The Fox Inn in York

Didn't stay there, I'm staying locally. Tried to book a table for Sunday roast but was told that they no longer serve meals. Also their website shows a menu and no mention of food no longer being served. We did stay for a drink and the atmosphere was friendly. It is a child and dog friendly pub.

Lovely pub, friendly staff, fabulous food and great price. Saturday steak night, best steak I’ve had in ages. 2 steaks, 2 deserts and bottle of Shiraz £60 with tip. Would definitely go out my way to return.

Called in for Sunday lunch. Nice food but a bit basic.

Lovely place, Saturday steak night was absolutely gorgeous. Stayed at the Church view down the road which was disappointing to say the least. Coming into your friendly establishment certainly improved the situation. Going to check out your rooms next time. Really nice staff and service.

Great little pub,right in village near B and B

Paid a visit to the Fox inn on Friday 29/3/24,a fine local, as for the food, excellent, the chips were exceptional, highly recommended if you're passing through Stockton on the forest 👍🤓

Lovely little pub. Full of locals but really friendly and welcoming. Decent selection of beers etc, great food and prices as you’d expect, not over the top.

Excellent Sunday dinner with a good choice of meats, with nice veg. Brilliant friendly staff, and a very warm welcome. The lamb is particularly good. Really nice pub, with a lovely homely atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely lovely, service was great food was fantastic we had steak and fish and chips. No complaints, will be back next time I'm in area
