,mn a long time The meat was tender. rice fluffy, spiced onion pickle absolutely tasty.It made our day special and we cannot wait to visit the restaurant ,Hopefully you are able to accommodate a disabled person Thank you

This was first time visiting zyka and got to say it was absolutely fantastic the service and food was brilliant I have been to some excellent Indian restaurants and most have been good but for me and my wife and 5 other friends they really made us feel so comfortable and everyone of the staff were all very good it was our friend George's birthday and they brought a cake out for him and sang happy birthday so thank yous so much I will 100 definitely be back

Not overly impressed as when we arrived, the greeter could not find my booking but as they had seated us in the bar area, there seemed to be no communication between the 2 areas. We felt we were being rushed as the waitresses kept coming to the table to either take our orders or ask if we were finished - the bar area was not busy with diners. Food was OK.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Paneer and lamb chops to start. Lamb saag ghosh and the tiger prawn special were delicious. Excellent garlic naan. Will be back

Tikka masala was actually a Korma 🤔 One of the draught Kingfisher taps was off but instead of switching it off they continued to serve it. The rest of the food was excellent but just the points above took the shine off.

Great place for drinks in the attractive bar area. The restaurant is also lovely and the currys are also the best in the area. Also can confirm orders delivered are just as good. Fantastic curry and the king prawns were like small lobster tails. Definitely recommend 5 stars all the way.

the service and attitude was absolutely appalling from over the phone and when I went in to the take away the food came to a total of £90 and once we got home they have forgotten parts of the meals and to spend that amount and to have gotten all the attitude and to have not got everything was such a hassle will not be back again

Good food but watch out for the non existent small print on the November deal...they appear to think 50% off mains is the same as the cheapest main free. Even quizzed the manager on it who seemed to think that too. Generally poor customer service. ☹️

The take away curry was as always great. One negative comment however was a bone my granddaughter aged 11 years found quite a big bone in her mouth while eating her chicken. Thank goodness we were able to get it out before anything horrible happened.

Lovely place and great service. Food is superb. But the only negative is the portion control. For example, the Punjabi masala (very nice by the way) only has 4 or 5 tiny chunks of chicken (maybe one third breast if you are lucky). By contrast, the chicken tikka meal has 5 large pieces of chicken (a full Brest of chicken). The tandoori meals (meat, fish, prawns) are good value and superb. Everything else else on the menu is short on meat and full of sauce and veg. Takeaway food is hit or a miss and the tandoori takeaway is dreadful as they send you meat chunks and rice in separate plastic containers (no onions, salad or accompaniment). Poor value that lets this otherwise great bar, diner, restaurant down. Given that they have really good local competition it’s hard to understand the shortcomings

Food as always beautiful. Atmosphere unfortunately not. This was due to the noise coming from a large group of mixed company and the language used by them. Quite surprised by management for not addressing this at the time

Consistently excellent food with a range of curries to suit all tastes. The night we were there it was close to Christmas and very busy , the staff were slightly overwhelmed with a large table and there was football on in the bar area. They caught up with themselves and gave us excellent service.

Really nice, been a couple of times now and its always been good. Friendly staff and the naan breads are excellent. Wish they did a Keema Naan and Onion pelau rice though

Normally we love Zyka, food was, great as usual Quite off putting listening to a fellow swearing loudly at the end of the bar, next to the door, as we waited for, our, taxi It won't change our eating habits because of one loudmouth but disappointed

Excellent Indian cuisine as well as decent offering for those who’s palate is less inclined to the spices of the Sub-continent, but noticed a slip dip in standards on last visit. Popadoms were soft and stale and curry not as spicy as previous visits. Otherwise everything else - service, price and setting is faultless

The venue is great, good lay out and excellent bar to have some drinks in after your meal aswell as an outside area if the weathers good. The service is absaloutley fantastic, staff are friendly and very attentive. The food was brilliant. Could tell it was fresh and made to order. The cost was extremely reasonable too. Best Indian in the area, very cosy

We booked this venue for my daughters engagement and been there on a number of occasions, it’s beautifully designed, the staff are attentive, well presented and have good manners, the food is delicious, for the curries they use grape seed oil which has 0% fat, so if it’s your weight your concerned about then don’t!, you can let yourself go! The food takes slightly longer to arrive at your table than other restaurants, that’s because when you put in your order they make everything FRESH. It’s well worth waiting that little bit extra and we’re only talking 5 mins. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have had nothing but praise for Zyka over the years but that standard has fallen tonight ,bought take out and must say the food fell far short from there usual standard . Not one for writing reviews but really disappointed.

One of the nicest curries I've had in a while. Veg pakora spiced onions and popadoms are enough to start. Two mains rice and a nan were perfect! If you like lager have a Menabrera to wash it down. Staff were excellent without being intrusive

Been many times, fantastic food. I love going to the grill side of the restaurant as you get both the Indian and grill menus. Great location, really doesn't feeling you are near a motorway or in amongst the houses.

Fantastic starters - lamb chops and king prawns. The main courses were a little bland for us but still tasty. Good service and overall experience was fantastic.

Lovely restaurant close to Newton Mearns Area. It is devided into two equal areas of Bar and restaurant. At the bar you can order drinks and delights off the grill menu and sit down. On the restaurant side is a lovely cosy seating area. In traditional Indian style atmosphere and catering; youll quickly discover they have your favorite on the menu. We sat in the restaurant area. I had the King Prawn Curry with Rice, Tarka Dahl and that was deliches. We were 5 in total and we all agreed that the food was amazing. I ordered a coffee which wasn' t good so you might want to give that a miss. We had our meal and sat for a few hours after kitchen closed but no one made us feel like we needed to get up and leave. The prices are reasonable and it's pretty decent food you get for the price. I would like to add that it was lovely to see a mixture of ethnicities amongst the staff and they all looked very happy to be working there. Please like my review if it has helped you.
