I have been coming here for years it’s a nice little cafe with a very friendly atmosphere the owners are absolutely lovely my daughter who is autistic loves coming here even if we’re passing she loves to just run in and say hello and nomatter what there always smiling and very kind to her if your ever near Woodford station and need food or drink I’d highly recommend shepherds they will truly take care of you as if you were family

We've just moved to the area and this is genuinely the best cafe I have been to in the long time. The staff make you feel very welcome and remember your name, taking time to ask how you are. Food is very good, can't fault it!

1st class service and top nosh.

Since moving into the area, they have become our staple local cafe down the road. The owners are great, they get to know the regulars with their fave dishes, and there's definitely a community feeling. The food is great, and their breakfasts really hit the spot. All walks of people enjoy their service, be it traders in the early morning, young families for lunch, and those who just can't resist a delicious breakfast and cappuccino. Thank you for your 5 star service, and warm hospitality!

We’ve recently moved to the area and we visited Shepherd’s Cafe when we first viewed it and it genuinely played a part in our decision to buy! We’ve been several times since and everyone is so friendly and the food is amazing and so well priced! So happy to call this our local :)

I have lived in Woodford for over 10 years and this has become a regular for me and my family. The staff are so friendly and so helpful when we bring our kids along - there is always a little biscuit treat which my niece loves! A couple of years ago I was pretty unwell and the staff were so kind in helping me get in and out the cafe and to make sure I was comfortable. The food is just as good as the excellent service! We often come for breakfast and lunch. The fry up is great but there are also lots of health options. That said, I cannot resist the wonderful cakes - the apple turnover is my fave! The cafe is really clean and tidy, and tables are cleared very quickly. Shepherds is a must for anyone living in the area!

I used this place regularly before the current owners took over, but not for coffee.... since the changes that have been introduced I'm in there every day I am at home, batista coffee fresh homemade food sandwiches and the baked on premises cakes and savory products now mean I don't have to go any further. Friendliest family and staff in the area..either side of Woodford station.

Not nice to see bad reviews from people who don’t like dogs in this cafe, just because they allow regular loyal customers with dogs to sit in their premises does not mean they are running a dirty establishment. We frequent Shepherds regularly and they are always cleaning, dogs are not permitted on chairs and we are asked to make sure our dog is kept on the floor. Service and friendliness of staff and quality of food is excellent Local company for local people 👍

Had a beautiful fish special on Friday absolutely gorgeous fish came off the bones so easy flavours were amazing thank you to the lovely friendly staff also always very clean a pleasure to visit

Great bakery and cafe. Better sausage rolls than Gxxxs !!! Staff were so welcoming and we should support our local shops before we end up with a bland chain. Great selection of breakfast and fresh sandwich options.

Every time we come here they great us with the biggest smiles, everyone is happy here. And the food is amazing and once you go in you don’t want to leave 10/10.

I have visited this cafe 3 times and each time it gets better.I have breakfast on a saturday morning the food is top class the staff are also very good and atentive .I had 2 poached eggs on toast bacon sausages mushrooms and a flat white it was cooked to perfection.Keep up the good work all at shepards.Frank Woolf

I went with my 3 year old grandson staff very welcoming food delicious very big kids portion meal, I had lamb kofte and rice also salad came beautifully arranged on the plate,very clean table all the cafe is exceptionally clean,the cakes are also delicious bought on many occasions good to find the good selection of old traditional cakes, dined in a few times now great value exceptional taste great friendly staff.

I went to this place to take a bad images I give about other place I visited to have a breakfast, believe me it was great breakfast. Very clear cute and comfortable please to be. It mate my standard. Just the place when it's 10am, and you haven't had the chance to breakfast yet. Actually, sweet-toothed friends with me said it would be great anytime for coffee and cake. So, next time you're in Woodford...

Shepherds always seems to have customers which is a good sign, I buy rolls in here for my lunch, always good value, staff are great too.

I've always received a warm welcome, generous roll fillings, with a nice daily selection of fresh cakes and snacks. Cooked eat-in meals are available, although I've yet to sample their menu. Conveniently located with 30min free parking available. Always appears clean, with very friendly accommodating staff. Update: Today my son paid the shop a visit, while there purchased some items and in the order he asked for a slice of their delicious bread pudding, however when he got home, he realised he'd been given a single slice of buttered bread, cut in half! Umm! He called and they had a good laugh, then offered to replace it for the cooked version!

Shephards is a nice local cafe. Its small and can only comfortably accommodate about 30 people. The food is good and the staff are friendly enough. There are both cold and hot options food wise. And they also do sweet treats.

Visit frequently , always enjoy the big breakfast, great value .

Sat & watched her serve many a time. Quick, efficient & really friendly. Like she’s known you forever. Been going in there for years.
