Amazing not expected food friendly staff. Smart chef. I would rate it 10/10 I highly recmmend this restaurant . I will absolutely be a frequent customer.

I visited with my girlfriend on my birthday. The food was lovely and great value at two courses for £9.95. The waitress was very friendly and service was very good. I'd definitely recommend Fajitas and can't wait to visit again

Called with my brother in law for a bite to eat after a great day at the motor show.. The staff were very helpful & friendly.. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced.. I would strongly recommend and will definitely return.. well done!!

I was very surprised to see such positive reviews. We went for a meal on Saturday 29th October and it was total chaos. It appeared that one of the waiting staff was sacked mid-evening. They seemed incapable of working out what had been ordered and producing it to the table. Our main course eventually arrived after about an hour and we were given the option of taking the starters home as a take away! The staff were terribly nice, but if we had been going out to celebrate a special occasion it would have been massively disappointing.

Not only was the food good value, but the waitress advised us how we could save money by ordering their special deal. So we actually got more food for less money!

The sunflower has nothing to do with the restaurant. It is indicative though of how we felt about whole experience. It was bright, warm & sunny on a chilly October evening. The service was very friendly but not intrusive. The menu had great choices, with a vegetarian option for each of the meat dishes. As well as the Mexican dishes there are also a range of steaks to choose from. Halloumi fingers with salsa for starters was a deliciously different dish. The drinks menu offered a good selection of bottled beers, cocktails (my Long Island iced tea was perfect), and wines. Our waitress was jolly and attentive to all the customers and didn't rush us even when the closed sign was turned on the door. We'll definitely return, and soon.

Everything about this restaurant was great from start to finish. Has soon as we arrived at the restaurant even though our table was booked for 7pm we were seated straight away. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy for a Saturday night but that wasn't a problem as it felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The waiter service was excellent you wasn't waiting a long time for your food and drinks but obviously if the restaurant was quite busy then it may have been different. We ordered our drinks to begin with the cocktails are nice. Then we ordered our starters and the mains all at the same time. Not one of us was disappointed at all, the food was great. The potato skins were really nice and the chicken wings. When the main course came the same again really nice food. I had the ribeye steak with potato wedges and peppercorn sauce. The steak was quite a reasonable size and the peppercorn sauce was really tasty with a bit of a kick to it. The food portions for both the starters and the mains were really good. I couldn't eat all of my main as it was quite filling. So overall I would recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed. The service is great not one thing I could moan about. The food isn't expensive the prices are very reasonable. My advice would be to book a table just in case. The restaurant wasn't busy when we went but you don't want to just turn up and be disappointed if the restaurant is packed as you will miss out on some fantastic food. We will definitely return at some point for some more great food.

Have been on a number of occasions. Quality, reasonably priced mexican food. Full of flavour and very filling. Perfect for lunch or dinner, alone or with friends. Would recommend the barbacoa burrito with the hot salsa. 8/10.

Went with 10 colleagues. Booked table for 6.30 on a sat night (great offer £9.95 for 2 courses) we had picked out meal choices and taken them earlier in the day as we appreciate it can be hard to accommodate for 10 people if busy. Not busy only 1 other table of 1 came in and a take away order yet our starters didn't arrive until 7.30. The young, very new girl tried her hardest but got no help from the rude man (owner?) she had no idea on how to make cocktails, wine was not chilled, how the process worked, she had been shown nothing and just kept getting told off by the man. Food was good for some but bland for others. Nicely presented and mine was tasty although lacked cheese for the fajitas. So sad the price, menu and advertising is spot on and the concept should work but due to bad management, disorganisation and lack of care it is not. Sort this out and it will be amazing, don't and this will be another restaurant that closes in this location.

Booked a table and ate here as a party of 4 on Wednesday night 4th May 2016 and we were fortunate to benefit from their opening 50% off offers however full prices are reasonable and in line with other Mexican restaurants i have visited. The restaurant is tucked away at the top end of Huddersfield Town near the bus station and is not very big so at busy times would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming with authentic music and staff provide you with sombreros to wear (if you want to!) to get you in the mood. We chose starters - Nachos, Potato skins, garlic bread and fajitas (chicken) dippers. All were well presented with a lovely side salad, hot and very tasty! We all shared as wanted to try each others!! For mains - we had a vegetable fajitas, chicken fajitas, chicken taco and peri peri chicken. Good sized portions and well presented - the fajita's are particular nice as they come out in a traditional sizzling pan with accompaniments on the side. We asked for leftovers to be boxed up and this was accommodated with no problems. We also ordered dessert - Churros and banana & marshmallow chimichanga - again could not fault. The only down side to this restaurant was that because it is quite small it was difficult to get away from the smell of cooking and you could smell the vapors on your clothes / hair after leaving the restaurant - they do have an extraction fan but there doesn't seem to be much else in the way of other ventilation. All in all we had a lovely evening and really enjoyed our meal and would definitely return.
