Very nice Hotel, friendly staff very clean and modern room and a great breakfast.

Very good clean hotel, breakfast good, staff lovely, only downside is if you like a drink it's a taxi ride to the main centre, having said that there are a few nice pubs in the vicinity of the hotel, would stay there again!

Let's start from the point that it is a 100% BEATLE hotel, it is located in the Penny Lane neighborhood and if you watch the video of the song, you can even distinguish where the building is. It is our 2nd stay at the hotel, and we would happily return, the breakfast is a la carte and delicious. There is a 24-hour reception so if you arrive late from your walk, there will be someone to open the door. The decoration, the facilities are wonderful. It is worth staying in this place.

Friendly staff room nice and clean

We had a week's stay at the Penny Lane Hotel and loved it. Staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was wonderful and you can't beat the location if you want to see some of the sights that were the inspiration for some of the Beatles songs. The rooms were good size but there is no safe in the rooms. Lots of restaurants close by and close to public transportation.

The room was very clean and comfy. Nice place if you want to go to the city center. Buses a few meters away from the hotel. The staff was super nice and we felt welcomed.

Really nice hotel. We only stopped for one night. Was clean and tidy and friendly staff. Only downside was how hot the room was on the night, but it was a really hot day when we stayed so that can't really be helped! I'd absolutely stay again when we head back to Liverpool! I'd just bring my fan this time!

We used to come here for breakfast a fair bit, but they've stopped doing it for non guests now which is a shame. Loads of Beatles themed decor and memorabilia in the resteraunt, worth poking your head round the door for a look.

Just back from a few days away at The Penny Lane Hotel, the room was spotless ,bed was large and comfy. All members of staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was well worth it and I enjoyed my fry up both mornings. We needed to check out a bit later than the normal checkout time and we weren't charged anything extra for this. All in all a lovely well run hotel and will definitely stay here again

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights from 19th to 21st March and had a wonderful stay. H.otrl was cleanest hotel I have sted in. The room was large room and bathroom was very modern and clean. Breakfast was made to order and ingredients were of a good quality. Chris was perfect host and he was very helpful. This is best hotel stay I have hag. I will definitely return to this hotel. Very clean and fresh. Breakfast room was a bit chilly but room was very comfortable and warm.

Have stayed here twice now and cannot fault the place. Lovely clean & airy rooms. Tea & coffee facilities available in the room. A very good breakfast is served. Staff very helpful & friendly. Car parking available just around the corner. Would definitely recommend Penny Lane Hotel. We will be coming back.

Great location! The Penny Lane Hotel is at the heart of Penny Lane and well worth staying in so that you can soak up all the atmosphere of the area. Play the song and visit the sites such as the barbers and the bus shelter. Rooms 7 and 8 face the bus shelter and the church where Paul McCartney's brother got married. The traffic noise is intrusive but if you are not in all day then it's not a problem. The staff are great also. The rooms are large but a bit basic and the shower is.... Well not the most modern but it does work. I have stayed twice and would stay again

How do you turn a Travelodge into a Beatles themed hotel? Simply stick a few photos on the wall, decorate the entrance lobby and call it a dining area, oh and don't forget to put your prices up. Night shift manager was really helpful.

My wife and I stayed here last weekend and we both thoroughly our 2 night stay. A friendly welcome, clean room and a great breakfast, what more do you want. The hotel is situated on Penny Lane directly opposite the roundabout mentioned in The Beetles song 'Penny Lane' and the barbers shop and bank also mentioned in the song are just next door. Liverpool city center is easily accessed by bus which takes 10-15 minutes, although one day we did walk into the city which took about 45 minutes. We had a room at the rear of the hotel and we heard absolutely no traffic noise at all. We are planning another visit to Liverpool next year and we would definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Nice place to see all Liverpool's attractions by a short taxi ride highly recommend plus next to a fab place owned by Keith the tavern bar. Great welcome on arrival by the staff on desk plus helpfull with our parking of our bikes loaded from travelling via Ireland 10days and back to Wales.. Will be back asap Try it you'll be impressed

Perfect breakfast, nice and clean place.

Absolutely fabulous. Would have given 5 stars if owner hadn't come in at breakfast and had an argument in front of guests eating breakfast at the time. Left a little disappointed but it was maybe just an off moment but wouldn't let me stop staying there again. Xx

Hotel was clean and attractively decorated. Room was spacious and with comfortable beds and nice modern bathroom. However, hotel appeared to be locked after 12am which caused us some panic upoj our return from a 30th birthday party. We did gain access but it appeared as though we may have wakened the owners. Also check out was at 10.30 am which we had not realised. This is really quite early and late check oiut was not possible for us which was disappointing.

Lovely large room with 4 poster bed & all amenities. Good location. Lots of Beatles memorabilia. Very good breajfast, though limited choice. Nice bar on site.

Can't fault it, the staff are always very helpful and polite. I've never stayed at the hotel but have used the restaurant many times and will always go back.

Great place to visit for fans of The Beatles

My parents two weeks ago and my grandparents this week stayed here while visiting me. They all had an absolutely fantastic stay. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is exceptional and the staff are absolutely something else. Even my grandmother (a woman notoriously difficult to please) was blown away by the top level of service. If I could give you six stars I would! Thank you Penny Lane Hotel.

Great price great rooms friendly staff

Visited penny lane hotel for breakfast. The staff are really friendly and very efficient and attentive. The breakfast was clean and piping hot. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Very reasonably priced. A clean and inviting place will definitely be going again

Great hotel with amazing staff. Have only been here a few hours and can say the place is amazing. The man at the front desk couldn't be any nicer and has been so helpful, and this is him only being here for two days. For the price this is a gem of a hotel for a one or two night stay

Had a pleasant afternoon here after meeting up with a friend. Lunch was lovely and arrived quickly.

It's a cosy hotel with a retro decor and friendly staff. The rooms aren't very big but this isn't a big hotel.

Interesting place. I recommend it but it's a little rough round the edges. My fellow traveler had no mattress cover for two nights even after telling staff after the first night. Great location, nice room, terrible shower and no mattress cover. 7/10

Great location near many restaurants send shops but not situated in the city centre. Very relaxed approach to breakfast which is great if you have had a late night.

Fair price, clean rooms, lovely helpful staff, nice full English. Great for our one night stay for a wedding near by.

Called in today for breakfast for first time. Great service, great food at a good price. Will be back
