Super friendly staff, generous portions and very tasty fish and chips! Loved the sauces too, nice to have a selection. Definitely my go to fish and chips!

Just been in Franky's fish shop for the first time, had a small fish deal and it was the best fish and chips i’ve had for a long time, had to wait for fish to cook but it was definitely worth the wait.

Have always loved the chips from this chippy but tonight they were the worst chips I'd tasted .. Not freshly cooked they were dry hard and tasted old ..clearly refried from what was left from lunch or last night's service......!!!!!! This is such a shame ..they were disgusting. Your chips need to be freshly cooked!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent fish and chips, with friendly, efficient service. The only downside was the queue for collection, which is a measure of Frank's popularity.

Chips have perfect texture (a tad greasy), fish is one of a kind, sausage is full of flavour and the chippy is in a great location.

Very nice chop shop, everything was cooked perfectly, nice juicy chips and and very tasty curry sauce. The sausage was was very nice too. Nice friendly owner and will definitely be visiting again when I'm in the area.

Excellent food value for money. Social Distancing in place. Would have given 5 stars. But just one detail stood out while I was waiting for my order to be cooked fresh I noticed some staff members handled cash and did not use anti bac on their hands before serving up food. There was antibacterial gel at side of till. But not used. This meant from touching money they then touched serving utensils and laid them down on surfaces to then be used by other members of staff.

Popped in tonight. Ordered 2 large fish, chips and mushy peas. I cannot recommend this chippy enough. The batter was crispy and the fish was the best we've had in years. Mushy peas we're amazing. We will be back.

Have used this chip shop for the last 6 months. It's one of the best I have tried in the county. Huge portions, piping hot. The chips are delicious. Best fish and chips North side of lincoln

had fish and chips from here last week, this week we decided to have chicken and chips, what a mistake that was, the chips were fine but the cremated chicken was awful, so dry and hard so in the bin it went, never in 50 years have i had such a awful piece of chicken

Came for the first time last night not long before closing, a few people outside waiting. Daughter went to order, sadly while everyone was waiting patiently for their food to be cooked in person took it upon themselves to start shouting at the staff about the wait. My daughter said the staff handled to woman in a calm and professional manner (personally if it was me I’d have given her the choice of her money back or undercooked food and a risk of food poisoning). Quite frankly if your going to order half an hour before closing then you can expect a wait and there’s absolutely no need to shout at the people cooking the food you can’t be bothered to cook yourself (exactly the reason we went, because we couldn’t be bothered to cook ourselves). Our order was cooked fresh, not too long to wait considering it was cooked to order and was absolutely beautiful (the dog appreciated the extra sausage and chips 😉) We will be back next time we can’t be bothered to cook and please take as long as you need to cook our food as it’s worth the wait xx

Always welcoming and friendly service, very popular so especially on a Fry-day Friday, expect some queuing but usually worth the wait.

Fish and chips are always so nice from here. Peas and curry spot on. Fish is so fresh and chips are so tasty plus they always have batter bits!! Never go anywhere else for a chippy tea!

Had an amazing fish and chips with the wife, chips where well cooked and crispy on the outside. Fish was succulent and piping hot! Well worth the money. Staff polite, happy, all in all I would give it 6 stars if possible, thank you

We placed a massive order for collection and they were able to have it ready on time for a very reasonable price. Everyone enjoyed their food. Would highly recommend.

Best fish and chip shop I have been to so far in England. If they did delivery, Franky's would get their own slot on my food pyramid.

A year ago I gave Franky's 5*, but it seems to have gone off completely. May have been an off day, but chips were tough, small and tasteless. Fish over done and shrivelled with hard batter. Not good

5 star food, 5 star staff Can’t rate Frankys high enough. Excellent, fresh fish and perfectly cooked chips. Best in the county let alone Lincoln.

Great quality food. Generous portions. Fantastic variety of Vegetarian Options unlike so many. By far the best Chippy in the Lincoln area. 10/10.
