Terry's Traditional Fish & Chips in Kirklees

Always really helpful, and part of local community. Good is amazing. Over December 2023, January 2024, had fish and chips, fish bites, and potato scollops. Fish had lovely chunks of cod, as did the fish bites, and scollops were scrumptious, and everything, is such a bargain.

First visit to this shop. Fish was gorgeous and the nicest I have had for a long time. Nice and friendly service.

I visit here quite often, the fish and chips are excellent. I suffer with acid reflux and most fish and chips don't agree with me but I have never experienced any discomfort after eating Terry's fish and chips, even the Irish Curry sauce goes down well. Lovely ladies behind the counter always friendly and welcoming well worth a visit

I have been going here for about 2 years now and they have never disappointed. The two ladies that work here are very friendly, the food is always spot-on and the value for money is extremely good. They offer two battered sausages, chips and a large curry sauce for only £4.20!

Since moving here during the week for work I have eaten from here half a dozen times and I have never been disappointed. The chips are perfectly cooked, the fish super fresh and perfectly battered, the battered sausages the best I have had and the ladies who serve are so lovely, welcoming and efficient. Best I have tasted so far in Huddersfield.

I have been in a few times since it was taken over a couple of years ago hoping to continue to support it. However everytime I have been it has been inconsistent in its cooking and portions. I always used to have fish with the previous owners but had it on 2 occasions - the oil runs from it. The chips are never consistently cooked; dark brown to a reasonable tasting golden colour ( which is rare). Portions vary in size with each different worker. Shame!

You wont get Better anywhere else in Huddersfield,And the girls allways give you a Smile,and a Laugh.Since going in there the 1st time,its a Laugh and a joke and the Service the Best,and we now all on Facebook.I recomend anyone a Visit,to Terry's in Mouldgreen,Broad lane,Huddersfield.You wont ne disapointed.

Best fish & chips in the area none of the others in Dalton or surrounding area have a patch on them! Highly recommended!!! You won't regret it :)

Terry's has had a face lift and the fish n chips are as good as ever. Really enjoyed our tea from there the other night. The batter was v good.
