The best restaurants in Dore and Totley Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Just popped in here for a quick pint on a Sunday afternoon. The barman (who I assume was the landlord) was very friendly. Beer was well kept. I had a pint of "Farmers Blonde" which was lovely. The pub is best described as "Traditional" and has a really friendly old school vibe. There were TVs showing the sport and a Snooker table and Dart board in the back. Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone. I bet it's nice on a Saturday night when it's a bit busier. Well worth a visit.

This was not the first time I had paid a visit to the summerhouse on each occasion the food and service has been perfect. On this visit with my In-laws the restaurant was busy we did have to wait longer than normal for our food but we were not disappointed it was delicious the service was excellent the lady who served us kept checking on us and was very friendly. I cannot fault the food or the staff everything was perfect 🤩

Ordered sirloin steak but was told they only had rump so went with that came out very under cooked then when it was returned and came back out it was the Worse steak ever like a sole off a shoe said I wasn't paying for it and they just said ok didn't even check to see if I had eaten it

Han visitado Seasons durante varios años y siempre han encontrado al personal alegre y muy atento. La calidad de la comida y el servicio para nosotros siempre ha sido excelente.

No hemos comido aquí por un tiempo, y nuestros amigos se han mudado recientemente local, así que reservamos última hora para el almuerzo del domingo! Wow! ¡Fue tan bueno! El pub estuvo cerrado por un tiempo y la gente necesita darse cuenta de que tiene nuevos propietarios que están haciendo un trabajo fabuloso! Tuvimos un tiempo increíble en el safari de vacas, Ash fue increíble y obtuvimos algunos buenos conocimientos de Helen también mientras pasabamos tiempo con los bebés! La comida y las bebidas en el granero eran increíbles y todo el personal era increíblemente amable y servicial! Lugar fascinante con mucha historia también, así que hay algo para todos

The Rising Sun pub had a lovely atmosphere, the interior was very nice, just like a rural pub! The cider selection was amazing and our meal was good, I'd suggest going a little earlier so you had more option on the limited menu! I would definitely recommend the pub to others.

very nice pub, with excellent staff, but let down a little by the food. Great pie, but poor chips.

Went here to celebrate my wife’s grandads birthday and I must say I was rather impressed. Decent food and good service. We sat in the big window overlooking the cricket field in the pub side which was nice. My only critique is the portion sizes are on the small side, Sunday lunch plate was dominated by a huge Yorkshire pudding and everything else was a bit thin on the ground, wouldn’t put me off going again though as the quality was very good, they also have green mountain on draft which was a massive plus.

As a coach driver, I like to explore hidden gems for food as Rugby club house's are expensive for poor food, so noticed that there was a Garden Centre nearby and went and located this place, inside was welcoming, and staff were very friendly the food I had was 2 Jacket Potatoes with cheese and beans and side salad, and a pot of tea, it came with an extra pot of hot water, which was appreciated and the food was pippin hot and delicious, I would definitely return and try other things out.

We've been here a few times and know it's not the best food and drink or very fast service but we only wanted a drink so we gave it a go. It was raining and there wasn't much of a queue but we still managed to wait 15 minutes for a hot chocolate and a milkshake. Quite amazing the slowness of the service. It seems to be staffed by a load of kids who couldn't give a stuff.

Per title sandwiches not great and must have been £4 each or thereabouts which I think was greatly overpriced.

We went on a Sunday for lunch, we had been a few years ago but its much better now. The meats are lovely - plenty of choice for side dishes. Lovely dessert - I had sticky toffee pudding and a good liquor coffee to finish. Very reasonably priced food. Nice décor and atmosphere. Good staff. Clear ordering instructions. Easy parking. Busy but not a long wait really. Would go again and would recommend. Not posh dining but a good friendly family pub - many thanks to all.

Fiesta de 3, servicio muy lento pero el café no estaba tan ocupado (creemos que nuestras bebidas calientes se olvidaron porque los esperamos 20 minutos, al final tuvimos que pedirlas). La comida llegó casi media hora después de ordenar. Desayunamos Whirlow Pequeño, el único alimento caliente era el huevo frito, todo lo demás tibio, ¡las tostadas eran rebanadas muy finas! ¡El marido tenía huevos escalfados que eran gomosos y recocidos! Esperaba más de café, tal vez productos locales, pero desafortunadamente muy decepcionado, así que no lo visitaré de nuevo. ! ??
