Good service but the shop itself was rather cold, we had to keep our coats on and left earlier than usual. because of this.

As a coach driver, I like to explore hidden gems for food as Rugby club house's are expensive for poor food, so noticed that there was a Garden Centre nearby and went and located this place, inside was welcoming, and staff were very friendly the food I had was 2 Jacket Potatoes with cheese and beans and side salad, and a pot of tea, it came with an extra pot of hot water, which was appreciated and the food was pippin hot and delicious, I would definitely return and try other things out.

Wishing to avoid Sheffield city centre, 'Meadowhell' and the like, I thought I would try Dore Moor garden centre for Christmas shopping inspiration. Before checking out the garden centre I popped into the coffee shop for a quick bite to eat and a warm drink on a cold, miserable day. The staff were helpful and friendly. The menu offers a good choice of hot and cold items and prices are reasonable. You can pay by cash, card or contactless. Good parking. Wheelchair access is available. Very pleasant visit.

This is a delightful coffee shop. I called in to find a friendly inviting coffee shop after visiting the adjacent Dore Moor garden centre. The seating inside and outside is well proportioned and is decorated in tasteful tones and very clean. The staff gave a warm welcome and made you feel comfortable on arrival. There is a good selection of hot food and sandwiches on the menu and homemade cakes. The service was very good and nothing was too much trouble. A relaxing friendly place to go with friends or family or just on your own, you will not be disappointed!

I went to the coffee shop after a visit to the garden centre adjacent. A warm welcome and really friendly staff. I had an Americano coffee and a delicious cherry scone with fresh cream and jam. Delicious! Well worth a visit they are also dog friendly which was a big bonus for me. This is a really great coffee shop and I will be returning soon !!

Went to visit to have lunch first then a browse. Firstly, coffee shop closed. Then notice saying you had to take a big trolley to help with distancing, not great when you just want to look at ornaments. Didnt matter anyway as 3rd sign saying only 2 people from a household so as a family of 4 we just left!

Good food served by very pleasant staff. Varied menu to suit all tastes. Very good parking facilities. The on,y slight drawback is the noise in the restaurant if it is busy.

My girlfriend and I popped in this afternoon. Although there wasn't a lot left, we had a slice of carrot cake each and a pot of tea. Both were delicious and reasonably priced and the young lady who looked after us was lovely. The cakes here are home made and melt in your mouth. Lovely place.

Went into this coffee shop for a cup of tea. One other small party in. Waited at a table for 5 -10 mins. Two young lads ignored us-more busy washing up in kitchen, even though they had seen us. Walked out in disgust when no one came to take our order. Very poor service.

Ordered 2x cheese and onion omelettes. Was so disappointed when the lady put them on our table, the food was nice enough but child portions. For just under £5, a little more would be expected to be honest. The staff was friendly, and the cafe was clean.... Just not a place to visit if you're hungry I'm afraid.

Popped in here after a long walk we were made to feel very welcome even in wellies. The soup was amazing and plenty of it. The cakes good too definitely worth popping in if your passing and a bit peckish.

We have been meaning to try this cafe for a while, so we called in at the weekend, expecting the cafe to be busy but it was nearly empty. There isn't a vast choice but the menu is adequate for a quick snack. We had carrot cake, hoping that the topping would be made with cream cheese as it should be (rather than butter cream) and we weren't disappointed. It was very good and the coffees were fine. For me, the decor let the cafe down. It has plastic table clothes and feels like eating in a park cafe. If it was smartened up a little it would create a much nicer eating experience.

Enjoyed a spot of lunch with a couple of friends at Dore Moor Coffee Shop today. Unlike some establishments, the slight tweaks we requested to the dishes we ordered were no problem at all. The Dore Moor Coffee Shop staff were very friendly and on the ball. I did not have to ask for a free refill for my cup of coffee, the lady spotted my cup was nearly empty and supplied me with a fresh cup. Our main courses, puddings and hot drinks were all very tasty and reasonably priced. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

Brought my mum for soup as our usual place was shut due to a power cut. Dore Moor Coffee shop has been refurbished but they are clearly trying to cut costs in the kitchen. The place was quiet but it took nearly half an hour to be served with soup. I felt really sorry for the lovely staff who apologised for the delay, apparently because they only have one microwave oven. I said get another but was told it has been refused. Talk about cutting your nose.... Get a grip Dore Moor!! The soup was good, when it arrived!

Popped into this branch before Treason at Sheffield Lyceum. Was very busy on first attempt, so came back. 3 staff on duty, too busy talking amongst themselves to get our order correct. There was no offer of a plate for a cold sandwich & then our Americanos were "forgotten". Watched a member of staff clean the rim of a mug with a napkin that had not been cleaned properly by the dishwasher instead of returning it to the dishwasher. When our coffee was finally done, it came with no milk, which I then had to ask for. There were also uncleaned tables & plates left by the public where coffee was collected presumably because staff had not cleaned tables quickly enough. Whoever manages this branch seriously need to look at customer service because it was non-existent. Dare I say they need to implement the kind of training that other coffee shops have?

This is a great cafe! Varied menu catering for all, freshly prepared food, decent sized portions and good prices. Well organised system for ordering and food came very quickly.

The pub itself is what you want from a traditional establishment. The atmosphere is good. Been visiting here for many years, both for food and drinks. Visited tonight for drinks with family, and it was quite visible how many customers had just drinks? For years we visited to both eat and drink, but now just for drinks? The food over the past couple of years has been awful, from burnt pizza to dry burgers etc. I was shocked but not surprised how few people were eating? It’s not a cheap establishment and has steadily declined over the past couple of years? It’s such a shame as the pub is great and the staff are lovely.

This place has turned into an absolute joke. The queue times are ridiculous and half the time there is only 2 people on, one taking orders and one making the drinks. Now they have changed their opening times and if you are seeing a movie after 7.30 you can't get a coffee now. We used to persevere because we like the coffee however the final nail in the coffin was the price increase! £7 for a venti cold brew! £7! however if you drive to meadowhall just around the corner you can have the same drink for £5.75! It's an absolute rip off! We will no longer be going!
