Beaumont Arms in Kirklees

Myself and friends have been going for lunch every 3rd week . The food was very good. Very friendly staff. We will miss going there as the people that have been running it are retiring next week. . We were made to feel at home. Prices were very reasonable too. Needed to book as its quite small and very populor.

Awful Bar man . Our dog barked at a dog . Told we had to leave . My dog is very soft . Said ppl complained they didn’t . Awful experience

Came home from town hoping to get a pint or twovatvthe Beaumont Arms. Noticed the sign on the door stating they closed at 09:30. Light switch witched off as we approached the front door. Closed at 09:20! What pub closes at 09:20 on a Saturday. Needs a young couple, more energy and new ideas. Crap!

Great quiz on Wednesday evenings.

Just had a beautiful home cooked Christmas meal here today. Everything home made and delicious from pate to Christmas pudding. Given just the right time between courses too. God selection drought beers, gin and wine. Something for everyone!

I went to the wake of a great man at the Beaumont arms . Beer excellent the service was very good. Did not dine there so can't comment on the food.. but a very nice place.

Not been for a while but it's just as delicious as ever, the steak and Stilton pie is a must, nice friendly welcome too.

Nothing wrong with the pub, clientele can be boisterous and service can be a bit of a wait. Car park has recently been cut down in size to make way for more outside seating & is full at busy times. Parking then becomes a nightmare as lane outside is too narrow to accommodate parked vehicles.

First time we've called here. Really ultra clean place which is dog friendly, a lovely rear beer garden and sells a really good pint.

Faulty satnav left us in search of somewhere and we came across this pub. Turned out to be a lucky find. Very friendly staff, well kept beer, and lovely home cooked food. Their home cooked pies looked tempting but we went for fish pie, corned beef hash and a sandwich. The pie and hash came with veg and were great value at £14 for the two dishes. The ham sandwich was generously filled. The place was quiet which surprised us for such a great combination of quality and good value.

Super tasty, and steaming hot food. Lovely clean and perfect Pit stop . Service very good too.

Bar staff Holly was amazing very friendly and helpful as we have been in this pub before food excellent I had fish chip and partner had corn beef hash both dishes excellent will definitely return again but will ring up for a table as its quiet a small place

Netherton only pub clean lovely beer

Popped in for the first time a lovely warm welcome from the landlord. Ordered rhubarb & ginger gin with elderflower tonic and was offered a slice of ginger to accompany my drink- excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble, the landlord even allowed us to sit in the beer garden even though it was dark he turned the outside lights on which transformed the beer garden to wonderfully looking forward to going back. With our dog also.

Traditional pub, with good old style pub decor. Very clean. The waitress was friendly and efficient. We had a drink as they dont serve food in the evening.

Friendly couple who ran the pub, lovely garden area and great with their Covid safe system. Only had sandwiches, but all three were lovely, fresh and reasonably priced. Their dog was very friendly too! First visit but will definitely return, thank you 😊

Friendly & comfortable pub. Had a lovely hearty roast beef lunch plus a pint of ale. Great views across the valley from the lounge made even better by the first very sunny day in a while.

We visited for lunch and both selected meals from their two for £12 menu and we were not dissapointed. The young lady behind the bar who greeted us and took our order was very efficient and friendly. Compliments to the kitchen, great homemade quality food! The photo says it all!

Proper homemade food! Nothing too fancy but delicious. Price reasonable been a few times now will definately go again. There should be more of our British pubs like this one.

Called whilst out walking in the area. Good choice of lagers and beer at decent prices. There were about 3 big benches right outside the front door so we sat at one and had a nice beer and rest

A lovely country pub ,dog friendly and a good size ,with outside seating and some parking. Inside was warm and welcoming. There is a slightly separate room with a pool table and TV. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The mixed tray of sandwiches we had were delicious and very fresh. The toilets were clean. It is situated on a steep hill but worth the climb.

I have been here before for the equally tasty Thursday roast dinner, but today had the steak and kidney pie. What a revelation, lovely short pastry, delicious tender steak and kidney, no fat or gristle like some pies I have had in the past, just excellent quality meat cooked to perfection, my husband had the equally tasty steak and Stilton.I think this is the best ever pub pie I have eaten! ( homemade) Always welcomed into this pub, nice atmosphere, bit quiet at lunchtime, but maybe the people around haven't discovered the lovely food served here. Good value for money. Will definitely return.

We stopped off here a couple of time whilst on a short break. It is a nice friendly local with well kept ale and a lovely beer garden to the rear. Well worth a visit.

Living locally to this pub, we have on occasion popped in since it closed then opened then closed and reopened again.

Mi esposa y yo llamamos en en el Beaumont en Netherton sobre la 1:00 p.m. para el almuerzo. Fue ominoso tranquila en allí, pero el saludo del encargado fue muy amable.Yorkshire pudding mi esposa seleccionados con carne y salsa, tenía pescado, patatas fritas y guisantes blandos. Para el postre tuvimos oscura budín de frutas y natillas. Todas las comidas eran con rapidez y excelente cantidad y calidad.No me podía creer la factura de 22 libras que incluye una pinta de sidra y dos refrescos.Me pareció difícil de creer que era tan tranquilo porque el lugar es una verdadera joya!

Friendly service good selection of wines and gins

3 personas para cenar y todos disfrutamos de todo lo que tenía. Agradable y cálido en una noche fría, muy acogedor. Encantador fuego en la chimenea. Excelente servicio del personal y agradable escuchar un gracias y pasar una noche buena cuando nos íbamos.

Doggy un pub con un ambiente estupendo y una buena decoración. La comida y la cerveza era magnífico. Patatas fritas y sándwich de carne para mí regados por una pinta de Santo Grial bitter. Mi esposa optamos por vegetariano sopa casera y pan crujiente, que ella lo disfrutamos. Alfie el perro tenía poco que fue dejado en mi plato! : -)

Go quite a lot here because it is local to me always cosy in winter as a family we love it however i have decided to take a step back for a while not because the food is bad it is not but because we visit alot the food is samey they require a menu shake up just to keep me interested.

Theres a great atmosphere, the staff are always really friendly and most important... its dog friendly.

Lovely Home made food. great portion sizes, family friendly, very good value for money. Would deffo recommend. Thursday lunch is a roast and they have 2 for £10 menu as well.

First time back since a very bad xmas meal last year. We found out that this pub had changed hands and the place was better than previous owners. We had lunch and the menu was small but very nice. We have booked our xmas meal once again this year for 12 of us so lets see what happens.
