We had our Golden Wedding Anniversary party here. The room holds 50 guests, we provided our own music with a playlist through a speaker. The buffet was excellent and we had a lot of comments about how good it was, so a big thank you to Sharon & Nick. Everyone had a great night.

Use this venue for meetings and could not be more satisfied with the staff and service. Very kind people that recognise you and value your custom. Prices are very reasonable, the building is clean. The facilities are all beyond expectations, and they go above and beyond for you. Will continue to give them my business long into the future. Thank you again.

The Holgate has a relaxing, friendly atmosphere . Great hosts and competitive prices.

Christening party: John and the staff could not have been more helpful and more friendly. The buffet was above what we'd expected and everyone had a great time. We'll be back.

Booked function room months in advance only to be told when I went to pay three weeks before that the committee had decided to cancel the booking, too late to organise somewhere else. If you want to be sure book elsewhere......

The holgate club id by far the best social club around its friendly and homely vibe makes it feel like you right in your front room having drinks with your freinds I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone it's outstandingly the best place I have ever been!!! Just like to thank the staff and the stuard for a perfect experience!!!
