Never again. I used this studio once before and while the room was small, it was fine and the younger guy was such a gem. We felt comfortable to come back today and despite knowing it was vocals and bass, they had no way to get sound going. A studio doesn’t have cables?? Our room was up a narrow spiral staircase, which with heels and a bass, we felt uncomfortable going up but were told no other rooms were free.. fair enough. We were led to a mouldy smelly attic and given a smashed mic. Old guy spent 20 minutes looking for a cable so we could get sound (shouting and swearing about us loud enough for us to hear, mind you.) we decided to cut our losses at this point and leave. My bassist thanked the guy anyway on the way out, only to be confronted TO PAY. For what?? When told we didn’t get to practice for obvious reasons, the guy became aggressive and started shouting/cussing us out!! Bassist offered to pay to shut the guy up, only to be told to leave and “never come back” , as well as threatened. No worries, definitely not coming back and telling every musician I know to avoid.

Not bad but I think you guys needs to do something about your office network…it takes forever to get through

Have used before and all good, however thought I had a booking for last Friday and had 30 people organised for the event only to find out someone had messed up big time and not booked me in. Major headache and no apologies and no dates left. Real shame as recording a Christmas charity song now down the pan, unless I can find another studio. Only found out by calling the day before to check a tech detail. We could all have pitched up on the night and wasted our time.

As a Carlton, stopping at Carlton Studio while visiting Glasgow was a must. Lovely little cafe for a snack and a chat. A nice place to step back from the hustle of Glasgow and have a walk on the other side of the river. Had a lovely bacon and egg roll. Was gifted a Carlton Studios t-shirt

A Great cafe on the banks of the Clyde came up from London for a family break and had a lovely breakfast such a warm friendly welcome. Also has recording studios for local bands to rehearse in . Barney who runs the place is such a lovely man and made us feel very welcome

I was practically starving and decided to nip downstair into this wee cafe for a bite to eat and I didn't regret it as the soup and what I had afterwards was just excellent 👌 and reasonable priced and highly recommended 😀 definitely be nipping again.

Great space, lots of rooms and decent equipment for practicing with your musical project. Parking outside, cafe downstairs. The staff were helpful and informative. Decent price and location. Call to book you practice/lessons.

My first time meeting Thomas Sutherland(drum tutor). He made me feel relaxed and at ease. I really enjoyed my 1st lesson with him. Will definitely be going back. I'd highly recommend him and he's very down to earth and patient.👍😊👏👏👏

Just had the best lunch I can remember for a long time at the Carlton studios cafe, you could tell from their regular Frank it was going to be a welcoming cafe, it’s immediately interesting as soon as you walk down, the food was awesome toastie and soup first class and the staff / owners were the best even giving me a Springsteen tile to take home for free despite me trying to offer them cash for it , will definitely be back whenever I’m and around that area of the city

Ideal for what I’m looking for- good location, well priced rehearsal space, friendly staff. I attend drum lessons here and use rooms to practice for a really decent price. Highly recommend!

It's a fairly decent priced studio, but it honestly needs a complete makeover, I've been to this studio three times in my life and it's always been in the same room, the acoustic panels were close to falling off and the spiral staircase that leads to the top practice room is a pain, especially during the winter time when it becomes cold and slippery and it's pretty dangerous especially when carrying heavy equipment.

Fairly decent price to book for 3 hours, however the practice space have solid walls and floors and no acoustic panels. Sound just bounces all over the place. It's very difficult to hear each other when everyone is playing together. I would not recommend it for a fairly large band to practice in.

Good place, sound owners. The amps in the room I was in weren't in the best condition but props to them for actually stocking good valve amps (and lots of them!)

Know what, its a great place. Good size rooms and decent staff! Would recommend!!

It's a very nice and cozy place it is less than 5 minutes away from the subway so it is very accessible

Friendly, helpful rehearsal and recording close to Glasgow city centre, reasonable cost and cafe, highly recommend for musicians!

Good value for money for rehearsals a bit out the way (just over the bridge) but still good.. Decent scran on site as well till about 3pm..sandwiches good soup.. Studios are fine

Didn't like that there's a towel in the loo, u don't know who's used it b4 you. Coffee n roll n sausage we not too bad.

Although it may not be the most modern studio, it still comes with all the gear you need for band rehearsals, it's only a 10 minute walk from Central station and it's got great prices too. The staff are always very helpful and they even teach lessons there for various instruments!

Este Café es tan minúscula que debe ser. Ocupado, amable con los clientes. ecléctica Tiene un estudio de música adjunto así que tienes músicos, justo al lado de la. Así que tienes la pista de abogados y sus clientes, y es bueno, pero barato, así que los jóvenes y no tan jóvenes. El personal es muy agradable y te tratan como un amigo que he visto que más de una vez.La comida es preparada y es buena y buenos precios. Fui a trabajar una tarde y mi tercer café llegó libre después de terminado mi segunda sin preguntar. Ha enganchado desde entonces.Es cruzando el puente colgante de la calle South Portland justo al otro lado de la calle Clyde Enoc. Pero mucho mejor que los costos. Y siempre abierto! !

Great value food. Perfect for lunch. Always busy at lunch time due to locality of the Sheriff Court. Shows you how well people rate it. Staff are brilliant. They also have a recording studio which is interesting!

Para una reunión y queríamos tomar un bocadillo rápido sentarse. Un pequeño lugar con sólo un par de mesas pero comida fantástica. Mi colega y yo quedamos con un par de sándwiches tostados - ambos estaban llenos lleno de abundante y las dos sándwiches tostados y un par de copas y nos dieron cambio de 10 libras. La única pega es que estaba tratando de pagar como una vez que habíamos comido tuvimos que hacer cola para pagar la comida. Aparte de eso, un gran pequeño lugar.

Conocido localmente como "Barney's" es un pequeño café. Tiene sólo unas pocas mesas pero la mayoría de la gente viene desde las oficinas circundantes para una llevar. Los precios son muy razonables para la comida fría y caliente y las porciones son muy, muy generoso.Los rollos de mayo de pollo son sublime!
