Cafe Nova in Kirklees

Visited today. All the sandwiches on display had cheese in them. Asked for a plain ham and they readily agreed. The ham was tasty and baguette was really fresh.

Service was polite and efficient, Comfortable seating area. Coffee good but regular size very small cups. Used to be free refills, but now £1.50.

I had a lovely cup of tea with my friends, very enjoyable.

Lovely coffees, served extra hot as requested, delicious toasted teacake and a cranberry & white chocolate scone. Quick service at till and staff very polite.

Visited today ,sorry to say the coffee wasn't good quality.

We came a couple of times for coffees. The coffees were nicely made, the girl doing it took her time and made an excellent cappuccino. The staff were friendly and helpful and for every drink you purchase you get a free refill if you keep your receipt.

Had breakfast this morning and was a little surprised at how tasty it was, and plenty of it. Will most definitely go again. Really lovely friendly staff too. Far superior to the upstairs cafe.

What a lovely cafe!! First floor with access by lift or the escalator. The staff are wonderful and caring and very polite. Tables are cleaned upon you leaving so there is always something available. There's low seating on couches or at a table if you prefer. The food is always fresh and the scones are delicious too.

Staff too busy talking , no signage to say if table service or not, queued at counter we ended up leaving as we couldn’t get served despite it being very quiet

A convenient place to pause and enjoy a coffee and snack while shopping in Batley Mill. It’s difficult to find a table at noon but we were lucky. Pleasant, helpful service when ordering and our toasties came reasonably quickly. The coffees were quite acceptable. As we were leaving, someone hovered waiting to take our table and we thought the waiting staff were rather sharp telling them they couldn’t wait as the table needed to be disinfected.... could have been handled more sympathetically. This franchise is run by Massarella who have a larger cafe on a different floor but Cafe Nova seems more professional, in spite of the sharp words mentioned above.

A pleasant café which offers well prepared drinks, cakes and snacks. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and there is a variety of seating. Prices are quite reasonable and the atmosphere is nicely relaxed.

Toasted sandwich (Cheese and Tomato) was good and the Gluten Free Victoria sandwich was OK. Our friends had to send their soup back as it was cold. Drinks were fine and hot, however staff were abrupt and not cheerful.

I visit this coffee shop quite often whilst I'm looking around the Mill Outlet. They do toasted sandwiches and my particular favourite is the Welsh Rarebit toastie. The service is always excellent with friendly staff and they also have a loyalty card which gives a free coffee when full. I would have given a 5 star rating but for two reasons. I wish there was more choice in the toasted sandwiches and the coffee is a tad on the strong side for me but still enjoyable. A regular coffee here is much larger than the cafes downstairs and upstairs too! They have a wider choice of paninis than toasties but they are quite large for one so a wider choice of toasties would be great - perhaps a tuna and cheese one?

Great relaxing place for a cappuccino n cake

Coffee was quite good but my scone was dry and unappetising. It was replaced with a different cake when I complained.

Generous portions at reasonable prices. The coffee is good and strong (just how I like it) and the sandwiches are freshly cut.

Cogimos nuestros vecinos ancianos en un viaje de compras de lujo y después de una hora o así estuvieron listos para descansar. El café era razonable aunque, personalmente, hubiese preferido un poco más fuerte. Las mesas estaban limpias y despejadas regularmente. Había algunas opciones de bocado de comida disponibles así lite hubiera estado bien para un almuerzo ligero.

Mi marido y yo visitamos aquí cuatro o cinco veces a la semana para un café. La experiencia es tan relajante, agradable y placentera. El personal es maravilloso y trabajar muy duro aquí. El café está justo a nuestro gusto y el barman son siempre muy servicial y educado. Hemos disfrutado de su sopa hermoso, sándwiches tostados y pasteles muchas veces. La cafetería Nova iluminando nuestro día!

Cafe Nova is a real gem of a coffee shop tucked away in The Mill. Stop here for a great cup of coffee and tasty pastries or cakes to go with it. Always worth a stop, the friendly and welcoming service is excellent!

Sólo estuve para café de unirse a algunos miembros de la familia, que ya estaban en la cafetería. Cuando ordene y sirve café me pareció que el personal era muy agradable y amable. Inmediatamente me informó de que el costo sería tratado como una repetición y con descuento después de los gastos por otros miembros de mi familia. Los bocadillos y pasteles en la pantalla parecía muy atractiva y apetecible. El ambiente del café, a pesar de estar rodeado por una zona comercial fue muy relajante, y bien merece una visita. .
