Pizza Plus in York

Ordered and picked up 3 large pizzas for my family. Pizzas were excellent and fairly priced, good toppings and crusts etc. no complaints, was very good for the price.

Tried to order twice on just eat ,on both occasions they took our money and orders got cancelled. What's happened to this place? Boo

So where do I start. Service was terrible the guy said if u fall alseep I will charge you £5 even though I was talking to him. Didn’t melt the cheese on cheesy chips then got angry when we asked him to melt the cheese. So overall probably stay as far away as possible.

If only I could give minus 5 Stars...Pizza Plus Plaza gives you the worst food nightmares. Food and service are a disaster! Don't go, unless you want to call in sick for work and be traumatised by the bad service.

Great place, always fresh, generous portions. Some horrible youths stole my order off the delivery driver and Pizza Plus remade my order and delivered a new one in 15 minutes. Very fast service and delivery. Recommend the chicken parmesans and chicken and bacon pizza with bbq base. Thank you :)

Very disappointed this was my favourite take away for a long time. A few weeks ago I ordered a chicken shish wrap and the chicken was pink I rang and complained to then receive another wrap with still pink chicken in.

Our group of six ordered 2 pizzas and 2 doner kabobs. Service was friendly and quick. Food tasty and well-priced.Well done!

Worse than one star if we could. As a family celebration the staff made the end of our very pleasant evening very upsetting. Rude staff with terrible service and at best comment - sub-standard food at a hefty price. Awaiting official apology.

Stopped in for take away pizza when staying nearby in York. Pizza was good. Very friendly and hard-working group in there. Love supporting people in places like this.

Food was cold, no salad in the kebab literally just bread and meat. Garlic sauce is basically just sour cream. Really not good! Disappointed as normally I really like the pizzas here, but the kebab is literally awful 😩

Interesting that no real reviews for several months. Probably as no complaints, so I have used this place several times in the last couple of months, I have no complaints, very good service, good food, is warm, delivered on-time. Great service!

To be honest good pizza 🍕 for gone 2am in the morning. Better than the rest not saying names like,. By the way I don't get paid to do this.

Brilliant Kebab everything fresh highly recommend it

Called in an order at 2:00am to be picked up 30 min. before advertised 3:00am close. Upon arrival at 2:32, l was told "sorry kitchen is closed" as if I hadn't called in and ordered food ahead of time. In essence, either they chose to not make my food when I ordered it, or didnt care to sell it to me for some in inexplicable reason. Either way, I was left hanging without food (and no other option to get it, south side of the Ouse) 20-30min before their advertised closing time. That being said, this is generally a wonderful shop that I willingly give my business to with friendly staff and good food. BUT tonight I experienced a genuinely callused and egregious lack of respect for the consumer. If I cannot depend on them to fulfill their orders then I cannot and will not give my future business.

Want to start by saying that the food was nice, this rating is about the service. The girl taking our order was excellent but the man at the grill was not happy at being busy and was angrily shouting things at the girl. We asked for it to be delivered and left. Thought our order was expensive as well.

These simple premises - which are clean but slightly lacking in glamour - are well worth a visit - quite simply because the pizza is delicious! My husband and I had a takeaway pizza each and it was nicer than many pizzas we have had in Italian restaurants. The Base was lovely - not too thick - toppings were generous and the cheese was good quality. Well done. A first class, hot and tasty pizza. What a fantastic find. I thoroughly recommend it.

The best pizza delivery in York, much prefer to chain pizzas such as Dominos. Wide selection at a very cheap price and tastes great every time. Rapid delivery and friendly staff. Missing one star only because sometimes the pizza's can be a bit too cheesy for my liking every now and then, and their garlic yoghurt isn't that good, but everything else is of a high standard and tastes great.

There was an error with my order (wrong pizza) - The chap on the phone was friendly and sent out, very quickly, the correct pizza and as a token allowed me to keep the other one. To top it off, the pizza is delicious! Thanks very much for the service.

Went here a week ago I think. Anyway it is hands down one of the best pizza takeaways going. Nice to have a pizza where they DONT skimp out on toppings. Also was a good price. Easy 5 stars from me.

Lucky to get a one star worst thing I've ever tasted. I asked for garlic sauce and given the most sourist white slop ever with not a hint of garlic. To be told then you should of asked for garlic mayo. As a visitor to the city I obviously didn't know there was a difference between garlic sauces. I've travelled the world and never have i anytjing like this in my life. Defiantly not be on my returns itinery next time i visit york .

Placed an order through just eat for some hash browns to collect which went through all ok, but a couple of minutes later I recieved a text saying Micklegate Takeaway have rejected this order. It's absolutely disgraceful for them to turn business down won't ever return!
