The service from the staff on the desk and the team on deliveries is always fantastic they do anything they can to accommodate your requests, the food is always fantastic , I’ve been using Takdir since 2005 and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Keep up the great work.

My wife and I have used the Takdir takeaway for over twenty years and in that time have never once had a bad meal. The quality and quantity of the portions are absolutely wonderful as are the staff. They are so incredibly friendly and efficient. Arif, Naz and Aidy and the fabulous chef please take a bow, you are all superb. The dishes served are so incredibly fresh and so very very tasty. The portions are extremely generous. It really is the best Indian food on the planet. It really does not matter what you order (my wife and I have ordered most dishes on the menu) everything is just fantastic. Takdir, we will continue using you for another twenty years. Thank you for your superb food and service.

Hmm? Ok but not good. Aloo Gobi was cauliflower with chips chucked in. Lamb tikka was mostly sauce and a couple of pieces of meat that I think was just dry beef? All a bit sad nobody enjoyed it.

An Indian takeaway with a good range of Indian foods on the menu. Meals are good quality. I particularly like the Special Biriani and Peshwari Nan bread. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

Friendly restaurant with an incredibly diverse menu from pizza and kebabs to traditional Indian cuisine. We had the latter starting with the mixed starter for two followed by chicken chana tikka masala with pilau rice which was full of flavour from a variety of different spices

First time we have had a takeaway from Takdir, the food was really nice with good portion size, amazing garlic naan & good pickle tray. They did delivery when they had said but it was a wait hence the 4⭐⭐s, I would order a good hour before you want to eat, knowing this, will definitely be ordering again, lovely food.

Decent typical British Indian Takeaway. Pickle tray is above average. Curries and nans good; curries had strong distinct identities. Will eat again.

I ordered a vegetable byriani as I thought it a bit pricey I xected good vegetables, but all I got was potato and rice, a tiny bit of carrot and a single strand of spinach.

This place is perfect. The food is first class, the staff are polite and efficient, and twice recently we have ordered for a delayed delivery and it was delivered on time!! I cannot fault them, best indian takeaway ever. Highly recommended.

We have been having take away from her for more than twenty years. Maybe they have trained our palates, but whenever I try another Indian restaurant or take away, it’s not as good. I even had them cater a massive four main courses meal for a party for 70 and everyone loved it. Can recommend everything I have tried, probably too many to mention, but the Korma, the bahjis, the Nan are al especially delicious.

This for me and my partner is the best takeaway food in Sheffield. Always polite on the phone when talking your order. And really authentic Indian food. Great value for money as well.

After weeks of wanting a curry, I was elated to see that Takdir had reopened during this period of lockdown. The gentleman who answered the phone was polite and efficient. The meal arrived in 45 minutes with the delivery driver wearing gloves and placing it on the door step and stepping back until we had retrieved the meal. The food was lovely and hot and the meat was really tender. We will definitely be using again.

My favourite option for Indian food, and I have tried many!! Staff friendly, nice guys and the food is consistently very good indeed. Try the keema paratha, they are to die for, the best I've ever found in Sheffield or anywhere else.

Have used Takdir for many years, and the food is always OK, occasionally its great but on the odd occasion it's less than OK. Last night it was less than great. Onion Bhaji's were stone cold, and the poppadoms just had a strange odour like the oil they had been cooked in was old or stale. Had to leave them all. Chicken in the main course was good, but have nioticed that they are now increasingly cut into small pieces from how they used to be. Will roll the dice and use again in future, but such a shame that the quality is not consistent and is really hit and miss,.

I feel awful saying this, we have been loyal customers for years. But this restaurant has changed belonged recognition. The meal was awful tonight and last week ( we thought last week was a one off !!) we will not be ordering here ever again

Had a Take away last night. we had 3 dishes with all the trimmings. I travelled all the way from Chesterfield as i heard how good the food was. i defiantly wasnt disappointed. really tasty and the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. so over all great food,great service and really good value for money. 5 STARS!!!

Food took over an hour to arrive. This would of been fine if wasn't all cold when did eventually arrive. Onion Bhaji was soggy Prawn Bhaji Puree had 2 prawns in it. Veg Naan had 2 pieces of pepper in it. The Sag desi was overly sour. Overall it was pretty poor. Was looking forward to this as the place was recommended by a friend but will not ordering again.

Very clean and modern, the staff were dressed as you would expect in a restaurant. The food was very tasty and plenty of it.

