It was all decorated for halloween! Didnt catch her name but blondie at the bar was REALLYYYYY nice!!

We walked in offered a table straight away yes it was a wednesday afternoon the young waitress was polite and attentive the pub is oldy worldly and very clean the food was excellent I had stifado and my husband had chicken gyros could not fault it at all we did have typical greek dessert unfortunately I can't spell either of them but we didn't go for baklava well impressed definitely going again and best of all it's on the local bus route so we can both have a drink 🥂

Came across this pub/Greek restaurant by accident. Spending a few days in the area to celebrate the husband’s birthdays. Booked for dinner, the staff were very attentive, so much so that both birthdays were acknowledged by a complimentary desert with a candle in it. The food cooked by the Greek owner and his sons. Very busy pub, opens every day which in low season is a real bonus.

Had a lovely meal to celebrate two birthdays. It was a Monday evening so we thought it may be a bit quiet. Not at all, it was busy with a good atmosphere. We opted to go for a meze rather than individual meals and we weren't disappointed. Everything was piping hot and very tasty. The gigantes were particularly good. They remembered the birthday boys who received a complimentary dessert and we all had a complimentary shot to finish the meal off. The waiting staff were lovely and all in all we had a really good evening.

This pub was a brilliant in a lovely little village pub the staff were brilliant an food was brilliant an service was also excellent To say that it was my Mother's funeral wake they certainly did my late Mum proud on the day that it matter My Mum had lived at Netteham village for more than 60 yrs working at thee Police headquarters looking after the Police force there there where over a 100 people that my Mum funeral so she was well known. It is known that village for the Carnival every year that goes on in the village if anyone goes they will always want to go back every year .

Food and service were ok, but we were really put off by the amount of insects and bugs in the place. They were everywhere! In the ceiling/walls, inside the decorations, we ate in a hurry and left as quickly as possible. We were itchy for hours afterwards. We don't understand how the service didn't seem to notice/care. Avoid.

A fantastic find! Truly good food... And lots of it! Its like a Greek version of English dishes ! All the food was of good quality and tasted great. Very unexpected and very nice! Get there before it gets too busy 😲

My wife and I visited The Plough Inn for lunch on Sunday in order to celebrate my birthday. We were warmly greeted at the door, our order for drinks was quickly taken whilst we browsed through the menu. We were happy to await our main course arriving as we knew that these dishes are individually prepared, and we were not disappointed; just very pleasantly challenged by getting through our full plates. We found the flavours were deliously engaging and the whole meal a wonderful culinary experience. We look forward to a return visit.

Friendly pub serving an all-greek menu. Service was the highlight - we were greeted warmly (even as tourists), and the host on duty was friendly and attentive all evening. Food was excellent and in generous portions - only downside was the prices, which are definitely on the high side for what was basically elevated street food, albeit very tasty. No complaints otherwise.

First visit here & absolutely loved it. Food, service & staff all fantastic. We will be back & definitely recommend.

We went for the Greek food, very busy but seated promptly and service was brilliant. We have had better Greek food in the UK. The salad was diced very small, unable to tell a pepper from a tomato. The starters and deserts were very nice, disappointed with the main meal, diced salad, frozen chips and the pork meat was more like shoulder than a leg of pork.

My Wife and i decided to try and find something differant and we came accross the Plough on Facebook and though we should try it as it has the Grrek 2 Me restaurant upstairs. The food was exceptional as was the service, it had an amazing atmosphere and very relaxed.

Went here for Mother’s Day/ birthday, and had a lovely meal. Delicious Greek food, very nicely presented and excellent service. A complimentary glass of Prosecco was included for Mother’s Day. Highly recommend.

It was a bit rowdy due to the rugby being shown on tv but otherwise a good meal and visit. The whitebait were big and tasty and the chicken gyros very nice indeed.

Being frequent travellers to Greece and lovers of Greek food we though we'd give the plough a try. The food was fantastic, authentically Greek but elevated. Absolutely delicious from start to finish. Service was excellent. Will definitely be going back, there is an extensive menu to work through!

Lovely country pub with lovely Greek food. We came here last night with some friends who come regularly. This was our first visit and very impressed. We shared some bruschetta and some feta and spinach parcels as a starter. I had the beef stifado. It came with rice and chips and was a decent sized portion. Good selection of beers although I shared a bottle of house Cabernet. Service was good. No complaints. I would be very happy to come back.

