Visité recientemente para tomar el té y pastel y nos alegramos de que lo hicimos. El té estaba bueno y el pastel era impresionante. Mi esposa tiene el pastel de queso vasco mientras yo tenía el pastel de queso pistacho. Ambos fueron excelentes. El restaurante está muy bien situado cerca del Minster, el personal es amable y la cafetería es cómoda, limpia y acogedora.

Good food and very friendly staff

Had a lovely relaxed breakfast as this 1st floor restaurant in Fenwick’s York. Table service with lovely and attentive staff, delicious food and coffee - the perfect start to the day!

Great place, great value, staff were faultless

Great little bar with a wide range of drinks, beers and cocktails. Generally a slightly older crowd so no crazy hen/stag parties - just somewhere you can come for a relaxing chat with friends.

I have been ordering from here for years and never once had any issues. I understand that it's now under new owners but the customer service i received today was actually appalling. When we made our order on the phone phone we asked for them to bring the card reader over, which has never been a problem before. It is over the road from us. When the guy arrived, he was moody and defensive when I said I was paying buy card and saying thay we asked to pay cash, that was a lie as we absolutely did not. Then when he had to go back for it and come back he was still rude and and passive aggressive. I said to him that he had a bad attitude and he replied with a snarky comment about it being my fault. I hate to leave a bad review and am actually really disappointed as I've been a regular customer for some time now. I doubt I'll be using them again after that experience

Ordered and picked up 3 large pizzas for my family. Pizzas were excellent and fairly priced, good toppings and crusts etc. no complaints, was very good for the price.

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestro plato de sushi vegano, tuvimos tofu de sal y pimienta con esto, y kimchi. Terminamos con unos cócteles preciosos, uno de lichi y otro jamaiquino. El personal era muy atento y no tuvimos mucho tiempo para esperar por nuestra comida muy bien presentada.

We first visited Izakaya about 9 months ago. We absolutely loved it. We have said several times since, we must go back. When we discovered it was closing, we were extremely sad. I am so glad that we booked on for the last opening day. Everything about the evening was just perfect. The service- friendly and personal. The food was simply delicious, really thought through and the flavours impeccably matched. I'm so pleased to hear that the staff are reinventing the wheel with a new concept. Thank you for having us (we were thrilled to be the last customers you served ) and we can't wait to see you in your new venture.

Easily the best chinese takeaway I’ve been to, always ready on time regardless of how busy they are and every dish ordered is excellent.
