Had a lovely night at The Tramshed last night. We had the cauliflower wings, kimchi dumplings, katsu mushrooms and salt n pepper chips. All the food was amazing! The staff was very welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend 😊

Poor acoustics with reverberation of noise as a result of which people have to raise their voices to get heard.Generally not a relaxing place to bein for long

Korean Dumplings: Spiciest and tastiest item we had tonight. The filling was lovely and the sauce complemented well. Different from any other Korean food I’d had before but what do I know? Definitely ordering again. Chinese Dumplings: Flavorful with a nice kick from the Schezuan peppercorn and filling (comes in a slightly bigger portion than the other steamed dumplings). Not ok for mushroom allergy ppl but I will be having again. Pancakes: I ordered it expecting buchimgae… dead wrong but that’s what happens when you make an assumption that the menu did not claim. It was like a garlic paratha with bang bang cole slaw on top. It was interesting and delicious. Kimchi Dumplings: Didn’t taste like kimchi (was it really fermented or was I confused by all the chilli oil?) but was pleasant in its own right. Korean Cauli Wings: Sweeter than I like but the crispness of the battered cauliflower was exquisite. Coming back to try the rest of the menu and the extensive bar!

Very busy when we went, about a 50 minutes wait for food, which we were told when ordering, so not a problem. Food was as good as always.

Really great vegan food in a lovely atmosphere, a great range of drinks (and always really good local craft beers), and the staff are super helpful and accommodating.

I really liked the atmosphere here. Seating inside and out so you can sit in the beer garden on nicer days. Seemed quite small from the outside, but it's got a decent amount of space inside.

recently moved to the area. me n fiance thought we'd try the pub next door, its become a favourite of ours :) great place really nice beer garden. recommend literally any of the dumpling dishes lol

A great place for veggie Asian food and drinks. The food is often oversalted, but generally the dishes are good to great.

I've been going in the Tramshed for years. It has a good selection of beers, the staff are friendly and it has a good vibe. You can also order food, which is really tasty. It's vegan, but don't worry about that. Even if you're not, like me, it's still well worth ordering.

Always have a fab time at Tramshed. Vegan Food by Dumpling City is absolutely 10/10. Savvy b is gorgeous. And vibes are *chefs kiss*. Perfect for any kind of celebration .

Loved it here! The food was outstanding (fried dumplings were a highlight). There’s a great selection of drinks. We sat upstairs and the atmosphere was lovely, though a bit hot and stuffy when full without windows open! The downstairs is really nice too and the decor of the whole place is great.

When I arrived 28/01/2023 tonight at 7.25pm there was a notice that closed for a party. I needed to wait for 5 minute only but was 1st told I could then another staff said I had to stay out in the cold,

The food and atmosphere are excellent, the staff are very obliging and the seating is very cosy. The beer range is vast and they support non-alcoholic beer too which is great for the drivers. Put this on your list to visit in 2023, it’s a must see.

Great, friendly service. Tasty food A different experience

Dropped in for an early bar on Friday teatime and was pleased to see they had a great selection of draught lagers and beers. We enjoyed a pint of Peroni in the cosy area with radiators to keep us warm and I returned to the bar for a second round. 3 bar men were all making cocktails and I waited to get eye contact with them with another couple and a lady who had just entered. None of the barmen acknowledged any of us as we waited and continued to faff around with bits of lemon/ice/etc. After a good 5 minutes the bar now had about 15 people queuing and more coming through the door. None of the three ‘rude mixologists’ had even turned around to see the ridiculous amount of people waiting to be served. I was very annoyed at this point and looked across at our group to suggest that we leave. They put the thumbs up and we went to the crown just round the corner. Lovely place but shoddy bar etiquette. Suggest some sort of self service bar facility if you want to keep the customers happy.

The Tramshed just gets better and better, love this great local bar. The staff are lovely and go the extra mile to ensure all their customers are happy - a furry friend customer was served treats and water on Saturday, how good is that! The range of drinks on offer is second to none and the cocktails really imaginative. Plus the vegan food is delicious and there is a 3 for 2 offer on Saturday 4-6pm. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Great urban bar with a dining area adjoined, serving delicious and inexpensive Chinese/Korean vegan food. Good music, craft beers and excellent vibes.

I write reviews so rarely on Tripadvisor, but I enjoyed my experience here so much I felt compelled to! My mother and I had time for a quick bite early evening so came here, drinks and food ordered immediately at the bar by wonderful, friendly, and attentive staff. The ginger beer brand they stock is delicious, and compliments the food so well considering the pan-asian menu. The food came when it was ready, like tapas, and it was all delicious. And for an added bonus a very kind person, who may well be the chef, even answered my question about the filling of the fried dumplings- I loved them so much I wanted to try and make it at home! I will be back!

Just had a fantastic visit to the Tramshed. Delicious food.. no, I mean DELICIOUS food. Fully vegan but the flavour and quality of the menu needs nothing more. Top Korean sauce! Friendly staff. Great drinks, lovely atmosphere. I'll be back!

Food is fantastic - I recommend the Korean dumplings and the bang bang tofu. Everything is super flavourful and staff are amazing. Music is fantastic and really adds to the vibe.

Honestly, hands down the best vegan food I’ve ever had. I’m not vegan but I wouldn’t have even noticed. Get the cauliflower wings and the Karaage mushrooms, you will not regret it 🤌🏼

This is a great bar which is totally chilled-out and unpretentious playing good music and serving the most delicious vegan food and a wide range of craft beers and ‘proper’ unusual cocktails. The service is spot-on and the staff are enthusiastic and proud of the offerings available and so they should be. The Asian influenced small plates are bursting with vibrant flavours and each bite is a taste sensation! We will continue to visit and highly recommend!

