The best restaurants in England

Super friendly staff, generous portions and very tasty fish and chips! Loved the sauces too, nice to have a selection. Definitely my go to fish and chips!

We ordered quite a few dishes and they were all bland. The only dish I enjoyed is pictured, the chefs special Luxury Sesame Prawn Toast. Its a Thia restaurant in a pub, the atmosphere was pub like cheerful. The female bar tender & waitress were cheerful & people in the pub enjoying themselves, but the food let the experience down. For people who don't eat Thai food might like it with their alcoholic beverages, just to eat Thai I won't recommend. I have provided pictures of few of their main dish, sorry even the fired squid lacked seasoning. I would like to return to the pub and enjoy the environment with my colleagues from work. would not recommend the food, except the Luxury Sesame Prawn Toast. Please do not get fooled by the table Q discount, its the removal of service charge not the discount on food. The service to the table at a dine-in restaurant should be free, the extra care is what we as customer should tip, its an gimmick.

First time back to the George and Dragon for years, absolutely fantastic. It was a great welcome and we didn't feel out of place at all, the local beer is great and the food is amazing. We only popped in for a drink and a snack on our way home to see what it was like since the change of ownership but I can now say it will be a very regular stop, the best thing is it is within walking or staggering distance from home. Can't wait to try the Sunday lunch.

Tastiest pasta I've had in ages! Had the pizza the next day, was fluffy, light, perfectly flavoured and priced well. All staff have a smile and cook with love.

Fantastic grounds, staff and dining. Food was exceptional and rooms are superb. Whole package is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

Ordered from here twice now and both times the order has been cancelled after an hour of waiting - due to the delivery driver breaking down!!

Didn't impressed me, I came expecting better service because of the reviews. Most of the seats were not allowed to use, they didn't give me any utensils to eat a not so small croissant. Only hot drinks before 30 min before closure and they were cleaning the space while we were consuming food.

Delicious pastry and an absolutely amazing hot chocolate, lovely post-parkrun treat! Staff very friendly and chatty, thank you ☺️

Amazing home made cakes and orzo pilaf pasta.

I cannot rate the service, food and good vibes this place provides. You are always made to feel welcomed. Food is good quality and portion sizes above average for the price. Dining within the church adds to the atmosphere and they have a wonderful children's play area my son loves.

Excellent experience every time I come in and the food is always good quality and tasty. I recommend them to all my family and friends and they have all said the same good feedback, they have truly beaten Pepes 🤧🤧😂😂. Getting better each time mashallah.

Visited Early September 2024 And as you can probably see I don’t do reviews but on this particular occasion, I was so impressed with the food I promised I would leave a review An absolute must if you want healthy non-junk food in one word phenomenal
