Had a lovely time visiting monument coffee, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I decided to take my mum out for a treat day. We picked a table, chose from the menus. We picked what we wanted, ordering a skinny latte, hot chocolate and a tea cake and found some extremely good deals on food and drink combos. Lovely little cafe with a family feel. Be happy to visit again! Has lots of things to fit lots of different people and half the price of your industrial coffee shops. Experienced a wonderful change. Plus helped a local business.

Inquisitive about this little place that was once a workshop where gravestones were made, I called in for lunch a couple of weeks back. The environment is quirky and there are outside tables too. Obviously, one of my prime interests in any cafe is how much things will cost. There were no menus on the tables in the Monument Cafe and the display boards didn't show prices either. It's embarrassing to have to stand at the counter asking how much things cost. I ordered a New York deli toasted panini with side salad and a large latte. It came to £7.60. It was at that point I realised why prices are not clearly displayed. Although the lunch was fine it was obviously overpriced and I shan't be hurrying back for that reason.

In as simple a synopsis as I can muster this place is just perfect! Great place to sit outside in good weather and a cozy characterful and individual interior with a range of eclectic furniture pieces in/on which to enjoy your snack and drink when the weathers more typical....i.e overcast or rainy! Not that you'll care here, as this place is a wonderful cure for the bad weather blues. ...heck, if you like the table you're sat at you can even buy that too! Simply, brilliant!

Vertu unpretentious relaxed cafe. Serving own roasted coffee and home made cakes and shop bought snacks too. Friendly staff. Attractive cosy place. With a pleasant courtyard with handpainted tables and chairs with blankets. A little noisy due to ecclesall rd, but not oppressively so. I had 7 hills coffee which was very tasty and hot😃. Pistachio cake was nice as well. Where it was not too thick the icing was the perfect sweetness. Definitely coming again, will recommend.

This tiny little cafe is very special, we have been a couple of times the first time we spotted it we almost preformed an emergency stop. It is a squeeze with a pushchair, but we managed to get in, they have a great selection of coffee which I believe they roast themselves, the Philly beef panini is gorgeous, we even try to replicate it at home, all in all an enjoyable visit, with lovely staff, drinks and food,we will go back soon.

We called in to buy chocolates and have a drink - sadly we found the hot chocolate inedible it was thick and gloopy. The chocolates were delicious however.

We had just arrived in Sheffield and needed a coffee. We were pleased we found this popular café which is located within Sheffield Cathedral. It is necessary to order with your table number at the counter and pay at the till. The coffee is delivered to the table. We enjoyed two good quality flat whites which cost £6.80. Thankfully there is also a toilet located in the café which was very appreciated after a long drive 😊.

I go to Fika every Saturday lunchtime. There is a reason for that. No matter what food I order it is always fantastic. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a wonderful little place, with a great atmosphere. Well done to all involved. See you next Saturday!!

Been meaning to call here for a long time while at the Northern General Hospital but managed it. It's very good, friendly staff and warm welcome. The menu is cafe style sandwiches, panini, etc. The food and drinks were very good hot and tasty. Really enjoyed it.

Le Blé is an incredibly stylish looking patisserie in the heart of Sheffield. The stunning cake displays are a feast for the eyes of any passer by. So I was very hopeful that we were about to have a delicious breakfast. Sadly the savoury offerings do not even begin to live up to the entrancing visuals. The menu was challenging and cryptic, excessively so for what amounted to a range of sandwiches is a choice of breads and fillings. In any case, it did not prepare me for the crushing disappointment of what was served. My meal consisted of a borderline-stale roll filled with a thin layer of bizarrely sweet egg mayo, sitting upon a single square of the cheapest quality re-formed ham. In spite of being actually quite hungry I managed less than half of it before leaving in disgust. The decor and the coffee (which was acceptable) are the only things saving this eaterie from a one star review. I can't in all conscience recommend you consider eating here though.
