Great service, friendly happy and very polite. Food was quick and tasty.

Alice was a really lovely server and the food was fantastic. Wasn’t too busy when we went at about 8pm.

Our waitress was Alice and she was wonderful. She checked up on us to make sure our food was alright and was positive throughout the night. Service was fast and food was amazing!! Would 100% recommend!

We were served by Alice, who was really friendly, patient and attentive.

Fab dinner at Bella Italia Losing a star for service as our server disappeared with our dessert on the pass. But the manager sorted it out, no worries there. Really good knowledge and handling on allergies Cute little coke bottle left on the table to let all servers know we had an allergy. All food was brought from the kitchen by the manager, with a little allergy flag. Food was a good portion size and very tasty.

On returning many months later the food is beautiful.

Lovely meal for my son's birthday. Kids meals are really small (even the ones called 'large'!) so both our children aged 8 & 10 had an adult pizza and ate almost all of it (we've got a couple of bits in a box to take home). Abbie was really friendly and helpful.

We had a great meal, food was lovely and service was amazing. All staff were great but we had Abbie as our main server and she was brilliant. We have 3 kids, 2 of whom have additional needs and one has a nut allergy and she just made the whole Experience so easy and relaxed. We will def be going back it was a really positive experience.

Review 18th Sept. 2024 "Bella Italia" Clifton Moor, York I have reviewed Bella Italia before, but not this one. With such excellent service, it's no problem to add a review. We enjoyed the decor. It's modern with a hint of the industrial and it is pleasantly lit with a modern ambience. As always, the food was excellent and we received friendly and fantastic service. Overall, yet another fabulous visit, and we hope to return next year. I'm so glad we are regulars at Bella Italia. Thank you, Sara, for looking after us.

The food was delicious and all of the waiters are amazing and respectful I would definitely go again!! Even the new waiter Riley who served us is really kind and amazing at his job and is cool.

Absolutely lovely. First time I've ever been (shocker!), but couldn't fault it. Food was outstanding, Sara was attentive, polite and always available. As always in these situations, the staff make the place. Chefs in the kitchen and hosts out front. Please look after them because they do your brand proud.

I went here for a birthday party and let me just say this out loud- IT WAS AMAZING!!! (I haven't been here for a while so do still have Team Pizza and burger?) It has been many years from my last visit to a Bella Italia and it seems that the prices have exploded, as have many food outlets, but the portions seem to have shrunk by about 50%. I have enjoyed better ready meals from a supermarket compared with the offering on Saturday. I am not surprised that the place was nearly empty. The only other customer we saw did not eat more than a couple of mouthfuls before leaving the rest and paying up and leaving the venue. I think it will be many more years before we chance another visit.

I cannot thank you enough for our lunch earlier this week. Less than a week ago our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. It's been a huge shock to us all and it's definitely a new way of life. From the second we arrived with you (we mentioned it on the booking) we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome or comfortable! The man that greeted us was lovely. Even the added touch of adding an allergen aware bottle was fully appreciated. Also the flag in the meal itself was great! There was lots and lots of choice for her on both the main menu and the dessert menu! Thank you to each and every one of who made our first official gluten free meal amazing, stress free and relaxed! It was delicious. We really enjoyed it and cannot thank you enough for our experience! Fully enjoyed the new addition of Spinach and Ricotta cannelloni for myself too! I wish you all the best and we are already booked to be back!

Food was delicious but the service from Connie was excellent! Made dining with 2 toddlers so much easier.

Nice evening meal plenty of choice my friend had 2 starters mushrooms and salad with cheese whilst I had spinach and ricotta cannelloni.

Really fast service in and out within 45 minutes. Food was lovely, ordered 3 meals and asked for our 3 starters to come at the same time and it did, very quickly. Amazing place, thank you very much.

We visit the Clifton Moor branch of Bella Italia almost every time we come here, and it has always been brilliant. The staff are always lovely and friendly, and the food is always brilliant. Today our lovely waitress accidentally put a dish through wrong, and the both her and I believe her manager were so good about it. They offered for me to keep the incorrect dish to have whilst I waited for my correct one, and take home the leftovers, we said we didn’t want it so instead they gave us some complimentary dough balls to tide us over which was a lovely gesture. The staff were so apologetic and really did their best to make it up to us even though it really was no problem at all! All this to say a huge thank you to Connie and Ben who were particularly brilliant tonight (though they have both served us previously and been great too!)

I visited here as part of one my friend’s birthday celebrations in Wednesday and I ordered from the fixed menu. I had a delicious starter of Mushroom Al-Forno and an amazing main of Gamberoni pasta. Almost as good as actual Italian food.

Didn't eat there, all because of the appalling waiting staff attitude. Went in there on Sunday lunch time, premises only 20% full, most tables already set yet waitress astonishingly tells us to go and sit in the corner and wait 10 minutes while she sets tables. What!! Never heard anything so daft in my life! Why not just usher us to a set table and let us look at the menu!? Walked out and won't ever return!
