Darts was ok - not close to flight club as an experience. No hot drinks available, a shame when they open so early? Service was poor, ordered a soft drink and was given diet version when it wasn’t wanted. Had to argue for a refund before we’d even started. Generally unfun. To follow up - the passive aggressive response you see below, is exactly what it was like on the day. I did have to argue - the guy who went to get management to arrange the refund justified the inaccurate serving 3 times explaining the ordered item wasn’t in the fridge. Understood - but it’s on your menu and I ordered it. Mistakes happen; I don’t mind that - it was the disagreement with the barman to go and get you that was unpleasant. I understand diet provision to help people manage their sugar intake as you explain, but as I was forced to explain to the barman and now you - my son is on an 6 week EEN diet following a bowel disease diagnosis. For whatever reason, we’ve been specifically told no diet drinks. He’ll be back on them after this 6 week period is up. Again, I don’t care what you do and don’t sell especially - but I ordered the non diet version that’s is on your menu!!! I only wanted a refund when it wasn’t supplied. What a crazy experience this has been. So it wasn’t an instant refund, I had an experience you didn’t observe - and it was unpleasant. I absolutely was asked for feedback by the same barman I had the unpleasant interaction with - but didn’t want to engage further after the fiasco with the diet/not diet conversation - and our group was wished a “goodbye” which my wife said bye to - I didn’t want to engage further with you, as I said - unfun to speak with staff who take your money, treat you with disrespect and then want you to explain why you’ve had a bad time. This is what Google reviews is for. Don’t try and get your feedback before I leave - make it so I don’t have bad feedback. With your response, you’ve made something just generally poor value and unrepeatable into something where I would actively tell people not to visit you if asked. Personally - I recommend the digital darts at Volcano falls in Castleford. Much much better.

Popped in looking to pass some time with a friend and was initially impressed on what we saw, plenty of games and availability. We were warmly greeted and opted for bowling (which was rather pricey at £12 each for 1 game) and were taken to our lane. There was a terrible drainy smell throughout the game and the lane was off with every ball either of us threw veering to the left which we just laughed about. As we finished, a member of staff we'd not seen asked us to complete a survey and rate his service (we thought this was odd!), followed by our original contact asking us to do the same! We mentioned the lane being off to both who said they'd have a go later and check it out. We then decided to have a game of pool so headed back to the desk where the manager was serving. We again mentioned the lane being off to which we got an extremely rude response of 'it definitely isn't I played on it yesterday' before we told him which lane it was! We were merely passing comment but he continued being quite confrontational and so we decided not to stay. A shame that this person is in charge of what could otherwise be a great set up, and losing the business further custom. Customer service training needed on his part.

Attended here to play shuffleboard for my birthday with a group of 8 women. We have been many times before and usually love it here. The first problem we found was that there was no sand on the table like usual and the venue had none left to do this for our whole game apparently- if you’ve played shuffleboard before you will know this completely changes the board. It was also only 6:30 on a Saturday so I’m confused how this happened. Half way through playing we were then approached by a female staff member who asked us to stop shouting. For further info, the venue is loud anyway with music, the bowling alleys & all the other games going on. The table next to us which was a group of men was also louder than us. Anyway, this was left & then at the end of our game no one came over to tell us we were finished but we were approached by an extremely rude and aggressive bouncer (Lisa) who bellowed at us asking us to leave because our game was over. I politely explained to Lisa no one had told us this & that is fine we weren’t aware but we would go now. She then continued to stand there with really aggressive stature and attitude. We left straight away as asked and yet walking past her she was saying ‘disgusting’ to every one of us. I’m really disappointed in this service, so naturally tried to follow this up with management. They have decided to not respond to my emails. Clearly this is because they know they’re at fault but as someone who frequently visited roxys before you have lost my custom and you should be ashamed that you let your staff behave like this.

Fun place for group activities. Good atmosphere. Ice free curling and bowling played. We'd booked 2 bowling lanes but there was an issue and all 8 were on 1 lane. Made it a bit slower and not what we'd booked. Was still fun though. Convenient drinks can be ordered from table and brought to table.

Good time as Roxy’s always is, decent spread of drink, good is surprisingly really good and would recommend the chilli cheese bites. Staff are super friendly, especially bouncers, shout out to Lisa my mother away from home, would not be the same without her!

We had a rare day out as a family. My husband and I have been to Boom Battle Bar and we expected the same experience but sadly Roxy Lanes fell short of that. Firstly they seemed short staffed, one young girl trying to book people in and running around doing drinks and clearing tables and serving food. We had to wait for glasses to be cleared before we were shown to out table, and this took us over our start time. We were given pucks, no instructions. The 2 shuffleboards at the venue were too close together and I felt like I was sharing my family time with strangers. Also the shuffleboard was too close to the pool table and I got hit a few times by a kid playing pool. Tried to press the button to order drinks and nobody came, after 10 minutes I managed to grab a male member of staff who rudely pointed out the machine on the wall and told me to order from that in the future. We had a running tab so we didn't want to do that or had it explained to us how it worked. He seemed like he just couldn't be bothered and we were inconveniences. There was a family playing pool and they were really loud, louder than the awful choice of music and in my opinion should of been asked to keep it down and be considerate to others trying to enjoy time out. A round of drinks for 2 beers, 2 ciders (pints) and 2 sprites was over £30! That is criminal and definitely put us off. I don't think we will be back, my kids had fun, but the over all experience was not great.

Great night. Enter into the main bar where they have sports on the tv. Then downstairs there’s bowling and pool. Great night. Good service right to the lanes.

Visited on Sunday at 4pm for bottomless brunch. 90 minutes of gaming, food and drinks all for one price. Bottomless offering was clearly explained on arrival and drinks order taken as we were shown to our pool table. Food options were discussed and order placed for a specific time and that is when it came and the quality was good. Barely 5 minutes went by without us been asked if we wanted more drinks. My only complaint was the only beer on offer was Roxy Lager and I would have thought a cider and IPA would be essential somewhere like Roxy. There is an option to upgrade but that still doesn't cover draught beers? A great afternoon and good value for money all things considered even if I did have to buy a couple of drinks when I could no longer face the lager.

We just trialled the bottomless brunch and loved it! Plenty of drinks coming our way when just halfway empty and managed to get through 2 bottles of Prosecco at the same time. Well worth the money given the cost of the games themselves is included. Would absolutely come again!

No food so can’t comment. Isabelle was really nice and can handle a joke. Took a while to get us on the bowling we booked in advance. Either way, first time being here and will come again if I come back to Leeds

Had a great evening here! We went on a Sunday evening and it was not busy at all. We paid £30 for 1 game (its £10 pp off peak) of bowling and £9 for an hour of pool after with a half price deal we were offered after. Off Peak is Sunday-Wednesday Peak Timings are Thursday-Saturday Cocktails usually range from £8-£10 individually but there is a 2-4-1 deal Sunday through Thursday which is great! There is lots more to do here besides bowling and pool, they have darts, arcade games, shuffleboard etc. Overall we had a great time, it’s a nice social place to visit and drink. The cocktails were great and the environment was lovely.
