Food was amazing and the service was great, the food was a little slow to come out but the food and the service more than made up for it. We would definitely go back!
I ordered lunch from Tea Time in Thirsk, and they delivered it straight to my office—fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! The toasted sandwich was perfectly crisp with a generous filling, and the fries were golden and crispy, just the way they should be.
The quality of the food really stood out, and it was clear that great care had gone into both the preparation and presentation. The delivery was prompt, and everything arrived in perfect condition.
If you're looking for a tasty, well-made lunch with great service, I highly recommend Tea Time. I'll definitely be ordering again!
My partner and I came here to 10am on Saturday for some breakfast with our dog. We absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, the ladies were so lovely and the decor was incredible blues memorabilia… my eyes lit up as a musician! Our dog, Shadow, also loved some treats from the ladies. We will be back for sure!
The summer of 1976,brilliant pub we met a couple from Scotland, Archie and Brenda, they were staying in the pub Archie played the drums. Returned 2 years later and bumped into them again, hence saying we had 2 brilliant holidays and spent most of our time in the Ship, it looks as if it's still going well, A lot older now but we're going to drop in again soon.🙂

There's a good variety of flavours for wings and decent options for sides. The flavours for the wings are strong and flavorful but the chicken was quite dry and didn't carry the flavour well. At a guess they were fried from being frozen. The chips (We had sweet potato ones and regular ones) were decent but nothing special.
There was also only one guy working when we were there which was a bit odd considering he had to run the front and the kitchen.
A lovely relaxed, quirky, slightly bohemian little place.
We popped in here for a late lunch as we were quite hungry at the time. The menu seemed adequate enough and there was an option of Gluten Free bread for any of the sandwiches.
I went for one of the HUGE sausage rolls along with a bowl of fries. My wife had a BLT on gluten free bread. It wasn’t the best of breads (as not many gluten free ones are) but the sausage roll was delicious and the fries plentiful!
We were also tempted by the selection of cakes. My wife went for one of the three GF options, a Peanut Butter Brownie and I had a Raspberry Frangipani. Both were delicious.
Great little bar, staff are all nice talkative friendly folks, and some great beers on tap.
There's a couple guitars on the wall for anyone who can play to entertain others, though could do with a restring.
Minster Fish Bar is situated in the town, on a street with limited parking, but just around the corner—less than 100 metres away—is a large pay and display car park, so no problem there. The shop was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the staff were very happy, smiling and polite, helping customers feel welcome, as we did.
The large haddock was something very special. Fresh, thick, and cooked to perfection in a light, crispy batter. The mushy peas, although a little liquid, were sweet and delicious. The curry sauce was also a treat—thick, with a nice kick, but not overly spicy. The battered sausage was one of the best I'd had: a nice thin beef dripping batter on a quality, meaty sausage. The potato pattie was delicious, containing nice little potato chunks, and the herbs added a subtle flavour. The cheese on the cheesy chips was lightly matured and not overly salty, and there was plenty of it, and the plump chips.
A good serving of beef dripping-cooked scraps finished the meal off perfectly.
