Had a brilliant time in Charlies. Went on a Saturday around 5.30pm for a few drinks before going for something to eat in Holmfirth. Went back after our meal and on both visits it was great. The staff are great and the place has a brilliant atmosphere. We had an absolute ball. Well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

Was staying in holmfirth for a girly weekend celebrating a 50th birthday, came across Charlie’s bar and instantly felt very welcome. The bar is beautiful, possibly the cleanest loo’s I’ve seen in a bar! The hosts are so friendly ( thanks for free birthday drink) and bar staff are very efficient & and good laugh. Thank you for your hospitality. The Liverpool girls will certainly visit again.

This has become our favourite place to have a drink in Holmfirth. Great staff, good beer, wine and music. Tastefully decorated and a great vibe😊👍 You can see when your bus is coming from the window too 😂😂

2 Market PlaceI've been in twice in a row. What a lovely place it is! Lovely food and super nice staff! Will be my go to cafe now when I'm in town. I really appreciate the fact that it has proper salt and pepper grinders! Ihad scrambled egg first time, beautiful! Then a tuna salad sandwich the next day. All great quality ingedients. Just lovely!

1 RotcherWe visit Oscars frequently for their pizzas as they are delicious!! Fantastic choice and they never fail to be gorgeous. The wine is also yummy. Great place.

The Lawrence Batley Theatre, Queen's Square, Queen Street.Always a pleasure visiting here. Great range of soups and reasonably priced coffee £2 or pot of tea £1.60 (Dec '18). The staff are friendly and there's a outdoor seating area which in summer is a real sun trap.
