Lovely little place and great staff

Been a regular here for quite sometime. However, the last few lunches have been awful. The hygiene has also dropped. Wont go back to just throw food away. Dissapointing as was once a cracking cafe

Fantastic breakfast in a lovely setting. The best salmon and scrambled eggs I have ever had. Pet friendly along with a dog sausage for your fury companion. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to grab a coffee.

Quite possibly the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Extremely bitter & burnt flavour, almost undrinkable. If you’re going to use a professional espresso machine, the staff need to know how to use it properly and take a bit of pride in it.

Quayside coffee shop, is a lovely, clean dog friendly cafe. The food is great, we go on a regular basis, and have made friends with other regulars. This place is well worth a visit whether your local or visiting Lincoln, you won't be disappointed im sure.

A lovely chilli with jacket potato for lunch. Very nice indeed.

Nice cappuccino and lovely cakes, called after a walk from pyewipe sat outside as the sun was shining still a nice cappuccino and still a reasonable price.

Delicious home made scone, friendly cafe, this made the perfect stop off A57 / A46 Lincoln with indoor and outdoor tables by a relaxing marina.

Very pleasant cafe with friendly staff. Unfortunately the hygiene was not good. The member of staff using a drying cloth which was very dirty. Also put over her shoulder near her long hair. Dried frying pans then glasses.

Hottest latte ever and a second sausage would have got it 5 stars

We had breakfast here to escape the poor offering at our hotel. We weren't disappointed - really good especially the bacon and the service was great

I invited my mother and partner to go here today, took one look at the area where they prep food and walked straight out again as I didn't want to risk getting food poisoning. The prep area for food was so dirty and disorganised, raw meat left out the fridge and left uncovered. As soon as I saw this I had to tell my mother it was too risky and didn't feel comfortable to eat there so we went to a nearby pub instead. It would not suprise me if people have had food poisoning from here before.

Still a Really nice popular little coffee shop, great surroundings, great staff, definitely use again to catch up with with friends.

OK, we got there about half an hour before closing time, but the service wasn't bad, just indifferent and average. Coffee was bland but expensive. It's clean and neat and OK. Great place if you like motivational signs.

Unfortunately not the best full English breakfast, 1 egg 1 Sausage, 2 bacon, mushrooms and Tom's, ½ slice white toast and ½ slice brown toast and you have to pay extra for black pudding (95p) For £9.95 not great Also I'm not a fan of Tom's or mushrooms they didn't do substitutes which is a shame. Also had a runny white even after asking for it to be cooked on both sides. Nice location though just shame about the food. (The one Herby potato in the photo was one my friends that was a £1.95 extra, ouch!)

This cafe really is a gem. The food was well cooked and piping hot. There were no issues checking ingredients for me (allium intolerance) and plenty of choices available. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was clear that many of the diners were regulars and some brought their well trained dogs in as well. For me there was only one small negative - a really large TV on the wall. The sound was off whilst a show was playing but I still found it intrusive and much preferred the music playing. If we were in the area again we would certainly go back as we had a great experience both times we visited.

Always a warm welcome here from the owners and staff and a good selection of food from meals to snacks and cakes

Nice place for a coffee ☕ and snack

My first visit here today. Coffee and catch up with a friend. We each had coffee first then decided to have some lunch, my friend had a salad and I went for sausage panini and we had a pot of tea to share. All very nice food and drink in a lovely surroundings. Nice that we had umbrella at table to keep off the 🌞

Have visited Quayside Coffee on a number of occasions and it is variable - at times very good, other times not so good e.g. runs out of items on the menu, closes early unexpectedly. Food hygiene a bit questionable e.g. staff do not wear gloves when cooking / handling food. Staff are very good - helpful & friendly.

Lovely location. Friendly, fast service with good wholesome food served up at its best. A great choice on the menu :)

My friend and I called in after calling at the Solicitors. We initially were just having a coffee but decided to stay for lunch. She had jacket potato and I had bacon and cheese panini. Delicious and amazing value.

Went today for coffee and breakfast. All freshly cooked and coffee the best. A hidden gem overlooking the water. This place deserves to do well.

This has become a real favourite of ours prior to walking into Lincoln. The staff have been lovely on each of our visits - as well as being very efficient. The perfect mix of being friendly to you - irrespective of whether you are a regular - and providing excellent service. The coffee and cakes are just divine. The apple pie in particular today was amazing. Whilst not yet having had the chance to sample a breakfast or lunch we have had a good look; definitely tempting!! All in all there is absolutely nothing not to like about this place.

Magical little find! Stopped by for coffee while out walking the tow path - was going to get takeaway because we had the dog. But no! We were invited in dog and all. Dog was particularly happy to be given a bowl of fresh water and some personalised menu suggestions including fresh sausages (which she was agreeable to). We had ended up having lunch there and it was excellent, prices exceedingly reasonable and service was superb. Will definitely return.

