The best restaurants in Ecclesall Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

For an authentic English experience, this is the place. I enjoyed many breakfasts there while I was in Sheffield. Shout out to Amanda! You can have anything just the way you like it. It's a definite yes from me.

I have been a fan of Eccy’s for a long time. The food, especially pizzas, is always amazing! However, I ordered a Calzone tonight, and it let me down!! It was burnt on one side, and I couldn’t eat it. For a great place like Eccy’s, you’d better not make your customers disappointed!

The food is amazing, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is great at Manzil Spice. My favourite dish was the massala fish which came sizzling on a bed of onions on a hot skillet - and the chicken bhuna was lovely too. I couldn't eat it all as I had too many poppadoms! We went for an early dinner on a Saturday and there were already plenty of other tables filled, so I'd say it's a good idea to book.

Service… appalling! I will start by saying they werent busy… We had to ask to be served, when 2 of the 4 starters arrived, we had nearly finished them when the other 2 arrived. We ordered one lot of bread.. got 3 ;at £6 each) For the mains…3,steaks arrived, 6 minutes later the fish dish arrived, THEN we waited a further 5 minutes for the veg and fries of which they didnt bring what we ordered. When questioned all we got for an answer was, ‘we had run out so brought this instead’ didnt get asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert, so just paid. I have been to many restaurants of this calibre so well aware of what to expect, but definitely wont be going back, but if you want poor service and food served in separate time zones then this is the place to go.

Been coming hear around 20years! Amazing the tandoori butter chicken is SPECIAL!!!+ I even got my boyfriend hooked...now we are both fat and happy 🤣

Had the chicken chettinard which was the best curry I've ever tasted. Also had samosa chaat and it was incredibly tasty. Lovely staff. Really enjoyed our evening

Pequeño café encantador - uno nuevo para nosotros. Excelente café, y lamentamos no haber podido encontrar espacio esta vez para algunos de los sabrosos pasteles que se exhiben. Es agradable poder sentarse fuera también, especialmente porque es popular y por lo tanto puede ser un poco ruidoso : ). Un lugar al que volver, definitivamente.

Gran café, dos empleados fantásticos que son muy amables y nos cuidan. Asistimos a una reunión de negocios todas las semanas. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar de elección. Esta área ha necesitado un buen café durante años y este es excelente.

Well where do I start …… ordered king prawns tempora batter just to keep us all going x4 …after waiting what comes out normal prawns in normal batter …… as an owner take note us Britons don’t appreciate being ripped off end of ……. King prawns are large and tempura batter vertually see through i had a very polite response saying this would be looked into I appreciate this very much and I hope when I go next time soon the king prawns will be acceptable size and the batter will be as stated tempura thankyou 😀🫰

Our meal was perfect from start to finish, Jarka was really friendly and accommodating and provided great service. Very child friendly also.

Popped in (this evening) having just got off the train later than planned. Quick and friendly service. Tasty chicken balti with a bit of a kick (which I like) pilau rice and chapati as you would expect.
