The young gentleman who served us was wonderful with the kids and he had excellent customer service. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced - fish was huge! Very pleased, and we will definitely be back!

We have visited this fishery about six times. It is very good - good food and massive portions. The only drawback is Reed Street Fishery - which is right next to the main road. You have to pass that to get to this. Reed Street is more consistent than here, but no-one can match the size of the fish and chips. Friendly staff.

Recomendado

we tried tasty bite, because we've grown tired of our local chippy, the quality has got gradually low standard. we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity, they are very tasty + fresh, much nicer than we've had lately. and at around the same price, but much more enjoyable + generous portions, enough to share. they all got eaten, [not like our usual experience]. we would recommend 'tasty bite' to anyone. try them, you'll like them.

We normally visit the same fishery in Huddersfield, but it was closed for annual holidays. I had seen mention of this place on Google and decided to try it. Cheaper than almost any fishery we have been in. Place was clean and bright, with helpful staff. The chips were properly browned and very tasty. The fish resembled Jaws - massive. You would need a very hearty appetite to eat one portion. Two people could share one portion.

Went for lunch, my wife had the fish butty and I had the roast beef with onions and gravy. They were brilliant, a lot of fish and beef, and very tasty. Great ale on tap, what more could you want?

The setting of the Lantern Room restaurant at the Manor House is beautiful. We were given the table in the window, perfect for two people. When we were given the menu the staff explained that there were a couple of extras on it at the beginning as amuse bouches. There were three of them and also some wonderful sour dough bread. These were free. The three very different mouthfuls were exquisite, with the blood orange and trout being our favourite. The sable biscuit was so light. We ordered the crab starter and the mackerel and then both had the line caught sea bass for main course. Both starters were intricate and beautiful to look at with the taste being fantastic. The blend of gooseberry, apple and mackerel was amazing. The quality of the line caught sea bass was first class and the chef did not disappoint in the cooking of it. Absolute perfection. Our evening was made special by the wonderful food, atmosphere of the place and the attentiveness of the staff, so big thanks to all concerned.
