Always good for wholesome fresh bacon,sausage breakfast rolls or baked good. Love the steak bakes.

On our visit to Malton I loved this bakery so much- in fact I went for some breakfast, then some lunch- and then I went to another branch in York the day after! The price-quality ratio was amazing. I had the best sausage roll I've ever eaten (an incredible amount of sausagemeat). I tried a range of things from a filled roll to a Danish and everything was really tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee, it was the only thing that let the place down for me, but perhaps I just got a bad one.

Everything baked daily, Fresh and so tasty. Best Yorkshire curd tart.

Do not come here the food is awful the sausage sandwich is terrible and burnt to the crisp inside out all the food here is awful, to prove my point over the course of 2 years Ive ordered 3 sausage sandwiches and they have all been awful

First time here and didnt disappoint, sausage rolls fantastic, the best Danish I've ever had ever.The date and walnut scone also delicious. The bacon and cheeses crown also just the best and in no way greasy. The staff were friendly and the prices e exceptional for the quality.Highly recommended.

Excellent service and cakes were lovely to eat

Had curd tarts from other branches of TtB before and they didn't disappoint but we got a few from the Malton stall last week and the crust wasn't as crisp as the ones we had previously and there were strange hard bits in the curd which weren't the sultanas. A tad disappointing 😢😢😢😢

Excellent. Tasty sandwiches and cakes. Minor quibble: make sure the sandwich filling is spread evenly and not all loaded at the front for show!

Good solid takeaway baking and pastries... no cafe sadly. The veggie pasties are lovely. You can get takeaway drinks as well.

Each time I'm in Yorkshire, one of these tarts is a must for me, I have tried them from many different places but this was the best I've ever eaten. Although weI didn't buy anything else, they had many delicious looking cakes, pies and and sausage rolls. Shop was very clean and service very good.

Best sausage rolls in Yorkshire

Sausage rolls were delish and amazing value for money!

Lots of good products from bread to cakes. Our current favourites are hot X buns, teacakes, lemon loaf and chocolate loaf. The bread buns are also brilliant and different types are produced. The sausage rolls are our grand daughters favourite.

Very good bread,tea cakes, hot cross buns, sausage rolls and many more. Staff are friendly the shop is clean and very busy. A very good local bakery.

We just wanted a light lunch and visited Thomas's to purchase some items. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh, with soft bread. We also got cheese straws and cakey type goods. Their mince pies are good, Christmas or not. What more is there to say. We enjoyed our picnic in the sunshine.

Food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were friendly. Reasonable prices - what more can you as for?

The dog seemed to enjoy the bacon and cheese pastry which I found inedible. The dog however refused the Yorkshire ham quiche - the pastry was detached from the omelette like filling which was rubbery. Avoid the pork pie if you want to keep your teeth but at least filling was ok ish. Iced finger so dry even the dog refused it. Really unpleasant experience.

Lovely local bakery shop offering a huge range of freshly cooked pastries, sweet cakes, sandwiches and not forgetting yum yums. Staff are nice, cheery and helpful, very good prices.

Thomas's curd tart is almost as good as my nan used to make and I always head for Thomas when in Yorkshire, just to get one. Have some very tasty items and great for a treat. Oat biscuits also very tasty.

Thomas the Baker sells fabulous and delicious filled rolls, cakes and obviously bread. I can recommend their Custard Tarts which are delicious. In addition you will be spoilt for choice with the number of freshly made filled baps!