Whether you are vegan or not, the food is immense.

Great food, beer and staff... What more do you need?

Lovely atmospheric bar, with super friendly staff and a great selection of beer and wine. (Wine is better than nearby pubs, much as I love them too). For those who want to remained distanced and outdoors to avoid COVID, there is an outdoor area at the back that is pleasantly sheltered with some lovely plants. The new food is absolutely incredible: dumplings, cauliflower wings, a beautiful steamed dumpling and brilliant slaw. I was persuaded to order the bang bang tofu and I have to say I'll never hesitate over it again, absolutely top notch. Everything on the menu is vegan and a great deal of care has been taken to include gluten free options and to ensure the kitchen can cater to those with severe food allergies. Can't thank these guys enough for all the care they're taking.

Great to be back in this lovely wee bar. Excellent for relaxed Saturday afternoon. Super friendly, zero pretensions and a very good selection of beers, majority of which are from local brewers. Worth a visit if you're local or touring.

The dumplings are amazing, staff is supper friendly and lovely atmosphere.

Best vegan Mexican I've been to. Well, only vegan Mexican I've been to, but they beat most mainstream Mex food I've had into the dust. Seriously, go anyway regardless of your dietary preferences, you won't notice the absence of animal. Side note - when I went they were having some stock issues so a fair bit of the menu was off, but what with one thing and another that's hardly their fault.

Since there "refurb" it's just gone down hill,it used to be nice and cosey now it feel like maccys,most of the old drinks unavailable,staff hasn't got much of a clue about any of there drinks and spoiling the old decco it just topped it off

Popped in for a drink and were pleased to see they served food. We had the tacodos and burrito. Most impressive was the service, the guys who served us were really friendly and attentive but not over the top as it was quite quiet at the time we went.

Great bar. Great atmosphere. Love it here. Generally great wine but on the last visit we tried 2 diferent bottles and both not good. Hopefully back to usual high standard next time.

It's really easy to review Tramshed as every single thing we've eaten here has been delicious, and we've tried most of the menu having visited 3 times in the last couple of months. Everything on the menu has a meat or vegan option so great for everyone. Really friendly and helpful staff providing quick service!

Ooh this place is so good I wouldn’t like to Promote it as it’s just the best and a walk away from home. Cauliflower is so good I will not share it I like a plate to myself. Little plates great poke bowls are amazing it’s is fresh zinging and great environment bar attached is brilliant too great choice of beers and gins thank god love it must visit can phone and book a table now

Great food and service. Went for birthday dinner with friends, cant comment on the drinks because it was a wet evening and we couldnt be bothered with the effort of going next door to order!! The waitress was very friendly and gave great food suggestions. Food was slightly slow but it was worth the wait, I had seabass curry - hot but delicious! Slightly chilly inside though.

Cool bar with a wide range of beers & drinks. Much improved decor. Friendly. My only two slight criticisms are the restaurant part is a bit cold & they stop doing Pinchos & onion bhaji bar snacks, but you can't have moon on a stick I suppose.

The food that arrived was delicious. The cauliflower is incredible. But it’s difficult to enjoy a meal when the service is so unbelievably horrendous. My friend ordered the vegan noodles. Not only did it arrive 25 minutes late, it was crowned with an egg! An egg! Not a vegan egg. An actual egg! This is when things got crazy. The chef, 25 minutes after our other food had arrived, in a seeming admittance of ineptitude, delivered the dish himself with an apology. However, when pushed on whether it would be taken off the bill, the response was simply ‘why?’. Astonishing. After some considerable wrangling, my friend was able to get the dish removed from the bill but several other oversights were not compensated for. This characterises all my experiences of this restaurant. Food amazing, service WTAF.

What a great wee spot! Extensive Thai menu with vegan options for all dishes. Good beer, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.

I would give 4.75 rather than 4 if I could. Very local eatery. On complaint is that you can't book so have has an occassional wasted walk down the road. But food is great, love the small plates (chicken karage is very good) and the sushi grade tuna is up to scratch for the rice bowls. Prices are good, last went with a southern mate who was godsmacked that the bill was for 3 of us rather than just him. You have to go next door to the bar to order/pay for booze (licensing thing) but very good choice. Booze is expensive for a bar but cheap for a restaurant. We will be returning again, and again and again.

Went early evening and already doing brisk business.Relaxed vibe.Friendly and attentive service.Amazing range of craft beers and lagers.Quirky:go next door to bar to order and then drinks come served through hatch.Tasty fresh Asian style food cooked beautifully.Delicious sauces. Can choose either small plates or larger bowls of rice or noodles.Highly recommed red rice curry with sea bass. Altogeher really enjoyable and great value.First timers but DEFINITELY will come again

We had a few drinks in the bar , where you are spoilt for choice then headed next door for food. I have to say cauliflower is not a favourite of mine but I was blown away by the Korean Cauliflower ! Will definitely be returning soon

Lovely East Asian food with great service at a very reasonable price

Unique healthy and mega tasty Asian - inspired recipes in a nice atmosphere. Bar and kitchen are separate and you have to go next door to order your drinks which makes it even more fun. The decor shows the love of the owners for the business. Definitely on the top of my list for eating out in the neighbourhood.
