The Cartvale in East Renfrewshire

Thought would book the White Cart for Mother's Day and accidentally booked the Cartvale. However, turned out to be a good move. Good service, good food and good portions. And the kids were quiet when eating as they were enjoying their food. Was busy, but so were the staff so no great wait for the courses. I would recommend giving this place a try, I will be back.

Found this gem last year despite living in EK for over 50 years! Lovely environment, good vibe, brilliant staff, delicious food and a short train ride. Easy parking if taking the car. We had a really nice time last night- thanks to the staff who looked after us and the delicious food. Looking forward to many more visits to the highly recommended Cartvale.

We had a small family wake in the private dining area for twenty people .This place was amazing . Excellent buffet, so much food and choice .Excellent friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful .Last minute having to add a few more numbers that weren't expected .All accommodated with a smile and no problems. Highly recommend this place it's a five star experience .Thank you Liz and all your amazing staff .

A lot of people had told me that the Cartvale's pizzas were some of the best around. They were all correct. One of the best pizzas I've had in Glasgow. Actually cheaper than some of the takeaways around here too. Rest of the food was really nice too and the staff were very good. Could do with some more interesting beers though.

The Cartvale hosted a get together for our son’s christening in their function are and the whole experience was just outstanding, so we’d like to say a huge thank you to Liz and Rick and to all the staff. We had the area at the back of the restaurant, and it was the ideal space for our group as we felt we had our own space. The staff were so accommodating to everything that we asked for and very attentive. We were amazed when the buffet arrived as there was such a spread and everything was absolutely delicious and such a variety. The children absolutely loved it too. Our whole family were raving about it. Overall we had such a lovely time and cannot recommend the Cartvale more. Thank you!

We had the most fabulous family buffet for a christening. The hosts were so accommodating with our large party, the atmosphere so relaxed and comfortable. The FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! A blend of all the favourites was prepared... Light crispy tempura calamari and fish, thin crust pizzas, garlic bread sticks, salt and chilli breaded chicken as well as smoked salmon bagels and sandwiches. Something for everyone. It was such a wonderful dining experience, as it has time every time we've visited as a large family. Can't thank you enough.

What a lovely evening on Friday. We managed to get booked at short notice and were in the bar for dinner. We love the atmosphere in The Cartvale - always busy and staff are great. We were served mainly by Gav who was fantastic. Always on hand, checking we had everything and that we were happy. What a credit he is. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Great food, great prices and wonderful service, thank you all.

We held our gender reveal party in the Cartvale the venue was beautiful the place was spotless and the service by staff was first class we had a lovely private area at the back of the bar area with a beautiful balcony. The food was out of this world and was great value for money I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a function

This is a little late it was 2 weeks ago we visited,we nipped in n the off chance f could fit us in and the manager she was very friendly and welcoming,and seated us ,we ordered food didn’t wait long ,the food was luvly and would definitely return again the manager I didn’t catch her name ,asked my hubby if the fish was nice he said it’s ok better in Yorkshire though she said bugger of back to Yorkshire then all in good banter and friendly way ,we all laughed ,it was a great experience and don’t hesitate to try this place,

We had a lovely dinner here. We had the sharing Buffalo Mozzarella starter (one of the specials)- amazing, then I had the warm salmon salad, and my husband had the roast lamb( another special), served with proper homemade Yorkies, and roasted veggies ( no bland boiled veg!!). Lovely bottle of wine, and friendly service! Our dog slept under the table- we walked there and back- perfect evening! ( had a nice gin in the sunny beer garden before dinner too!)

Popped in for lunch when we were in the area and we both really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, great decor and a very tasty cheeseburger and chips. My wife really liked her cajun chicken and cheese sandwich. Always a good sign for me when the salad has a nice dressing! Good selection of draught beers and spirits, large beer garden area for sunnier days. Will definitely return. 👍

Amazing place. Liz and the rest of the staff were so kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and we all had such a lovely time. Highly recommend the Cartvale.

Have passed this place many times and now so glad I went in. Great choice, good value for money, helpful, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit and can recommend the hummus and breadsticks and the hot dogs.

Afternoon lunch with my friend , was supposed to be a treat was awful my friend has fish and chips left all the batter chips were very stale , I had chicken and mushroom pasta chicken very stringy and not fresh just hope we are both ok later tonight !!!