Ideal place to have a coffee and something to eat after walking your dogs along the canal. Becky took the cafe over a few years ago and what an improvement. We love her sausage rolls. Sometimes the service could be a bit quicker if you were in a hurry. Gentleman happy to have a photo took of his breakfast which he said was thoroughly enjoyable and frequents the cafe. Another bonus, dogs are welcomed.

Decent coffee shop. Desserts were tasty. Hot chocolate was good, but delivery was poor, chocolate syrup while good should not get on my fingers while drinking.

Lovely staff in a great spot, excellent food and coffee. A lovely place for a meal or just watch the world go by. Sitting outside in the summer is highly recommended. In November, not so much!

Just returned from having a very disappointing lunch. 45 minute wait to be served. Apparently husband's meal was delayed as they were waiting for the toast, which when it arrived, hadn't even seen a toaster and was ripped to shreds where they had tried to butter it. Not worth the wait.

Lovely area and very pleasant staff. Waited over half an hour for a full breakfast and a bacon and cheese pannini. We were informed of the delay when they served our drinks. Overpriced, and my partner had to have her beans and mushrooms warmed up, which took absolutely ages. I had finished my bacon and cheese panini, which had only one rasher of bacon in it. Half a rasher in each half, before hers came back. Wouldn't go again

Nice cafe with plenty of outdoor seating some of which undercover. Serves breakfasts, brunch and lunches. Good array of hot and cold drinks available. As other reviewer has said drinks arrive promptly but there is a wait for the food to arrive. Not a problem for us but you would have to request they come together otherwise.

Been there several times with family members and friends. All were very impressed with the food the location and the very attentive and friendly staff. Its great to have a lovely coffee shop with reasonable prices on our doorstep.

They have nice coffee but the cake was not fresh. It was like purchased from Iceland! I asked them about it and they just said sorry. No replacement, no refund or suggesting an alternative...

Stopped here for a coffee whilst visiting a family members boat. Asked for a takeaway coffee and 2 bottles of Diet Coke. Came to nearly £8.00! The lady serving was really rude. I would hope to put the attitude down to being busy and stressed and that they aren’t normally like that… The coffee was too hot to hold in the paper cup and I luckily had some tissues to wrap round so I could take it to the car. (Yes I would be annoyed if it was cold before people say but I expect to have the ability to actually hold the drink). I’m not sure of the coffee bean used but it had a bitter burnt taste to it. I did have an Americano so it may be nicer if you like to have milk. Not somewhere I’d want to rush back to.

We thought we would head out for a bit of lunch and as we got close it looked over busy with no social distancing inside from what I could see, also the staff didn’t have face coverings (I know they don’t have to by law but when they were going to tables they were really close to customers so they should be using face coverings) most other places seems to so we headed on to harbour lights and they had Covid measures in place. Real shame

Quick coffee stop. Good coffee , quick service, a little tired decor but the best of all, staff acknowledged us when we walked in and thanked us when we left. Lots of other establishments could learn from this. Manners cost nothing. Well done team!

Lovely cafe at a great location at Burton Waters. Very reasonably priced. Had a lovely jacket potato and a huge pot of tea. The staff were very friendly and they offer lots of daily specials such as lasagne, chilli con carne and cottage pie as well as the jacket potato, sandwich and panini menu.

Our daughter took us here for coffee after we had travelled to visit her at University. Parking is free for the and the location is really quite tranquil. It has a homely feel and staff are really friendly. I add it’s dog friendly too which is a big plus ⭐️ We got there at 11.45 and was a little disappointed I missed the breakfast menu by 15 mins. (In fairness I didn’t ask but just went off the menu times), it was possible the staff may have obliged if I asked, so my fault not theirs. We ordered coffees and my wife had a flavoured latte, our daughter is vegan so she ordered a latte with soya milk. Didn’t see any vegan dishes on the menu though. This is a pity as my daughter loved the location and is she is autistic, it would have been a good place for her to visit regularly. I ordered a hand carved ham sandwich with whole grain mustard. This came with a salad garnish (with dressing). The ham was truly hand carved and the bread was super soft and fresh. My wife opted for the jacket potato with cheese and beans which she seemed to enjoy. She finished her lunch off with a piece of Ginger cake which seemed fresh and she enjoyed. The piece was quite large. Total bill £19.50 which wasn’t too bad I thought.

Picked up a Pizza and Garlic bread for takeaway, to eat on the boat at the Marina.Coocked and prepared fresh.Thin base was really light, and the meat feast topping was very generous.The cheese garlic bread packed a punch with the garlic.Excellent food at a very reasonable price.

Great cafe - good food, friendly staff and very ‘dog friendly’. Home prepared food reasonably priced and open 7 till 7 every day. Well worth a visit and would thoroughly recommend.
