The best restaurants in Scotland

I went here by myself with my dog. The two girls behind the bar were so welcoming it was unreal. Coffee was really nice and I'm presuming the majority of their clientele are uni students because there were a lot of people working on their laptops when I went. People shared tables, place looked nice and it was clean so yeah, awesome.

This was the absolute best place we stayed on our visit to Scotland! We only stayed on night, and it’s my one regret from the trip that we didn’t stay longer. The welcome and service was excellent, the room was perfect, and the breakfast service was delicious! I want to plan a trip back just to visit the accommodations again!

The food was amazing, the staff really friendly and while we were waiting for a takeaway we started to regret that we didn't dine in.

Best Greek food in the city - never disappoints.

Exceptional quality and service! We placed a large takeaway order of a range of dishes, all of which were perfectly cooked, flavourful and beautifully textured. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Great choice of goods from the factory shop. Good quality and prices cheaper than retail outlets.

Do not go to this restaurant. We’ve just had an absolutely dreadful experience. Booked a table for 6 with a compulsory festive menu. Was phoned 90 minutes beforehand to say they only had 4 left. On arrival we were told they now had only 2 left. On taking our order was then told there was nothing left. No apology, was just told ‘that’s how it is here’. Very rude staff. I said how disappointed I was and would not be back. The waiter said good. Not sure how this will survive in a competitive marketplace with customer service like this.

I was here for a drink and the staff in the elf cap mixing drinks was a little bit disregarding. Nice place, the other person whom I supposed owns the restaurant was friendly, brought the drink and also the snack. I def won’t be recommending nor going back unless they have someone else make the drinks. Not going to mention the word but I know what played there, so sad this is still a topic in 2024!

Unexpectedly good food. Pad thai was tasty, however service is too slow. Waited for our food for ages. The interior needs some level of upgrade.

Lovely little find today after visiting the Silverbirch garden centre! Inside is lovely and immaculate, service was great. Food was delicious (although my husband thought his was bland, but thats his taste) other adult and children really enjoyed meals, and were plentiful. Will be returning ☺️

Amazing cafe with genuine Spanish cuisine. We had two sandwiches, a slice of tortilla, drinks, coffee and dessert and everything tasted great. It was full of other Spanish people, so you can tell it's the real deal. The owner was lovely and it had such a homey atmosphere. Such good value as well. Can't wait to visit their sister restaurant in Tollcross.
