Great food and service. We were walk-ins and were sat immediately. Selection of food and drink was great, tamarind duck and pad Thai were both really good.

Loved the bertha cake! Delicious!!

Food was horrendous.. left over Bruschetta one slice cut into three pieces and two tomatoes on it literally. pizza terrible to be polite. And charged service charges.. for what? Was pushed to get two starters which didn’t want and drinks we didn’t even want.

Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and quick service. 100% recommended.

Heard great things about the Sunday roast so was excited to give it a try. Food arrived an hour after ordering which was disappointing, but was more surprised that the staff offered no explanation. Would not have been too disappointed if they would have explained they were busy or something along those lines but they just gave us our food as if it is normal to have customers wait an hour. On top of that, they added a service charge without asking after the mediocre service we received. Chicken and carrot was lovely but gravy was a bit weak and rest of roast was nothing special.

Under new management and not only maintained the high standards, but actually improved them! Excellent food and service! Highly recommended.

Very disappointed! We have been here many times before and you could see my husband’s last review was five stars, but how things have changed. We wanted to come back so I have tried to book by messaging twice but I have got no reply to either. More so I have rang twice and left voicemails, again I have never got a call back. If this is the way you treat returning customers then we’ll find somewhere else to go. How can turn down what would have been over a £100 booking is beyond me, but it’s your loss.

I finally managed to order something other than the usual fish & chips, deciding to opt for the loaded chips with chicken strips. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted phenomenal! I'd been wanting to try it for a while and glad I did as I will definitely be ordering it again in the future. Mouthwatering! And you get to watch it being made in front of you. It looked like the member of staff was working on a piece of art, he definitely made every effort to make the food look and taste appealing. The food is always 👌 and although I have always been blown over by the standard of fish & chips (and service), it is definitely worth stepping out of your comfort zone to try the other menu options. Food and staff are top quality! Thank you! 5☆☆☆☆☆

We visited on a Saturday mid afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food we had for starters: Calamari - Lovely and looked impressive. Halloumi - Nice but 2 pieces seems small. Mussels- Large in size and tasted ok. Mains: Lamb cutlets - the lamb was 'meh' on its own but the demi-glaze sauce was delicious. (I could have ate that as a soup!) Pizza - This was nice Steak - Cooked medium rare. Great. Meat Platter - Nice enough, but some of the meats not very flavoursome. Moussaka- This was nice, ordered a side of chips to go with it doesn't come with any. This place sounded like a bargain for £21.95 for a 2 course, but after adding on all the additional £2/£5 for different dishes on the menu it doesn't always work out that price! Nice cosy place and a good little place for a family catch up.