The Greek menu is plentiful, and the food is very good. The service is attentive great lunch!

We had to attend a funeral at the nearby village church and had very little time to eat before the service. However the staff here were super accommodating and served up our food in super quick time because of our circumstances. The service was friendly and we were made to feel so welcome. The food was excellent quality and a good size at a very reasonable price. Such a great place and great service, we will be coming back here.

Our second visit to The Plough (we do not live locally) and there is always the risk of a place not living up to one's recollections but, in this instance, we were not disappointed. Because of the owners, the cuisine here is a Greek / British mix, which works really well. For us, it brings back memories of great holidays in Cyprus, but there are also sufficient safe and familiar dishes on the menu to please everyone. The atmosphere in the pub is welcoming and friendly and service with a smile. The food is great, good sized portions and delicious - the Baklava is to die for, so save some room!

A beautiful pub in a fantastic attractive village serving English and Greek cuisines. Our food was gorgeous especially my dad's steak.... He said his was fantastic! Good service in a homely little pub with a great atmosphere.

Lovely little pub, but we were not there to drink! Daughter's 18th birthday & she was missing Greek food. So, after a little Google, we chose the Plough - bonus; Greek landlord. Could fault absolutely nothing! Very generous servings, flavoursome & beautifully presented. Photo is of our starters. The mains I did not get chance to photograph as it was all so tasty looking, we couldn't wait! Last photo is of the chocolate fondant. Clean plates all round. I am asking Christos - please send me the recipe for the grilled aubergines & courgettes with the tomato sauce - it was perfect!!

We popped in for lunch earlier today and were quickly seated. Orders were taken and after a short wait our food arrived. My dad had the steak, my wife had the Stifado and I had the Politiko dish. All of our food was very nice, and the portions were large too. Service was excellent, very attentive, the lady with the cold did very well serving and helping us. The Greek menu looked extremely varied and I didn't know what I wanted but a staff member helped. The highlights of our visit were the pub itself and the beautiful village too...... Stunning little place with a stream running through it. A nice lunch in pleasant surroundings. Visited 30th September 2023

Delightful evening with disabled diner

Went to village pub as part of our find the best village pub comp for facebook and Google. They didn't mind the 50 odd scooterist that turned up and as we notify them in advance the most will put on a sandwich or chip cob as they get a lot of trad from this event. Unfortunately they couldn't be bothered so food we can only judge on by what we saw. Not very often we can score less than 5 or 4 but although it was a big place toilets were disappointing, service average as behind bar tried very well to keep up with all the people coming in, Girl serving tables obviously didn't like it and never saw her smile once. Couple of people asked about food and was given a rough answer. But was plenty room outside and most people found it pleasant out there especially in the heat as it was around 22 degrees and cooling as it got darker. Overall the group had a good night, locals weren't impressed which was a shame

Having recently returned from Ios where we loved the local cuisine, we decided to try The Plough, Nettleham. We'd been told by a resident that it was a fab place to eat and we weren't disappointed! The actual pub is a beautiful, traditional olde worlde type with beams and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, taking time to explain the menu to us. We had the meze and thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The food arrived promptly and the flavours were amazing. The lady who served us(I apologise for not remembering her name) was attentive throughout, removing empty glasses, dishes etc, ensuring that we were OK for drinks. We even decided to try desserts(something we rarely do) . We weren't disappointed. My favourite was a triangle shaped filo pastry (x 2) with custard inside accompanied with a scoop of delicious, excellent quality ice cream. It was heaven on a plate. This was our 1st visit but will most certainly NOT be our last! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!

Greek food in a pub. Marked Gf options and very clued up (I'm a coeliac) Separate fryer for gf chips, no extra cost for gf pitta. Lots of options, great choice and good portion size. One of my favourite meals out in a long while! Will definitely be back.

Wow!!! My husband is very skeptical about reviews left online but we gave The Plough a go and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing. It was freshly made and tasted delicious. The staff were very warm and welcoming.

I lived in Germany for 14 years and the Greek over there was fantastic, this Greek is just as good, reasonable price considering the quality of the food too, 10/10 for everything

A group of 8 of us from work went last night and the food was on time and delicious. The staff are very attentive and friendly as well. Good night all round.

