We had an enjoyable and excellent meal accompanied by a bottle of wine, all thanks to Malton Relish. For Valentine's night, we chose to 'Dine at Home' and ordered a dinner for two from Malton Relish. The meal was fully prepared, and the chef provided clear reheating and cooking instructions. The Truffled Risotto with Mushrooms and Parmesan was superb, and the Lobster Thermidor served with smashed new potatoes and a watercress salad was terrific. To top it off, we enjoyed an Espresso Martini cheesecake with fresh berries and pouring cream. The wine included was a MĂącon-Charnay, which was a perfect choice for the meal. This fantastic dinner for two was excellent value for money at just ÂŁ50. We loved our first 'Dine at Home' experience, and it certainly won't be our last. Well done to the Malton Relish team! Thank you for your hard work and attention to detail. Congratulations!

Large haddock, portion of chips and tried the curry sauce, all was quality, most would like the curry sauce, just a little too sweet for me, large haddock was indeed large, and very good, fresh. Chips are decent, good size all was ÂŁ13, although I need to get a regular and try the peas or gravy , great atmosphere and friendly lady serving, also very clean and room to park, il try this place for a while instead of thompsons, will be interesting to see the comparison in regular haddock/cod to Thompsons next time, Peasey Hill in all from what Iâve seen is easily on par with Thompsons and better in other ways, but those 2 so far by miles better than others in the area so far, thatâs including all that rubbish in York.:)

We have always really enjoyed meals out at La Trattoria and have eaten here many times before. We booked, inviting friends and their children to join us. Eaten here numerous times before and always highly rated it with Tom as Manager. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff and shown to our table, drinks and starters came efficiently as usual. But sadly this is where the usual vibe ended. The Calamari was dry and tasteless, although the garlic bread was excellent. We mentioned this but no comment from staff. The Mains arrived after a long wait, both pastas were cold and the pork barely warm. the waitress agreed with us replaced with no bother and were ok the second time round. Dessert menus arrived before plates fully cleared. There seemed to be a lack of staff and the poor waitress looked run off her feet. Desserts arrived with mains plates still on table so we had to clear the table ourselves which the waitress thanked us for. Coffee arrived cold and the other two tasted burnt, my husband asked for it to be replaced but didnât come. The Bill took nearly an hour to come despite us asking as we had children to get home and it was now 3 hrs after arrival. The waitress argreed everything not good, she was very apologetic for the many little things that had gone wrong. The I drunk and not replaced coffees were on the bill still and so the waitress called the owner to advise her rather than just replacing the coffee as we d asked for. He firstly wasnât there, secondly had left a poor waitress in charge but she couldnât make a decision without calling him. He spoke on the phone and was blunt rude and agressive. All because we mentioned cold food and asked for replacement coffee. This was way over the top and very upsetting to us allâŠ.. Felt so sorry for the poor girl clearly under pressure What a shame as this used to be a top place with the previous manager

We had a wonderful 3 course meal here, for Valentineâs Day. It was the first time weâve been and we canât wait to go back. The food was delicious and well presented, the staff were friendly, the fire was roaring and the wine was scrumptious. All at very reasonable prices. The charcuterie board for two was an excellent starter to share and well worth a try. I look forward to sampling some more dishes shortly.
