Quite good for street food, 5 star for taste, chicken is better than lamb. Need more cleanliness

When it comes to shawarma, lazord is definitely one of the best places I've been to in Glasgow. The mixed Shawarma was very juicy and full of flavour, authentic Syrian shawarma. I did not expect the chips to be so nice too. When looking from the outside it doesn't seem the best but the food is very good. I wouldn't really come here to dine in, if looking for a nice dine in. The atmosphere is nice but a little below average however the food makes up for it

Food is better, however they do not add drinks to their deals and sell them separately. And its written there, not to bring your own drinks.😊 Well keeping that apart, food taste is good. price is good. Very Difficult to get parking, infact no parking there, you have to park somewhere else as its cuty centre.

Terrible experience from start to finish. The restaurant was dirty, and service was beyond slow—it took over an hour to get my food. I had to repeatedly ask about my order, and instead of fixing the issue, the staff argued with me about what I ordered and how much I paid, as if I wouldn’t know. On top of that, they had an awful attitude the entire time. Completely unprofessional and not worth the hassle. I won’t be coming back. Had Two meals. Barely ate one of them and ended up giving the other to a homeless woman.

The old men have served me with 3 days ago half chicken was dry because old chicken make sure they don't serve you with old chicken Sickness

Easily the best falafel in Glasgow these days, and that’s coming from a falafel connoisseur! The falafel are nicely seasoned, very flavourful and the light, crunchy, crumbly texture is perfect. The salad here is always nice and fresh and the pickles are delicious. At £5 for a large wrap it’s good value. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good fast food in the city.

Best Shawarma place we have ever had! My family visited from this place from London, and we were blown away. We tried the chicken shawarma with rice, rotisserie chicken with rice, lamb shawarma with chips and a chicken wrap. Everything was phonemenal!

I ordered two small shawarma which cost 4 £ Because I saw at the menu and he charged me 11£ instead of 8£ . They said it was going to be 10 min and I waited long because they forgot about me .They was doing the others who came after . They are extremely dirty and they toach the meat and food with hands .They toach also cash with hands and after they toach food. I will put the food on the bin because it is disgusting 🤢.

We were coming from another city and we said exclusively cash, so we said okay. We asked if he gave us an invoice, we said okay. The table was dirty. No one cleaned it. No one was cleaning it at all. We said, Okay, we will clean it ourselves. The taste is barely acceptable and the shawarma has nothing to do with Syrian shawarma. He beats a pound and a half, and he shouts to me and says, “Come back.” I joked with him that he wouldn't forgive us. He said, "No, don't go out and pay." The shock of miserliness and lack of taste, O Aibshom, and he said, “Don’t curse us again!” Who can come back to solve what I don't ask?

I AM SHOCKED about the way they treat customers. No way I would go back. No receipts, only cash so they don't pay their bills, long waiting and the taste? It's barely edible 😩

I arrived after reasonable reviews. There was 1 person in the queue and 3 servers and I have 45 minutes until my train departed (5 min walk). It took 09 minutes to get served despite there being 3 servers. When I was served I was told it would be 5 mins for a chicken kebab. Fine as I can catch a train no problems. I ordered one simple chicken kebab. It too then another 12 minutes to turn in the heat lamps. I checked again on time. ‘No problem, 5 minutes’. 15 minutes later I checked and they said ‘very soon’. I had to leave to catch my train. Do yourself a favour and go to the Shewarma Kebab place under the arches. Great food and great service. This place is useless. I wasted £7!

The best shawarma i have ever try it in scotland

Tried this Syrian place in Galsgow today in search of authentic Arab shawarma, which was not a success. The food was just okay, and it was mot even near to authentic taste. I have no idea why people have said authentic because it is not even close. The place is cash only in this era! You can find ATM nearby, which is good. Not very clean and less seats. I asked for full chicken, he is 30 minutes and I agreed and he instantly said 45 minutes. Lol. Seems like he didn't want to sell chicken. Poor customer service.

The food was delicious, with generous portions. It's the best Shawarma I've had in Scotland, prepared in an authentic Syrian style. While slightly salty and rich, it melts in your mouth. The salads and French fries are fantastic. The prices are quite reasonable, though they don't accept card payments—but the warm and friendly staff more than make up for it. Overall, a great experience that I’d happily return for.

I last night had a disappointing experience at the Syrian street food shop that I feel compelled to share. I had pre-ordered food, expecting a smooth pickup, but what I encountered was far from satisfactory. To start, the customer service was abysmal. After arriving, after waiting for 40 mins I was told that the food I had ordered was unavailable. However, rather than informing me of this upfront, they decided to give me the wrong food without any notice. When I asked about it, they falsely re-confirmed my original order, leaving me confused and dissatisfied. I had to go all the way to my hotel and come back after realizing that they have given me the wrong food . To make matters worse, while I was waiting in line, I noticed that the Syrian cashier was taking orders from other customers, specifically ladies, who were behind me in the queue. This was not only unprofessional but also extremely frustrating as it made me feel ignored and disrespected. When I finally got to the counter to address these issues, the cashier was incredibly rude. Despite the clear fault on their side, they showed no accountability or willingness to rectify the situation. I had high hopes for this place, but after this experience, I won't be returning. The poor service, misleading actions, and lack of respect for customers are simply unacceptable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Poor Service. Ordered for several items including burgers, shawarma and mandi rice ect. worth over £50. Waiting time was too long. Before the collection they said that they don't have burgers we ordered. With a disappointment after waiting for over 30 minutes asked to provide an alternative as didnt want to wait for more long. I wanted to get the confirmation on the food provided and taken those away. But the oder was not accurate. Came back to check on our order. Then the person who took the order told they don't have mutton we ordered but he has charged for mutton but given chicken without taking our concent. When I returned to ask on the mismatch of the order, he just gave the difference of £1.50 for mutton and chicken difference. Not satisfied on the service at all.

The best shwarma I've ever had in my life. This is next level stuff, it ain't a kebab shop. The chicken shwarma comes with pickles and some kind of preserved lemon sauce and the lamb comes with mint and pickles. The bread is so crispy and chewy at the same time. Cannot wait to come back and try the rotisserie chicken

I tried the large lamb shawarma wrap and found it was tasty, but a bit salty and greasy (oily soggy bottom!). Maybe I should have gone for the chicken and rice based meal... But for less than £10 including a coke, it's a good cheap meal. I would go back to try other meals. Lovely staff, just don't expect formalities. CASH ONLY!

Was there last night sadly they had bo lamb left, but I got 2 chicken mundee and 1 half chicken mundee instead and it was brilliant would highly recommend this place. The meat was perfectly cooked. 10/10 very happy will be back