Having been given a gift token for The Plough for my birthday, my wife and visited this pub - our first visit there even though we live only a few miles away! The service was very warm and welcoming, the food was very plentiful, and the tastes were beyond our expectations! Whether you are popping in for a quick snack or wanting to leisurely enjoy a sumptious meal, you will not be disappointed!! We will definitely be returning!!

Absolutely fantastic visit her for our family get together. The warm welcome wasn't just as you arrived,the staff were always there for you if you needed them. Our food was beautiful and so hot and fresh just massive portions so unfortunately we couldn't sample the dessert menu but we will definitely be back. Set in a lovely village this pub is a must place to visit.

Well they had non alcoholic Guinness - great choice and toffee vodka flavoured pork scratchings which as my friend pointed out “mmm these taste way more than just fat and salt, the sugar really adds to it” he was right. I just poured them onto a requested saucer and then the syrup over the top - job done. It had a real vibe to it this place. Good local links, such as the shop next door - which I think is the food but am not sure, lovely outdoor area and good old fashioned British pub! Thank you

Wonderful Greek food and service.

Birthday visit for food at the Plough with family. Had a couple of main dishes there before on previous visits (which have all been delicious), in particular the moussaka. We opted for a meze this time and ordered several dishes including, honey feta, giant beans, tipsy prawns and chicken and mushroom a la crème, although our favourite was the honey and mustard chicken (tigainia I think?!?)! Staff super friendly and a lovely homely feeling to the pub. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

BEWARE FOR THE STING IN THE TAIL. A nice meal, maybe a tad expensive. The sting in the tale and what will stop us making a revisit is the 10% service charge automatically added - a bit naughty really! , ( it states optional ) but is it really ? when it’s added automatically who wants the embarrassment to request it’s removed. We usually tip, so the tips not the problem, it’s the assumption that is made that you want to tip - The bill should represent exactly what you ordered & have spent in line with the prices on the menu and then if you feel like tipping for a nice meal and or service you do so. To top it off, we put the pound notes on the saucer and the waitress collected it and said “ do you want any change”. The money should have been taken counted and the three pound change returned and if we wished we would have then left it. Disappointed and spoilt the experience really and as a result we won’t return.

Return visit after 25years! Still a lovely pub with lots of character. The bonus is the Greek food. It’s fabulous. Good portions and well cooked. Excellent menu. Washed down with Batemans ale. What could be better. The service was also great; friendly with a smile. Won’t leave it another 25 years.

Wow. Called in for lunch and made a mistake (no mistake) of ordering a starter and a main in each. The portion sizes are truly big! We were not expecting that amount of food. But every bit of it was delicious! Will we definitely be calling back here and bringing the kids next time. Amazing fresh Greek food and a great choice on the value. Certainly value for money.

Had an excellent lunch after checking for somewhere near Lincoln to eat. We made the mistake of sharing a starter of hummus, as main course was huge and no need for a starter. Hubby had chicken kebab which was moist and very tasty. I had the lamb burger which had a hint of mint and was delicious. Service was friendly and helpful.

First and last visit Sandwiches are awful. Cheap white bread, not very nice generally. Beer ok though, but won't be returning. Black Horse across the way much nicer

We went to celebrate an anniversary with some Greek food. It was a chilly, wet night but the radiators were on full blast and the bar/dining area was warm, welcoming and pleasantly busy for a Thursday night. The service was really friendly, fast and efficient and the food, as always, plentiful and delicious authentic Greek... just like the very best holiday meal.

Good atmosphere although a little crowded when playing darts. Prices seemed a little expensive for a village pub.

This was a true hidden gem in Lincolnshire. Best Greek food ever, amazing service, reasonable prices! Not to forget the homemade toffee vodka they sell, which is to die for. Will definitely be returning for a second visit when back that way.

I have been meaning to try this place for ages as I love Greek food. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and It will definitely be one of the regular places I visit.

Family get together in the bar after we had chosen the Plough for lunch. Some of us were not local to the area. Special price 2/3 course menu for us OAP'S if we wanted. Excellent choice from both menu's. Food was excellently cooked and served...

Take away needs improving for sure. The website doesn't explain what you get included at all. Ordered the pork gyros tray . When it arrived it was basically 80% chips. 5% salad 5%meat 10% halloumi So good amount of haloumi but hardly any meat and...

I’ve been here several times to eat because the Greek food is excellent. It’s a bit strange eating Greek in an olde worlde English pub, but still very enjoyable. Food was a little slow to come out on my last visit & they’d sold out...
