Love the food here and the service is top-notch. The chef/ owner, Emma came out to every table at the end of the meal to greet the customers and find out about the food. It's lil things like this that make a restaurant feel like home.
Abbiamo cenato in questo piccolo locale in famiglia.
Pizza margherita buona, impasto digeribile.
Prezzo circa 12£ l’una.
Non c’è grande scelta di pizze “semplici”.
Il ragazzo in sala era da solo e si è dato un gran da fare tutta la sera.
Se cercate una pizza è una scelta consigliata.
What an amazing experience. The service was friendly and personable. The food was absolutely fantastic - every course complimented the last. The wine pairings were fantastic, great choices from the sommelier. The location is absolutely stunning with views of the true Scottish coast. An absolute must visit.
Amazing experience. Staff were very attentive, professional and friendly, I can’t compliment them enough. Food and drinks were fantastic, we went for the Thursday night supper club, where you get a set menu. All the courses were delicious, I especially enjoyed the main course, escalope of chicken with a Parmesan risotto. Everything cooked perfectly and we even got a photo with the kilted chef himself. It’s a shame the place is closing at the end of September however, we were so pleased we went and will have a fantastic memory to reflect on. I wouldn’t hesitate if you are thinking of booking. Do it before it’s too late.
Always a must on my visit to Innerleithen. Opens early and fantastic coffee. All the staff are amazing and the location is great. you must visit if you are in Innerleithen.
Just had a fabulous family meal at the Taj Mahal on the last night of our holiday in the area. The service was the best we've had in a long time, if ever, and the food was delicious. They catered really well for my gluten and dairy free dietry needs, offering a variety of options, including a complimentary coconut naan bread. Make sure you also try the sugared fennel seeds to finish! We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
We had lunch here today. Great wee cafe.
Staff first class as is the food.
All home made. We took two fruit scones home with us too, which were just delicious.
We'll definitely be back
At the beginning of our Scotland trip we came for a 'simple visit' to Deanston Distillery. Since it was a fairly unknown distillery to us and we had just received a bottle of Deanston at home (in the Netherlands) we thought it would be nice to visit it. Unfortunately we didn't have time in our schedule for a tour at that moment. However, because of the familiar and enthusiastic welcome from Lauryn & George in the shop - with whom we stood talking for quite a while - we decided to book a Warehouse no. 4 tasting on the last day of the holiday - on the way to the airport. We had a private tasting from Aiste. She was very enthusiastic and knew a lot to tell and let us taste delicious whiskies straight from the barrel. The atmosphere in the warehouse is very friendly and the samples were ample. Worth the money in our opinion. Since George had given us a sample of a special 32yo whisky during our first visit - which we then talked about for another 1.5 weeks - we decided to take this bottle home with us, filled by George himself! On our first trip we had already bought a small bottle, filled by Lauryn.
Now we have a bottle at home filled by Lauryn & George. So they kind of came back home with us. Next year we will definitely go back for the tour and to say hello!
Excellent choice! Food was a excellent and a really good value. Servers were very pleasant and attentive. Place was nicely decorated and very clean. We booked for another dinner as we left as we were very impressed.
