Always get from Ferris. Their food is always fresh, piping hot upon arrival and top quality. Tonight was no different. Always follow our instructions thoroughly also. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a very good fish supper or chicken supper especially. Just wished they'd add a King Rib onto their menu 😂

Raspberry sauce didn’t taste anything like raspberry sauce from other dessert places was more like bubblegum and there was about 2 teaspoons worth in both the tubs asked for extra but think I was giving the bare minimum since I bought a bottle or raspberry sauce witch I won’t use

Delicious ,hot, battered fish large, crispy nice chips too. I will be straight with whoever reads my opinion for food that comes from this cafe. I have been using it on & off for 50 years🙂. So yes I am bias. Always great food.

Just got me & the sister a fish supper from here & would definitely return, lovely fresh supper, plenty of it, nice batter very flavoursome, also the service was amazing & the young blonde girl Robin who served me was very polite & courteous & it's nice to see nowadays, would definitely return.

Most of the chips were crusty and overcooked.curry sauce wasn’t very flavorful,hamburger was dry.have always been happy with any order before but I was a bit disappointed this time.

Fish unusually disappointing. Batter soggy . Fish also looked poor as gray in colour. Well we can all have as off day . ☺️

Cracking food as per usual, just a shame delivery time didn't match. Came up on app as delivered when it hadn't.

I have never had such delicious fish and chips, absolutely fantastic. Brilliant price. Most importantly the delivery driver was so respectful. I will definitely order again and highly recommend it. It there was 10 stars I would’ve put it on.

Orded placed at 5.25 recieved message would be delivered at 6.05-6.25...recieved a message to say it had been delivered at 6.30 which it wasnt... finally recieved at 6.50

It arrived cold and soggy. Didn’t enjoy it. Threw most of it in the bin

chips were fine, but the black pudding fritter was freezing & I had about 6/7 bones from 2 mouthfuls of fish. you maybe expect 1 or 2 but this was ridiculous, waste of a meal went straight in the bin.

Chips were half cooked & half of them were bad green and black bits on the chips. Special fish was so dry.

quality was good,chips were just barely warm fish was nice .I totally understand that it was a busy time of evening but if the fish is warm then you expect the chips to be as warm as the fish.

Just had fish and chips to takeaway fir hubby and I. One of the fish i had was very dry, I couldn't eat it. The chips were also dry, I had a few and binned the rest. Disappointed with the food.

This place seems to be hit or miss.Had a fish supper a couple of weeks ago and it was fine. Had one today and the fish was like mush as if it had been previously frozen. Will give this cafe a miss for a while.

Order arrived on good time. Quality was alright. Chips weren’t the best but edible. The sausage was cooked but felt not as good as what it was before. Either that or it’s a change in supplier or how it’s cooked. Unsure. Overall, it was okay. Nothing special.

Brilliant quality as al2ays. Chicken fritters well cooked, with crispy batter. Chips fresh and hot. Peas and onion rings tasty, as well as wonderful accompaniment. Driver always friendly, helpful and professional.

Best pizza I’ve had from a chip shop in a very long time. Delivery time very disappointing, before ordering delivery was between 40 and 60 mins but when ordered changed to 75 to 95 mins . Delivered 98 mins which for even a Saturday is way to long

Chips, cheese and curry sauce portion sizes are a little on the stingy side. There are two options Small or Regular. I bought the regular and there was literally just a handful of chips in a small box. Not worth the money in my opinion, however what I did get was very tasty.

Forget the rest , Ferris are the best . Great fresh warm food , never had anything less from here. FANTASTIC !!

Food was cold, fritters were either cooked multiple times or were off, food took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive though was delivered "on time" (last minute it could be delivered)

I liked the more traditional way they used the old fashioned card tray, the chips were nice and the fish was nice too. My son had haggis and he said it was really good. Win win … and a more sensibly priced fish supper.

Half pizza was nice, curry sauce was good, chips were rotten- thank goodness for the curry sauce to disguise the taste of the chips. . .

Scampi & Chips were undercooked, looked like chips weren't fried but boiled. Place is usually spot on...can't phone them as incorrect number 🤷🏻 picture taken as proof.

ordered through the app pressed collect instead of deliver ,phoned the place straight away to explain my mistake ,no problem sir pay the driver at the door ,this was at 6.30pm ,phoned twice after that, 8 pm my meal came ,I only live about 2 miles from the place ,very disappointed with the delivery service,

I ordered at 1615hrs to arrive at 1800hrs, I had to call at 1810hrs to ask where the order was....they informed me it would leave in 5 minutes. It arrived at 1845hrs cold. Thanks a lot. I ordered early to avoid these exact issues. Thanks for cold chips.

Great service! I phoned up as they sent the kids pizza supper without chips by mistake. Instead of sending up just the chips that were missing, they sent a whole kids pizza supper within 5mins of phoning.

Staff were brilliant however I picked up a fish supper and it was soaked in grease. I then phoned them and had a new order sent out only to be handed the exact same. This place has changed and its not the chip shop it used to be so unfortunately I wont be eating from here again.
