The Lord Nelson is a nice cosy village pub. There is a wide selection of draft beers lager and cider, including three hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones I tried were in excellent condition. The pub is very popular for meals, I haven't tried the food, but the menu looked very tempting. The staff are very welcoming, and the pub is dog friendly.

Really nice little restaurant. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was delicious! My son had Bolognese which he said was 'the best'. The atmosphere was nice, lovely easy listening music. The staff and service was very good. Thank you.

Stumbled across the hall while completing the York Cat Hunt. Highly recommend popping in 1) to see the hall 2) to have a lovely cuppa and a sit down.

Sick of the menu delivery guy cutting across my garden to next door. This is not the first time, now my fence is leaning over. I am disabled and can’t fix it my self. Maybe the Asian guy could come fix it?

Great food and amazing service - the express menu was excellent value for money

We came for a bottle of wine and some soft drinks for our toddler. The Apassimento we had was excellent and they were some fantastic wines to choose from. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful- cleaning up several juice spills! Definitely coming back on our next trip.

Fantastic, home cooked traditional Chinese takeaway. Couldn't recommend more highly.