Had two chicken dishes, one of them a chef special Rice was slightly burnt Chicken was unrecognisable and inedible Had two mouthfuls and then threw away Other was slightly better won’t Be returning here again

I've been a regular for the last 10 years and they do the best onion bhajis I've had by far and an excellent value for money mixed grill. Excellent, friendly service and speedy delivery. Extensive menu. I've tried many Indian takeaways and restaurants over the years and find this to be by far the best.

We had friends over and had a takeaway which we often do the food was delivered as promised and was as good as ever. We ordered lots of different starters and main plus some vegetarian side dishes of which the sag paneer is a firm favourite. There was lots of chicken and lamb in the dish’s (Takdir never skimp on their meat / poultry content) and we had lots of different tastes from mild to hot the achar chilli masala is especially good and the chilli chicken. Can’t wait for the next time.

The food was fabulous and plentiful, the delivery service was incredibly fast and i would have happily have paid more. Veggie friendly and will definitely be ordering again!

Consistently great food and service including delivery. Always go for Apna style which you need to request. I prefer chicken cooked in the sauce rather than tikka added after. Recommend the hot tikka starter and prawn bhuna puree.

Gorgeous Indian cuisine - restaurant standard - excellent keep up the good cooking. Our favourite is the totally Devine fish curry with the lemon infused rice. Strongly recommend. Everything cooked freshly but worth the wait.

One of my favourite dishes a Chicken Karai was good but mushrooms were absent which is puzzling, and annoying, so Takdir loses points for inconsistent recipe contents.

Called up about my order as it was over an hour but staff didn't apologise and were very rude. The portion size was good but tasted like ready meal quality. I will definitely not be ordering from here again.

We tried this takeaway because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. Lovely food and good service. Although it is a takeaway and not a restaurant so don’t expect to go and have a meal.

My partner and I love Indian food and when we are having a takeaway we always choose Takdir. Really good food, reasonably priced and courteous delivery service who turn up, more or less, when they say they will turn up. Cannot fault them.

Amazing taste of the onion bhaji at the start. Unfortunately half way through i pulled out a long black hair and found a broken part of a nail in it. This really put me off but i still enjoyed the chicken masala.

We had several different lamb based mains. The meat was really tough in each meal. You could not cut it wi the side of a fork and it was so chewed it was dreadful.Avoid.

We pre ordered our food as there were 12 of us in our party and we got the food delivered. The food was hot and really delicious. I would highly recommend it although as we always pre order and get it delivered I can't comment on waiting times for a standard takeaway order.

This is an excellent take away and in my opinion must be one of the best in the area. We first used them by chance but they have been our first choice since then. They have a good menu, they deliver or you can collect, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the meals are reasonably priced. The meals that we have had have been excellent and that is not an exaggeration, everything about is good

The food at the Takdir is so incredibly consistently excellent. My wife Annie and I order a take away twice a month and have done for more years than I care to remember. Whatever dish we order is cooked to perfection. They use the freshest of spices and everything is delivered piping hot. The service cannot be beaten. Arif, Naz & Aidy are so incredibly nice and friendly it is in our opinion unique to find such wonderful food and service every time. Popped in for a takeaway with my wife whilst staying at the rents. Quite fantastic. Let's get the not perfect out of the way. The Prawn Bhutan Puree was bland, but I think this may have been a mistake as the rest of the meal was phenomenal. Chicken Shahi Mango was a new dish for my wife - sweet Mango creamy taste. Lason Chilli Chicken was just the right amount of flavour with fantastic dried chillis of the kind I used to have in India. Even the Dall Massalla was of a high standard and the breads (Peshwar Naan and Paratha) were great. All for a very reasonable price and a pub next door to have a drink in while you wait for your meal to be cooked. What's not to like? People of south west Sheffield, order from Takdir now!

Had our usual curry on Friday night.Just as good as ever and would never contemplating going anywhere else for a takeaway. Some of the Indian Restaurant in the area should take some tips.

I will eat my hat if there is a better Indian takeaway in Sheffield than "Takdir". We have been regular customers for the past three years and have never been disappointed. The quality of ingredients is very good indeed and portion sizes are generous. I feel that some real culinary love goes into the cooking because the staff at "Takdir" are well aware that if they let standards fall, people will not keep coming back.Last night my son and I had onion bhaji, vegetable rice, vegetable balti, lamb dopiaza, poppadoms and two chapatis..The bill came to £16.70 but there was plenty ,left over for me to have a warmed up lunch today and as usual it was all delicious.I have eaten curry meals all over the world and have tried most establishments in the Sheffield region so when I claim that this is the best Indian takeway in Sheffield I believe I am saying it with some authority.

