Wrong order meaning my kids refused to eat theirs and went in the bin. Usually great.

A small cafe serving excellent fish and chips. Decor a bit old fashioned but clean and tidy

got single fish and it was tasteless and totally swimming in grease, it went straight into bin. don't moan about orders from you normally but this one was bad.

food was half an hour late despite the app saying it had been delivered and food was luke warm at best. if I wasn't as hungry it would be in the bin.

I doubt there is a better chip shop in Ayrshire, amazing as usual.

Fish Supper was delicious. Really good, was delivered quickly and the food was still really warm. Older relative said it was the best Fish Supper they had ever had.

Food was good, need to sort out paper wrapping though as it stuck to some items (fritters) removing most of the batter.

Love this chippy always good grub. The cafe on the side is an added bonus. Definitely a jewel of Kilmarnock…Only downside is the prices are now getting up there so can’t go or order as often. Would Deffo recommend 💫💫💫

Fish wasn’t great, really dry and unenjoyable, but the chips and tartare sauce were lovely.

food is always great and delivery time is also great apart from this time but it will not stop me from using ferries food is brilliant 5 star

Best chips I’ve had in a long time!

Delivery good. Food not so good, it was a bit cool and had lost heat, suspect it had been made up and left for a wee while sitting. It also looked like the last scoops of the chips were what I received, not proper chips but little bits of chips.

Lovely and fresh don’t mind when they run late

Ordered at 5.35pm and arrived at 7.25pm!

Every Saturday before the football my grandson Jack desperate to go to Ferris cafe for his large plate of chips and cheese and a bottle of curries Kola, for me the best fish and chips in the town.

Delivery time advised, then was told it will be delayed. This is the second time in a row this has happened. Chips and gravy arrived eventually and they were cold. I binned them. I contacted just eat and they gave me £2 something. As a credit note. I was just under £10 including delivery and they were inedible. I will not be using just eat or ferries again. Very disappointing

Great food as always from here. Although someone needs to teach them how to butter a roll and not to use margarine.

Always good food from Ferri's, my favourite chippy in Kilmarnock. Normal menu is good value but gr8 value if there's a few of u n get a munchie box

I really enjoyed my meal, it arrived hot and fresh, the mince was particularly tasty and the chips were great too. I will definitely recommend it to anyone.

Fair that it can be busy at weekend nights but 2.5 hours in total for 2 kids meals and chips cheese isnt acceptable when charging £3.00 for delivery

Food was fresh but time I ordered it it didn't arrive till nearly 18:30 so tem mins after the estimated time.

Fish supper ordered for 4.55 collection. picked it up at 5.00. Really delicious and well cooked. Will certainly use Ferris again

For the price of it you’d expect more than a handful of chips in a supper. So greasy.

Food was not the same quality I've had in the past, chips were undercooked and full of grease.

1 hour and 20 minutes for a half pizza supper shop probably only 10 minutes away from me if that. Food was ok not massively warm though and for the first time ever I wasn't full up after it which is weird usually I am after a chippy maybe portion size wasn't great or I was just starving time it came .

We love ferri’s for the quality of the food and it is the first place we go to. But last night the food was almost inedible, it was greasey and unpalatable. We won’t be back for a while at least.

Ferri's suppers are consistently delicious. Lovely and crispy, not soggy or back-het. They are delivered as if they were straight out of the pan, no need to heat up. Friendly delivery drivers.

Always get from Ferris. Their food is always fresh, piping hot upon arrival and top quality. Tonight was no different. Always follow our instructions thoroughly also. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a very good fish supper or chicken supper especially. Just wished they'd add a King Rib onto their menu 😂

Raspberry sauce didn’t taste anything like raspberry sauce from other dessert places was more like bubblegum and there was about 2 teaspoons worth in both the tubs asked for extra but think I was giving the bare minimum since I bought a bottle or raspberry sauce witch I won’t use

Delicious ,hot, battered fish large, crispy nice chips too. I will be straight with whoever reads my opinion for food that comes from this cafe. I have been using it on & off for 50 years🙂. So yes I am bias. Always great food.

Just got me & the sister a fish supper from here & would definitely return, lovely fresh supper, plenty of it, nice batter very flavoursome, also the service was amazing & the young blonde girl Robin who served me was very polite & courteous & it's nice to see nowadays, would definitely return.

Most of the chips were crusty and overcooked.curry sauce wasn’t very flavorful,hamburger was dry.have always been happy with any order before but I was a bit disappointed this time.

Fish unusually disappointing. Batter soggy . Fish also looked poor as gray in colour. Well we can all have as off day . ☺️

I have never had such delicious fish and chips, absolutely fantastic. Brilliant price. Most importantly the delivery driver was so respectful. I will definitely order again and highly recommend it. It there was 10 stars I would’ve put it on.

Orded placed at 5.25 recieved message would be delivered at 6.05-6.25...recieved a message to say it had been delivered at 6.30 which it wasnt... finally recieved at 6.50

Old style cafe but the fish tea was superb, thoroughly enjoyed.

chips were fine, but the black pudding fritter was freezing & I had about 6/7 bones from 2 mouthfuls of fish. you maybe expect 1 or 2 but this was ridiculous, waste of a meal went straight in the bin.

Chips were half cooked & half of them were bad green and black bits on the chips. Special fish was so dry.

Just had fish and chips to takeaway fir hubby and I. One of the fish i had was very dry, I couldn't eat it. The chips were also dry, I had a few and binned the rest. Disappointed with the food.

quality was good,chips were just barely warm fish was nice .I totally understand that it was a busy time of evening but if the fish is warm then you expect the chips to be as warm as the fish.

This place seems to be hit or miss.Had a fish supper a couple of weeks ago and it was fine. Had one today and the fish was like mush as if it had been previously frozen. Will give this cafe a miss for a while.

Order arrived on good time. Quality was alright. Chips weren’t the best but edible. The sausage was cooked but felt not as good as what it was before. Either that or it’s a change in supplier or how it’s cooked. Unsure. Overall, it was okay. Nothing special.

Brilliant quality as al2ays. Chicken fritters well cooked, with crispy batter. Chips fresh and hot. Peas and onion rings tasty, as well as wonderful accompaniment. Driver always friendly, helpful and professional.

Best pizza I’ve had from a chip shop in a very long time. Delivery time very disappointing, before ordering delivery was between 40 and 60 mins but when ordered changed to 75 to 95 mins . Delivered 98 mins which for even a Saturday is way to long

Chips, cheese and curry sauce portion sizes are a little on the stingy side. There are two options Small or Regular. I bought the regular and there was literally just a handful of chips in a small box. Not worth the money in my opinion, however what I did get was very tasty.
