The fish and chips here are excellent. Fish in particular is the only place I've found that compares to Trenchers in Whitby, excellent quality, great value 👍

Fab food and lovely setting. A birthday treat at our local restaurant and the food was fabulous. The mussels in a thai sauce were wonderful. We had a treat bottle of champagne from lovely friends and it was presented with a little note at our table - very nicely done. Thank you.

Best mixed grill around..you pay bit more for it.but it's Quality. Good atmosphere. One of Britain's gems this pub

Amazing roast to be fair and very nice staff

Menu is a bit limited but the food was ok, requested hit sauce if some kind and they only do ketchup or mayo which was a bit annoying if you prefer something with an extra kick. They don't do anything on the menu that has any sort of spice just very basic flavours but all in all great service and atmosphere

Esta experiencia me la compré como regalo, y fue fabulosa. El tipo que nos llevó claramente ama su trabajo, nos dio mucha información sobre las vacas y tuvimos la oportunidad de acariciarlas. Al final del recorrido tuvimos una sesión de aseo con los terneros, ¡tan encantadora! Después de la excursión fuimos a la cafetería para probar una copa de vino de Whirlow Farm - sorprendentemente encantador, y un bollo de crema - desaliñado (pero podría haber hecho con porciones ligeramente más grandes de la crema coagulada). Si tienes la oportunidad de probar esta experiencia, fue muy agradable y está ayudando a apoyar la confianza en el trabajo que hacen.

Used to be one of our favourite pub in the area (more than 10 years ago) now is….ok, not much different than other pubs.

Excelente comida y café, mucho más barato que los cafés Ecclesall Rd. Los nuevos gerentes están haciendo un trabajo brillante y ciertamente seremos visitantes frecuentes.

We've been here a few times and know it's not the best food and drink or very fast service but we only wanted a drink so we gave it a go. It was raining and there wasn't much of a queue but we still managed to wait 15 minutes for a hot chocolate and a milkshake. Quite amazing the slowness of the service. It seems to be staffed by a load of kids who couldn't give a stuff.

Per title sandwiches not great and must have been £4 each or thereabouts which I think was greatly overpriced.

We went on a Sunday for lunch, we had been a few years ago but its much better now. The meats are lovely - plenty of choice for side dishes. Lovely dessert - I had sticky toffee pudding and a good liquor coffee to finish. Very reasonably priced food. Nice décor and atmosphere. Good staff. Clear ordering instructions. Easy parking. Busy but not a long wait really. Would go again and would recommend. Not posh dining but a good friendly family pub - many thanks to all.

Fiesta de 3, servicio muy lento pero el café no estaba tan ocupado (creemos que nuestras bebidas calientes se olvidaron porque los esperamos 20 minutos, al final tuvimos que pedirlas). La comida llegó casi media hora después de ordenar. Desayunamos Whirlow Pequeño, el único alimento caliente era el huevo frito, todo lo demás tibio, ¡las tostadas eran rebanadas muy finas! ¡El marido tenía huevos escalfados que eran gomosos y recocidos! Esperaba más de café, tal vez productos locales, pero desafortunadamente muy decepcionado, así que no lo visitaré de nuevo. ! ??
