First time trying dairy free ice cream…and it certainly won’t be the last. Great choice of flavours and the staff in the Bakewell cafe were just lovely. It was certainly as good as any ‘dairy’ ice cream I’ve had previously.

Amazing not expected food friendly staff. Smart chef. I would rate it 10/10 I highly recmmend this restaurant . I will absolutely be a frequent customer.

We had the 2 course Sunday special and it was amazing value for money and very tasty. We selected a starter and a main each for £12.95, the protions were massive and we all struggled to finish our mains.

Had a brilliant time in Charlies. Went on a Saturday around 5.30pm for a few drinks before going for something to eat in Holmfirth. Went back after our meal and on both visits it was great. The staff are great and the place has a brilliant atmosphere. We had an absolute ball. Well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

Always really helpful, and part of local community. Good is amazing. Over December 2023, January 2024, had fish and chips, fish bites, and potato scollops. Fish had lovely chunks of cod, as did the fish bites, and scollops were scrumptious, and everything, is such a bargain.

Fui con trabajo para un almuerzo de negocios (para escapar de nuestro lugar) gran decoración. Bien el servicio. Buena comida cocinada a su gusto. En general, es muy bueno. Y lo recomiendo. Nos paramos en una noche después de la hora de salida de la vida nocturna y fue gratamente completa pero no está llena. Una buena opción para las bebidas. Recomiendo la lista de cócteles...

Salads are generous and tasty. Made to order and no request too much. Great prices healthy lunch Would recommend

We tried the whole cake at the leicester. whilst away in yorkshire we thought wed try the cafe. The bakes are amazing. so much to choose from. Amazing bakery and cafe. the hot drinks are as good.

What an awful experience! I called in with my Daughter and Niece for a drink and a snack. My daughter chose a diet coke and some brownies. My Niece wanted a fruit shoot and some pringles. We paid for them and as we were walking away my 4 year old niece wanted to sit down to drink her drink and eat her snack. I don't even know how to convey how embarrassed you made us feel when you came over to us and announced ... "I didn't realise you were eating inside! You can't eat the brownies in here or I'd have charged you more"! At the time.... There were only 2 more tables of customers. So not like you even needed the room l! I had no idea there was a difference in price and you embarrassed me so much I purchased a coffee, just so I could wait for my niece and daughter to eat their snack! I have NEVER been somewhere and made to feel so embarrassed ever and I will NEVER come back. Neither will my Mum, who often comes in with her grandchildren. Do better!

Typical local pub really. Nothing that stands out, quite a few locals and sky sports. Downside is the drinks are expensive, needs modernising and the landlord / lady arnt the friendliest I've seen.

The Postcard is a proper traditional pub where you can sit and have a drink with your pals and don't get bothered by folk. Pub is clean if a little old fashioned in its decor. Staff are friendly and beer is not badly priced.

The young gentleman who served us was wonderful with the kids and he had excellent customer service. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced - fish was huge! Very pleased, and we will definitely be back!

Have been here a few times and the food is always lovely and red hot. Cooked fresh. The only problem is there fan is never on and is very smoky in there and stings your eyes. Please put your fan on
