The Postcard is a proper traditional pub where you can sit and have a drink with your pals and don't get bothered by folk. Pub is clean if a little old fashioned in its decor. Staff are friendly and beer is not badly priced.

Chilli cheese fries. Mild spice and generous portion. Delicious. Served with style by Nicholas I think was her name. Well recommended, service Fri through Sunday. Homemade Yorkshire puds also look great.

What a lovely, friendly pub! My partner and I walked in on a Friday evening after seeing online that they had sky sports. When we arrived we asked if they were putting the rugby on as they had another channel on at the time, the barman (JP) couldn't have been more accommodating and changed it over straight away! After getting sat down we had a few locals come and chat to us about where we were from and who we were supporting etc. Once the game had finished we stuck around chatting with the barman and barlady (didn't catch her name) who recommended places to visit and eat! They really could not have been more helpful! We popped in the Saturday evening for a drink roo and although it was different staff and was a little busier everyone was really friendly!

I heard that the postcard had recently starting serving food. What can I say but it was fantastic! I would highly recommend the postcard to anyone. The staff were very friendly and the menu had plenty of options. I will definitely be visiting again.

Came in this morning welcoming spot. The three girls working there were absolutely amazing—so friendly and genuine, they made the whole experience feel really personal. And the coffee? Top tier. and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place that gets everything right—great vibe, lovely people, and seriously good coffee. Already looking forward to my next visit.

The West Riding pub is a great place with character and characters. It has history and a traditional old pub feel. I love that about it. It holds an ever changing selection of ales and beers so there's always something new to try as well as some reliable favourites. All good quality. Some nice fireplace spots and a converted car park area to a good little beer "garden" area, that holds regular live bands. The beer prices are a little on the higher side, and the small kitchen means the staff have to try hard to get good food out, but they do as good a job as they can with what they have. You can grab a train ticket if heading on somewhere and walk right from the bar to the platform to catch the train. Perfect All in all, a great place.

Lovely little cafe in the middle of this department store/outlet comfortable warm seating in an open setting. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches for a lite lunch. Staff were polite and friendly and very industrious in their roles, seeing to customers, clearing and cleaning tables quickly and efficiently and generally being very busy. I had a chicken, bacon and barbecue sauce panini which was nicely presented with a basic salad with a balsamic glaze and coleslaw which was very tasty and a very tick portion of apple pie and pouring cream. A very pleasant experience and would recommend.

Had a nice meal, ordered mixed grill, they had run out of sausages so they asked if I would like extra gammon which I had but it was very salty, no fried egg? Anyway it was ok just missing sausage, a lamb chop maybe and deffo eggs.
