Shanghai Palace in Kirklees

A very nice takeaway, very friendly staff, my wife doesn’t like onions, so they make the dish without onions, I like mine extra spicy, and that’s how they make it.just ask, they will help. Very tasty food, nice flavours. SADLY SHANGHAI PALACE, HAVE NOW CLOSED, WE WISH THEM ALL THE BEST FOR THE FUTURE.

Salt and pepper dishes were bland. Special fried rice was filled with hardly any meat. The salt and pepper chicken was hardly full either. Wouldn’t go again.

Smallest portion of noodles and chips we've ever seen. And the chips were cold. Curry sauce very runny, as was the sweet and sour sauce. There were too many onions and green peppers in the chicken szechuan and not a lot of chicken and the sauce was too thin and runny. The chicken fried rice was a good sized portion, could have done with more chicken. It would have been nice to get some prawn crackers, free with the order, like other chinese takeaways provide! Overall very disappointing

This is the only Chinese in the area we’ll order from, the rest have been awful. Staff are amazing, food is decent, and never had an issue in the past 2 years of using them.

The best Chinese takeaway around. Such lovely customer service received and the food was prepared very quickly - fresh and fantastic quality. I can’t recommend Shanghai Palace enough and will absolutely be returning again very soon! Thank you so much

Excellent takeaway, I have been ordering from Billy and Sue for over 19 years and have never been disappointed, the addition of Daniel to the team has only gone to strengthen the quality of service. The food is delicious.