A takeaway with restaurant standards.A consistantly good service and standard of curry. i have been using this place about twice a month for my curry treat since it opened. previously id use a number of different takeaways with various results. the menu here is varied and not all based on a hideous balti sauce but actually cooked to order from spices and ingredients that are recognisable and tasty. the chef always adds special requests like "extra corriander" and the naan breads are really good. Even on busy friday nights.highly reccomended, certainly better than takeaway food.

we use our favourite indian takeaway usually twice per month and it is always excellent, nice people and good food, exactly what we want.

Its a mixed bag at Takdir - some dishes were reasonably good and others pretty lacking both in taste and preparation. Their Handi dish is rather good - lamb chops in a thick sauce that delivers a spicy kick and quite satisfying. The starters that I tried were all pretty dismal - most were oily (onion baji/samosa/puree) and lacked proper spicing. I was quite impressed with their website. It allows you to select the dishes from the menu and when you've finished all you have to do is ring and read out the selection from the basket - so full marks for a pretty handy website. Overall its an average takeaway.

We have been coming to this place more than 18 months now. I must say food and service are great. Slightly overpriced but you can't criticise the quality of the food. No heartburn in the middle of the night!

This is a takeaway not a restuarant though the food is restaurant standard.Our Friday treat is a curry from Takdir. Very welcoming and great service.Food is very very good although slightly pricer than some of the competition in the area. Well worth the extra money.Friday and Saturday nights are very busy so get your order in early iof you don't want to wait an hour for delivery.

This has to be one of the best Indian takeaways in Sheffield. The food is really good and the size and quality of the chicken is exellent. Some really good flavours and a few nice alternatives. The onion bhajis are great. We order a dish each ( 3 of us) with 2 rice and this in enough to last for two separate dinners if you get the poppadoms and bhaji as a starter and some breads. (All goes in the freezer.) Very good service.

Overall not a bad option but not the best in the area. Somewhat bland if you make the wrong choice, but nevertheless passable.

We order from Takdir a lot and have done so for many years. I have never come across a place that is so consistently good. Never had a bad one. Highly recommended.

We have used the Takdir for approximately fifteen years and have take aways every other week. In all that time they have never once disappointed us. I have Tandoori chicken and a Lamb Biryani, my wife has the Garlic chicken and we generally share one of the very large garlic naan breads. My biryani nearly always feeds me again the following morning (I love curry for breakfast) It is packed full of lamb and the accompanying vegetable sauce is always perfectly spiced for my requirements. My wife describes her garlic chicken as the best Indian dish she has ever tasted. Overall, it is superb value for money. Arif, one of t he owners, is always full of fun and his timing for delivery are spot on. Well done to all, you can be assured of our continued custom.

Pretty good food to be honest I had the lamb chops for starter and a chicken balti for main. I thought they were both really nice and I will defo be ordering again. I would have Given you 5 star but the delivery time was a bit long and I also think akbars in Sheffield is much better but they don't deliver, but all in all great food and the best round the eccelsall rd region for me. Even though the Takdir is nearly three miles away, the food is good enough for us to come back time and again (I'm absolutely hooked on their Moglian Taste chicken and Naga Mirch Massalla dishes). Their chef specialises in 'home dishes'.... meaning they are individual creations that are based on real Bangladeshi food, as opposed to the normal run of the mill Indian menus you can find anywhere.The staff are a real asset, they are friendly and offer really helpful advice about choices of dish. I've had my food delivered, but nearly always choose to drive in, place my order and then go for a cheeky beer in the pub next door while I'm waiting (never over 15 mins by the way).Their website offers a full menu in PDF for download to your computer or phone, and it's well worth a look just to see the different slant on Indian/Bangladeshi food that the Takdir offers.Hope this was helpful for you.

Have been ordering from Takdir for years now. Although we have had a few mix ups with our food (especially receiving our neighbours and them receiving our order), the management have always strived to keep us happy. Whether that be free items off the menu, or money off our next visit.The food has always been consistently great and never fails to impress. Definitely one of the best places to get a curry. We've been using the Takdir for so long I can't remember when it started. Almost always restaurant quality meals from a takeaway - the staff are friendly, will order anything you want, advise on combinations and the delivery guys are always spot on and friendly. We know our curries and the kitchen is very good. Even our eldest daughter, who can't stand spice, is addicted to the Korma sauce. [I don't understand how or why, but they cook it the way she likes it.] It get's busy, so expect to wait an hour for delivery on some nights, but that's a good sign as well.

I have to say after the reviews on here I was expecting something out of the ordinary, It wasn't. It was bland and I found a long hair in it. Wish I'd checked the council's 'scores on three doors' before ordering because it only has 1 star for hygiene. I'll not be back.
